You're keeping Fig's thread busy, and it is entertaining me to some extent. But we are going backwards and forwards, you seemingly cannot acknowledge your illogical, conflicting positions. How can you argue, producers are week on week dampening a runner, nearly 2 months from the OR, and not lay them at odds on, saying they aren't short enough to lay

George's production was horrible for sure, and the critique was fair. His worst dance, but it wasn't too bad. No damage done, just you getting excited about Vicky again, claiming she should be favourite

fwiw she had great production, but the dancing itself was easy, yet static for half of it. if that's her high watermark, it's not too high :)

The video before was a vote winner, I'll be surprised if she doesn't top the vote this week. We have had 3 weeks in a row or George being dreamed. And you won't wake up and smell the coffee.
So 2 weeks ago Vicky wasn't good enough for that stage of the competition. Is George good enough for this stage? Hes being left behind. |

So I think before last week's dance, someone had a £1K+ up at 2.3* for George. Stands out nowadays :(. After last week's deramp, that was taken and he was backed into odds on. Now he is being matched circa Evens, after 2 deramps in a row. According you, after Vicky's dance, she should be fav. At least she has been smashed in from 9 to 8 :)

You're discrediting yourself, I'm just relaying what you've posted earlier. Nobody I would have thought, would try to claim George's Jive was as good as it could have been. Before the show, he could possibly have got the p i m p. The market reflected that. The slight drift is very appropriate.

I think they are navigating Amber into a situation where if she comes up against either Vicky or Alex in the latter stages she loses in a dance off.

I'll be happy whoever wins out of the 2. Alex is a slightly bigger green. But again the treatment tonight would have me seeing Vicky as the plan A. Alex would be an easier Plan B to get over the line due to being a better dancer, and not as marmite as Vicky. I disagree with George being the one to beat, and will keep disagreeing until his beat
You really just need to assess the treatment. K Pop was the beginning, underwhelming CC. Then Cold play stitch up track, and tonight the worst of all. Once he dances a party latin and the market finally wakes up to the fact he isn't a strong enough dancer, is when we will have a new favorite. |

The scoring has gotten progressively irrelevant. It's just used to manage/manipulate the show these days, and has little correlation with the actual dancing. There's no betting on it either any more, hence I literally pay no attention to it, unless it impacts the dance off and I want to get involved. The 'get out' is that they claim to mark each runner against themselves. Which allows for practically anything. How else could one put Amber on the same level as Vicky tonight, for example.

The scoring has lots of relevance when a dancer is generally poor, the comments call him out as poor, and the scoring reflects this. It's how the floating voters base there online voting intentions.
