Today was a surprise. Obviously, as you can see, there were no bets that met my criteria. The interesting aspect, however, was the fact that I didn't even get any short-listed runners. Let me explain. ...
In very simple terms I have two sets of 'filters'. The first filter operates with broad brush strokes.This filter results in a number of selections being made that will then go on to the second filter. The second filter refines the selections still further. When you see me report that "No selections met my criteria..." the reality is that some runners made it through the first filter - but none made it through the second. Today, for the first time ever, no runners made it through the first filter!
I hope this is not an indication of things to come. For the moment I'll put it down to General Election Blues! That or the fact that a neighbour across the street has just painted their front door!!!
And for those of you who spend a disproportionate amount of time glued to the betting exchange - DON'T FORGET TO VOTE.
Another point of possible interest: As I mentioned earlier I have been working on two additional 'products' (approaches/methods, if you like, of betting). Since the 1st of December I have been 'paper-trading' them. The initial results appear promising to say the least. Should these products make it to the Betting Bank so to speak, they could (I repeat could) double the profits that I have been making. My intention is to continue paper-trading them throughout December and then (assuming they are still behaving themselves) launch them in January 2020.
