The only time the scoring has no relevance, is in a scenario where the public have long decided their winner such as Chris last year.
By:
It's literally no relevance. 27 30 31 28. Who cares? As long as they aren't in the dance off. You're making out like there's a science to it. Nobody voting will remember what the runners scored last week, let alone what they scored in icons week when we get to December.
By:
Of course they won't. But a producer favorite isn't getting placed bottom of the leader board at this stage of the competition. What part of that are you not grasping???
By:
Anyway, the only way George loses is injury :)
By:
George isn't the 'producer' favourite. The game is that he will be voter fav, so will producers try to stop him, and if they try, can they be successful.
By:
Easily. Needs to be topping the vote every week from his Paso which is not gonna happen. He's not in any danger tonight, but he'll hit a dance off at the business end, then it's curtains.
By:
Usually putting a very popular runner down the table is used to manipulate the dance off. I've been doing this for years, but I cannot work out what they are trying to achieve tonight lol. Amber being there wouldn't be a surprise, but I can't believe she would be booted. But this new rotating head judge thing gives them more scope to deliver an upside down outcome.

By:
Ps Alex is the voters fave at this point.

The best poll we have has George top

Ah a few hundred ahead of Alex, who has been thousands ahead of him the last few weeks. Of course there will be a lot of sympathy votes for George tonight. But seeing as Alex danced a fairly boring foxtrot early on in the show, the level of her support is very strong. She is on the up, where George is on the decline.

Yup, Amber saved over Jim

If you give enough opinions, one of them will be right eventually, law of averages
![]() Can you quote yourself giving Alex 'the nod' 3 weeks ago? |
By:
October 13th I posted - Not many mentions for Alex, wonder if she's gonna fly under the radar and is actually the chosen one.
And that's exactly the moment I started eating into her at the 25-30 range |
By:
She's a better dancer than George
Female (preferred) Ticks a box for older female winner Massively popular Can tour I have George covered. But I'd be backing Alex all day long at current prices. (October 18th) But yes I'm just randomly throwing out opinions as they come to fruition :) |
By:
13th Oct is not 3 weeks ago on my calendar, in fact it's less than 2.
This what you posted yesterday (1 day ago on my calendar). But again the treatment tonight would have me seeing Vicky as the plan A. Alex would be an easier Plan B to get over the line due to being a better dancer, and not as marmite as Vicky. |
By:
Why would you have George covered if you don't think he's the one to beat and he's been odds on?
Very odd betting strategy Bobby ![]() |
By:
Lol how many more times. One of them wins this series. I'm happy sitting on monster greens whoever the show chooses. Alex will be by far the easiest one to get over the line, but can't rule out a Vicky win at this stage.

Plan A has now evolved to 'can't rule out' in less than 24 hours.
You are a lot of fun Lou ![]() |

It's actually 60/40 in favour of Alex

I'm starting to think George misses the final.

With the treatment tonight including the video and previous few weeks comments, Vicky should be favourite. |
By:
Has that now evolved as well

George going to be 2.5 at the least by tomorrow morning. The market is finally waking up. Albeit very slowly
By:
Well, if you believe a runner 'should' be favourite, it implies that you think they have the best chance of actually winning. Presumably, better than Alex. But it's a different day, so you might have a new opinion to share

Final at the moment
Alex Vicky Lewis Either girl wins, most likely Alex |
By:
Remember your theory on a 3 person final meaning Vicky couldn't make it :D
By:
Ah, lovely. A different day, a different opinion

By:
Ok but what's remained consistent is the odds on favourite doesn't win. But yes we'll ignore that eh?
By:
A favorite that only loses through injury lol

Everything was horrible about George's production yesterday, and I feel like Alexis had way too much emphasis on parodying Styles. They weren't the only runners to make that mistake. She's new obviously and perhaps misjudged it, he got no credit for that element, but that's what she concentrated on. It made the underlying look quite awkward at times. Theme weeks are always a nonsense and give production a lot of scope to mess about. For me, the test of support is how that shows in an average or bad week for the runner, not a good one. As I stated yesterday, a modest drift is about right.
By:
He will drift more than this and rightly so. Id have him 3rd/4th favourite at this point.
Why are you not realizing the producers are the ones organizing production, and he's being hampered week after week. He's going through his vote winning dances at the rate of knots. |

Ok Fig, George is clearly your biggest green, and that's fair enough that you can't see the wood for the trees, if Ive got it wrong I'll be happy to take it on the chin. But right now, I'm more than happy with how the prods are handling the 'non touring' favorite.
By:
I've never believed the touring thing is hugely important. The winner usually tours because most of the top dancers do.
I remember they trying to do everything to stop Jay winning, who was touring, by pushing Kellie who wasn't. not sure how those who obsess over who is or isn't touring explain that one yep, George is still my biggest green. I think he's shown enough in his AmSm, Paso and Tango, that given the right song and styling he could produce something worthy of the pimp and a full on ramp Alex is lovely, but they've generally not pushed the older women when we get to the business end. Pam the only exception. They increasingly seem to push the celebs with appeal to the younger end of the audience who rack up the SM hits |
