im glad i was disciplined and only had a few small bets on this match, could of lost a fortune if i went big, have a decent profit for the stakes though, hope everyone else had a good nights trading!

He is British and Scottish.
Easy peasy to understand. |
By:
surprised fat alec aint there tbh
By:
probably had the scottish budget on novak...
By:
By:
I've lost a big chunk
but am blissfully happy |
By:
yang won nearly 5k on this lol
By:
that was andy murrays best interview...superb final set performance...lucky with that net cord mind in 1st game..well deserved win...played a storming final set
By:
you make your own luck
had plenty of unlucky ones too and didn't rafa frame a smash onto the line in the 4th at bp? |
By:
djoko ffs
i'm still in shock |
By:
big thanks to sky!
By:
lol rafa...yes he did..i am talking momentum...novak had all the momentum...things may have been different if novak held...still a well deserved final set win...very solid.
By:
yeah can't believe he won
he looked totally cooked then he found a new level and djoko couldn't deal with it ![]() |

Hey guys, just watched a fantastic tennis match, & guess what....A BRIT W - O - N !!
![]() ![]() I'm perfectly happy for him to be British ( cos he is).. but he's Scottish 1st, THEN British!! C'mon, you cant say that if Henman had done it , you'd be calling him British....the St George's would be everywhere....just as they should be, as long as Union Jacks also. I'm just truly over the moon that we BRITS showed the world we CAN actually win something ( Sir Chris Hoy, Jessica Ennis & LOADS MORE) with TWO truly fantastic ceremonies at London Olympics & Paralympics & (no wee girls who kidded on they were singing as in Bejing) I think & hope it's brought the country closer so lets get rid of the racist scum in our midst who are a tiny minority... English/Scottish/Welsh/N. Irish...be proud of YOUR country cos I'm a very proud Scotsman who's also proud to be British!! As we say up here........."Here's tae us, Wha's like us....DAMN FEW & THEY'RE AW DIED!!" ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

looking forward to reading this thread

the only stumbling block for my novak bet and numerous serena djokovic doubles was murray....didnt feel federer could take on murray and novak back to back over best of 5 so took 7/2 murray before fed even went out as insurance...couldnt really see any other threat on novaks side....delpotro was the only one but novak was inspired that night in perfect conditions
By:
with the goat probably missing the oz open it will prob be novak v murray again as delpotro never seems to be ready in jaunary..still think he will have a big say if he stays fit
By:
delpo way off the top 4 level
By:
it was good murray admitting he thought the wind helped very honest lol
By:
By:
I dont think he is...he is just never fit for long enough....he has proven he can beat the best in a slam...
By:
yeah but that was before his injury lay off
who has he beaten at a slam since? also djoko and murray are miles better than they were when delpo won 3 years ago |
By:
delpotro is not in the same class as top 4, injury or not.
By:
del potro can beat this group....you will see...i have been right with this guy before...i called it when he was up and coming
lets just see |
By:
indeed, he just played 1 lights out slam
which tsonga nearly managed in oz once plenty of reached 1 slam wonders |
By:
yes like murray
![]() |
By:
how many have went through the 2 GOATs to win a slam
![]() |
By:
i meant reached the final
murray 5 tsonga, delpo, berd, soderling 1 |
By:
and still people said murray was part of that group
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
By:
nadal fed back to back..now that is impressive
By:
yeah it was
but was just a wonder slam |
By:
I'm in the unusual position of agreeing with Harry. Delpo can be class, he doesn't have variety but his ability to hit the skin of the ball is only matched, maybe, by berdy.
By:
no johanssen was and the likes of him...flukes..beating nadal and federer in their prime is no fluke...he dismantled nadal and federer the same in the end...del has got it mentally..he will be back
By:
he doesn't have the fitness either
didn't he lead fed 2-0 in paris and get blown away? |
By:
we agree more than you think evski
![]() |
By:
yeah it wasn't a fluke but it was 3 years ago before a bad injury
he'll never get that form back is my point |
