Badosa could end up with one of the hardest draws for a start of a tournament ever. Halep, Sabalenka och Wozniacki. All former World no 1's and Slam champions. And lots of spotlight on the first two matches. Shame we didn't get Simona vs Woz, that could have been fun.

she's only 31 so you'd think she has more years in her, but there have been lots of injuries. Maybe she wants to become a mom as well?

I think you're right about Shelby wanting to start a family. maybe she'll stop to have kids then come back, but for some reason I don't see her coming back. on the other hand she might feel differently once her kids are born. I doubt woz planned to come back but then things changed in her mind
