Darlo Bantam: Yeah I do understand actually. Backing at 1.18 usually entails huge stakes...hence the stress involved and risk of spunking tons of money instead of waiting for actual value bets. i.e Murray at 3.15. Plus the fact you'll have to win multiple times to cover just one loss.

A 1.18 shot means you should have 84 per cent of winning. If you weight up your odds correctly and you think it has better than that chance, then you know you might lose but the odds in the long run are in your favour. Only if you believe in such a strategy then will you win. If you think you're going to panic, then you shouldn't be backing those odds. And to think about panicking shows you don't believe in betting strategy.
