I think wisewords was just too lazy to operate multiple twitter accounts like us normal folks do.
One clean one to talk to other (former) forumites, and one that follows all the favourite adult actresses. |

Grant was most likely lured into a bit of a trap by Hamlin. Everyone's favourite Scotsman had already had two bans, and then one day a user called Hamlin (who knew him mostly from cricket I think) involved him and tof (who was also banned on the same day) into a talk about...sensitive topics. Got banned hours later, and third ban is almost always a lifetime ban I think.
Grant is also still very active on twitter. |

He had a short comeback on here as "SuckMyBallsHamlin", but that account was registered by someone else who then took over the account over a money/betting disagreement.

oh no Koepfer is really mad now.

I thought you had been banned for life from the forum actually. Seeing your name pop up was a pleasant surprise.
It's good (and very strong) that you decided to leave gambling/betfair behind if it didn't work out for you. I hope the recent crash in crypto didn't get you too bad. |

Which one are you mining? Ethereum?

and yeah, Elon is a bit of a dick. He's just playing and having fun with it while people lose money due to his tweets.

Roger mugging again. Broken despite getting a 15-0 headstart.
By:
Wait, they actually did give Koepfer a point penalty for spitting?
By:
...only paying half attention.
By:
he had code violations before that.
By:
Yeah, that's a given, but normal spitting doesn't usually earn you a violation.
By:
Aggressive spitting maybe.
By:
he walked across the net to inspect and ball mark and spitted on it before raising it. So maybe the code violation was actually for crossing the net.
By:
*before erasing it.
By:
Ah ok, aggressive spitting on a ball mark.
By:
you're not allowed to walk to the other side of the court and umpire didn't specify what the code violation was for.
By:
That too.
By:
but I don't know if that applies to when the game is actually over.
By:
It was a change of ends, right? Then you are perfectly allowed to walk over.
By:
You don't actually have to go to your chair on a change of ends or anything like that. Can walk straight to the other side and chill there.

Liz Curran @lizcurran
· 3m He’d already been spoken to by the umpire & asked not to do it. Totally gross behaviour even in normal times & fully unacceptable in a pandemic. I did hear a conversation regarding this earlier. |
By:
If Chris Paul was a tennis player, he would fake an injury, lure the opponent over to his side to see that he was ok, and then ask the umpire to give opponent a warning for crossing the net.

what kind of price will Joker be v Fed in the QF, if Fed can get there?
By:
Novak 1.18?
By:
haha
By:
BOOM!
By:
he's 1.05 against Musetti, I give Musetti a bigger chance than Federer. But he won't be those odds.
By:
anyway, good to see Roger come out on top. Usually when he loses big leads, it's all downhill from there. This can't have been easy for him.

The 1.05 is bonkers v Musetti and I'll be laying the crap out of that, should be a solid trade.
I also reckon Berrettini has a serious chance of putting Fed out, but lets assume for now the 2 goats are in the QF. I would hope to see something between 1.25 and 1.30 on Joker. Guess that's pie in the sky then? ![]() |
