Amber finishing third of four in the table over two dances is a long shot to say the least. It's fantasy to think that the bbc will overtly manipulate it just to stop someone winning. imho.

People opposing George need to hope that he isn't topping the vote, and/or won't be by then. Which of course, is entirely possible.

I wouldn't entirely rule out the samba by that stage Grin

It will still be unprecedented for an able bodies contestant as poor as George to be able to keep this up all the way to the final and end up winning, purely on popularity. Would be like Jay McGuiness, minus the best dance in history that won it for him.

If he loses public vote any week when hes
bottom on judges scores then he's highly likely
to be in a dance off with Amber.

Assuming the judges
don't make any ties.
and assuming Amber is bottom of public vote.

If he avoids all dance offs we know how he's polling.

Personally I predominately just look at what's happening in the series, rather than the past. George is strong in ballroom and pretty weak in latin. This is not unusual. But he already has the paso in a hypothetical final. He has a number of dances left where he could shine. QS being the most obvious. In the final he could easily be up against two ringers.

If he is in a final with Lewis and Amber, he wins. No one will deny that. For me it's unlikely we get that final.
Just look at his week on week treatment since his Jive, that's a hatchet job and they are not slowing down going into this weekend either.

He just had a brilliant weekend! Some market participants just can't look past the technical quality of the dance, as they see it. Hence the immediate drift. But if people didn't get it wrong, I wouldn't be winning.

Is George strong in ballroom?

He's always dance by numbers to me.

If he let's go then he might be a good dancer

I remember them unlocking ramprakash from a similar
torpor back in the day.

Craig absolutely ripped him a new one. And regardless of his army responding well and rallying him to safety, I would still imagine the voting statistics are very tight and the neutral voters do pay attention to what Craig says.

In his pod he said the prods asked him for songs that meant something to him. That song, and his unknown mate's one. So, realistically one song. The prods gave him that (for a rumba) allied to a vt from the Gods. Craig obviously has no time for him, but if anything that's also a positive. If the prods really had it in for him, he would not have been given realistically, the only song he picked before the series.

Again I see that as a sign his vote is manageable now.
Look at the **** he's been given this weekend :D

I've never seen such positive treatment for a runner they want to kybosh. Yet they exposed their actual tco via a Jive in a dayglo dress.

Positive treatment? Must be a minimum of at least 3 out of the last 4 weeks at least one of the judges have highlighted a mistake in George's dance!
Vicky remains a head scratcher. Possibly something behind the scenes that caused her being engineered out of the competition. I guess we will never know, but even James Jordan mentioned in his column last weekend that she was the most improved, and the perfect journey contestant. But what does he know?

I said to you already that judges bluffing and/or over scoring is in of itself, negative. It wasn't a rumba so they had to call it out. No problem with that. The panel was predominately positive, aside from Craig. Reality tv is a bit like race reading isn't it. We don't all see it in the same way. It's been mixed messages from prods re George but I definitely don't see open war on them. His CC is comfortably the highest viewed dance of the series on yt. More than likely they used the opportunity to participate in the current youth zeitgeist, rather than nobble him.

The cc actually demonstrates that he should be absolutely fine with a salsa. I would have preferred the QS in BP, but we don't always get everything we want :)

I guess last weekend was a call to arms to motivate his voters to keep Vicky in the bottom 2.
This weekend won't be so damning. But the dance and the music is going to absolutely contribute to chip away at his support.

The word on DS is you can top the vote this weekend and somehow finish bottom. I thought that was only when it was down to 4.
However I've had a nibble on the 80s for George to go this weekend.

It can happen the 1st week, but obviously mathematically about the same chance of winning the lottery.

Still highly unlikely at this stage. One combination in 720. If my maths are right

This doesn't account for potential ties (and assumes it's random).

You're not really in a great position for sarcasm on this event, Bobbasauras. Some humility might be in order ;)

He is excited to be dancing with two female pros. And none of them are Alexis Grin

Obviously their costumes and styling were horrid, and pretty much anyone over the age of 14 didn't know the song, but George's CC was actually very decent (the actual moving). For me it gave plenty of encouragement he'll be capable of a very decent salsa, and now we know he's loving it too. One thing he is really experienced in is being watched and comfortable with risking looking stupid. Which is good for the salsa, and potential charleston with any luck.

I'll be watching from Cape Verde with a cocktail in my hand:)
George will be rock bottom simply cos he's a poor dancer. Especially now the competition is thinning.

I'm all good with A Karen win. The joys of having an overpriced odds on donkey. Easy to position yourself to make profit.
