There is more than one way to make a profit by gambling. Trading is only one of them. If you back enough events at 1.18 which should be say 1.12, and the bookies only offer you 1.15, then you make more profits on here, and you make profits because you have value. And that is 100% correct.

Yes you can lay off. But the simple truth is not everyone does.

And I bet everyone on here has entirely different strategies of what to do.

Nicky, 1.1 just isnt value. If he twists an ankle or slumps like in the Lopez game, you're instantly f**ked. You should be remembering where to enter the market next time and not trying to squeeze out value from 1.1.

Darlo, how can you tell every 1.18 bet should be a 1.15 or 1.12? If you could spot value at low odds and get it right 4 times out of 5 you'll break even....and only if you don't trade out! To do that consistently though? No way.

It's a massive minefield and like someone said earlier, I don't know any big players who make money that way. You'll just keep hitting zero when a bit of bad luck ruins a 'value' 1.18 bet.

Hollywood, 1.01 is a simply not worth it unless you can get matched for £1000 - £10,000........which i severely doubt as they would be 1.01 at around 3-0. Doesn't work mate.

All gambling is about probability and mathematics. It doesn't matter if it's poker, fruit machines, football betting, etc, etc. The basic principle is inherently the same.
