Hey guys, just watched a fantastic tennis match, & guess what....A BRIT W - O - N !! CoolCool
I'm perfectly happy for him to be British ( cos he is).. but he's Scottish 1st, THEN British!!
C'mon, you cant say that if Henman had done it , you'd be calling him British....the St George's would be everywhere....just as they should be, as long as Union Jacks also.
I'm just truly over the moon that we BRITS showed the world we CAN actually win something ( Sir Chris Hoy, Jessica Ennis & LOADS MORE) with TWO truly fantastic ceremonies at London Olympics & Paralympics & (no wee girls who kidded on they were singing as in Bejing)
I think & hope it's brought the country closer so lets get rid of the racist scum in our midst who are a tiny minority...
English/Scottish/Welsh/N. Irish...be proud of YOUR country cos I'm a very proud Scotsman who's also proud to be British!!
As we say up here........."Here's tae us, Wha's like us....DAMN FEW & THEY'RE AW DIED!!"

the only stumbling block for my novak bet and numerous serena djokovic doubles was murray....didnt feel federer could take on murray and novak back to back over best of 5 so took 7/2 murray before fed even went out as insurance...couldnt really see any other threat on novaks side....delpotro was the only one but novak was inspired that night in perfect conditions
By:

When: 11 Sep 12 02:55
with the goat probably missing the oz open it will prob be novak v murray again as delpotro never seems to be ready in jaunary..still think he will have a big say if he stays fit
By:

I dont think he is...he is just never fit for long enough....he has proven he can beat the best in a slam...
By:
Has this ever happened before?
When: 11 Sep 12 03:01
yeah but that was before his injury lay off

who has he beaten at a slam since?

also djoko and murray are miles better than they were when delpo won 3 years ago
By:

When: 11 Sep 12 03:03
delpotro is not in the same class as top 4, injury or not.
By:
HARRY22
When: 11 Sep 12 03:06
del potro can beat this group....you will see...i have been right with this guy before...i called it when he was up and coming Wink lets just see

indeed, he just played 1 lights out slam

which tsonga nearly managed in oz once

plenty of reached 1 slam wonders

By:

When: 11 Sep 12 03:09

but was just a wonder slam

I'm in the unusual position of agreeing with Harry. Delpo can be class, he doesn't have variety but his ability to hit the skin of the ball is only matched, maybe, by berdy.
By:
HARRY22
When: 11 Sep 12 03:14
no johanssen was and the likes of him...flukes..beating nadal and federer in their prime is no fluke...he dismantled nadal and federer the same in the end...del has got it mentally..he will be back
By:
Has this ever happened before?
When: 11 Sep 12 03:14
he doesn't have the fitness either

didn't he lead fed 2-0 in paris and get blown away?
By:
HARRY22
When: 11 Sep 12 03:15
we agree more than you think evski Cool
By:
Has this ever happened before?
When: 11 Sep 12 03:15
yeah it wasn't a fluke but it was 3 years ago before a bad injury

he'll never get that form back is my point
