What was all the chat about one routine being clean
and the losing one not being clean by suggestion.

Have they edited it out?

No, he's not drifted. Back high, lay low, generally is the way to go.

She was just even worse in the d/o. Bal was better compared to the main show, to my eye. Not that it matters as we know, as predetermined, but no lay viewer is sitting at home saying the wrong one went.

Alex Price looks tasty. Top up time

Yeah, balvinder was excellent in the dance off.

That would have been a simple reason to give.

Something was missing/ re edited,.. Perhaps to make
words fit what we saw.

And given the rumours 2+2 and all that.

The DS people had actual 'moles' didn't they, no mention of a fall or trip. Just one attention seeker on tt.

Alex's age seems to have caught up with her. Lewis is the ringer. Amber the secret ringer but not very relatable. Karen's face looks bony and hard except 3 weeks ago in her Rumba when her hair crowned her (does nobody realise that in a program where aesthetics are so important).
Vicky going massive boost to George imo. She'd stopped gurning and talking about her disreputable past TV and was easily enthusiastic and cute enough to win over middle England (she won IAC).
    So more waiting.

This weekend make or break for Alex. I still think there is value in her price and have acted accordingly. A CC in the mould of Helen Skeltons and she would be right in the mix again.

Does it matter Lewis is a ringer, I've not seen the same
levels of vitriol afforded to ringers in previous years.

And he's obviously such a ringer he is head and shoulders
over previous ringers.

He's actually a highlite of the show, like Joanne's,
and Diversity last week.

I note he out polled everybody on the poll last week
although I believe he was behind George at time BBC poll closed.

If it didn't he'd be 1/3 not 3/1.

Definitely arguable to have him in your book, as I have. As he will be in the final if remaining injury free, and technically will be the best performer in it. Katya a big bonus. So the current 4.2 isn't a bad price at all. For me the market is right though. Whittle was a great dancer, palpably miles ahead of Mincey, but we assume Mincey still beat him easily in a direct head to head. Long time ago, a lot has changed but there won't be a more evident example.

He'd be 1/33 on dance ability.

But we know it's a popularity contest.

Risk of injury would make that too short alone. But it's hypothetical anyway.

Given everything you know, what price should Lewis be in this market, iyo?

I think if between now and the final no one has a wow dance to rival his then Lewis has a fairly decent chance of winning the final.

Karen would have a chance of winning the final with 2 excellent dances to reprise

La Voix given a bye.
Just cancel the series and be done with it. The whole series has been a shambles.

Some irony in that the whole thing was constructed around getting him to Blackpool Grin

Will be to see if the producers want to expose who is struggling in the pv out of the four plausible winners, or have Amber in the dance off again.

I'm struggling to price it up.

I think Lewis is polling well and close to George.

Audience for final may be different and I have no idea
on what George's actual social media pull may be.

Lewis is an outstanding dancer, and his regional
vote rival has gone.

I really want to back Lewis, but haven't.

There's no light and shade with Lewis. No vulnerability. No jeopardy. We all know he (and Katya) be ruthlessly efficient with whatever song and style they throw at him. He was the most accomplished performer in wk1 and already know he will be in the final. Teachers' pet springs to mind.

George on the other hand is the complete opposite. Has actually no clue what he is doing, and leaning onto Alexis (a woman) for all guidance. He's given himself over to her as well, basically. It's notable (to me) how many women seem to be loving Alexis. Not many people vote on scd for the pro alone, but they do vote for a partnership (see 2024!). Last Saturday, a mid 20's lad bared his soul live in front of millions of people. Trusting in Alexis. I think he'll win pretty easily tbh, but perhaps will need to defeat the producers in the process, and anything close to an iconic dance would make him unbeatable if completing the course.

Are they going to bring up his mams illness every week
to gain votes.

Bit extreme if that's the plan

You don't need to justify your position, I've read the thread
with interest, but the stuff I'm catching online isnt
as damming as I expected.

If judges continue to mark amber above Lewis then
George will hit a dance off, at some point, and he
and his backers better hope it's not Amber he faces.

Am I not right in assuming that in a 4 person semi the person at the bottom of the leader board hits a dance off no matter what their public vote is,?

I was responding to this element of your post, not justifying my position. Just the way it has played out, the stark contrast of what George is, compared to Lewis. If Amber makes the final as I've suspected all along, the contrast will be even more stark, assuming the third person is Karen or George.

Yes, you're not right.

Especially considering the annus horribilis that auntie is enduring, I can't see them risking dumping out the vote topper from their flagship live show, anyway.

There's a 1 in 6 chance of the person at the bottom topping the vote and ending up in the dance off

It needs the 2nd bottom on the LB to be bottom of the vote, the leader to be 3rd and the 3rd to be 2nd

So would probably have to look something like this

1. Lewis  4+2 = 6
2. Karen/Alex 3+3 = 6
3. Amber 2+ 1 = 3
4. George 1+4 = 5

By:
Bobbasauras

Fairly easy to manipulate then you would imagine
Bottom line is this. If George finishes bottom every week leading up to the final which is both probably and possible, he will not end up winning
