Well, this is over, it was a good fairytale whilst it lasted
By:
nonsense. youre now trying to say that a top flight football manager doesnt deal with or talk about things like the pressure their players experience ie the psychological side. of course they do.
By:
I'm saying, nobody wants to listen to average ex-pros, talking about Pressure moments when they've never been close to experiencing that. Football manager are not being paid to sit on TV talking about similar things. Football players buy buy into them as managers if they can do their job properly, have good communication skills, I mentioned football pundits earlier, because that's now their job, so you can buy into what Rooney says, but not the likes of Redknapp.

Simon Jordan made me laugh "I learned less about football after listening to Redknapp than I did before"

Guto Miguel won the boys division at RG. Saw him in Rio main draw earlier this year. Very raw, but with some potential and a future DC partner for Fonseca in the future.

Who are these mugs bringing babies into the stadium, crying during a point

People are now going to start talking about the quality of womens tennis after this, not as bad as the double bagel at Wimbledon final last year though
By:
thought Maya would be value but turns out she really must be unwell if rumours were true.

Mirra just different gravy when the demons don't get in her way. Interesting to see where she will go from here ...
By:
Can play on grass - wouldn't rule out Wimbledon
By:
less likely to be owned by the home crowd there (crowd not so savage, and other than maybe Boulter and Raducanu none are good enough to threaten her even with the crowd against Mirra).
By:
and it's a weaker surface for other top players (Sabalenka, Iga, Gauff, Pegula)
By:
maybe KaPlis can do something! Showed some promise on the clay before crashing out early in Paris.
By:
mourinho was a pundit when unemployed mes.
By:
Would like to see Kaplis do well, but quite old now, still hard to believe she was World Number 1 at some point though.
By:
and if he talked about what it takes win trophies, at that point in time, then nobody would have bought into it at that point either.
By:
era of Mirra seconds away.
By:
only 24 Slams to go Mirra!

so mourinho talking about football at the highest level when he never played at that level is ok, but anne talking about tennis at the highest level when she never played at the highest level isnt ok. really isnt anything else to say beyond that.
By:
well done on your Mirra pick! I posted that that one and the Cobolli to win quarters pick were good ones and that Sinner winning his quarter was a questionable pick at 1.1 due to his vulnerability in the early rounds, but of course the stupid forum ate that post so it never saw the light of day.

If Jose was talking in the vein of being an ex-top pro and talking about pressure and what it takes, then he'd have been a mug, and those listening to him would have thought what he's saying doesn't carry weight. This is really really simple stuff.

By:
it is simple stuff and dont tell me what to do.
By:
Good to see Mirra hit the winning shot rather than Maja shank a ball into the net. She didn't celebrate too long though as it was too comfortable a win
By:
its called discussion. youre only interested in what you think though and apparently youre never wrong and never to be questioned and as for being the forum spokesman about what people care about again thats ridiculous. no need for rudeness either but thats another thing you seem to do well

Mary Pierce has been enjoying the fine French cousine.

although she's had a terrible year, looking ahead to Wimbledon, if you wanted a rank outsider who plays well on grass to go far at Wimbledon, then there is Samsonova at 150/1

By:
"I wanna thank me" coming soon.
By:
Mirra's Mary Pierce joke didn't go over well.
By:
woah, she's thanking a lot of people today!
By:
"she had many advises"
cute |
By:
Why is her dad not there?
By:
herself deserves lots of credit tbf. Can't be easy to deal with.
By:
Mirra said during that speech "I wouldn't want to play you ever week" to "I hope we play many more finals" lol

doesnt look like anyone will dominate on the wta side going forward. all the top players are capable of stringing a whole tournament together but also flaming out early.
