I doubt they would have been so generous at the business end when it matters.

Even George backers must see that's not gonna bode well for his chances, over marked beyond belief.

I thought it was great fun. The 3rd best of the night. Behind Karen and Lewis. I suspect that's the final 3.  The other 3 were rather meh.

Every talked up, over and above, except Lewis, Karen, Amber. Be better if judges were just honest.

It's fine, they know their winner. And she will hose up from here.

Alex? Vicky?

They could ditch the semi dance off, and cut Amber loose then. With the cover of all of the quitters.

How it used to be of course, until they wanted even more manipulation.

Calling Karen a non dancer tonight was everything you needed to know about their intentions from here

We could see that for ourselves.

Knowledgable commenters across interweb saying George was poor. He's not going to have a "breakout" dance. Alexis has been clever to hide it so far.

I feel like most prescient is that tonight virtually ruled out Lewis. He's too good, nobody cares. The front runners are as expected. I should imagine the pot will be to get rid of Amber somehow before the final, which they could by abandoning the semi DO. Of course that is a problem for the Sunday broadcast. I can't recall what they used to do instead.

She was amazing tonight, but has very few dances left that will suit her. 3 ballroom dances. Which she's been poor at. Her couple's choice the one banker she has left. I'm guessing it will be a disco one

She probably doesn't need to impress though now, as she should have enough goodwill to get her to the final

I like her and, bets aside, I would probably like to see her win over anyone else

She's my 2nd biggest green fwiw

Not sure what your point is cider?

Drop the DO to ditch Amber?

How does that work? No DO, no one goes?
By:

Why do they want to ditch Amber? The public don't like her much anyway, let her die a natural death if she is to die.

fwiw I think Amber will be dumped by Lewis. In the quarters or semis
By:

I'm pretty sure there wasn't a dance off in the semis for early series. It was only scheduled to be a 3 way final as well. But it could be xf I'm thinking of.

Seems to me they would prefer Karen and George in the final. Two ringers out of a final three is one too many.

oh, I understand now Grin Yep, the DO was brought in about series 4?

before that it was the one with lowest combined score who left. I don't see them doing that

They can easily fix a Lewis v Amber DO in the semis by having a draw. Either at the top or bottom
By:

could just do pv. it does make the Sunday broadcast redundant though

They won't want that again. I suspect they'd like a final of Karen, George and Lewis, but beyond some subtle LB manipulation, they won't completely change the format
By:

When: 22 Nov 25 20:55
Depends where Lewis is I suppose. If he is third they can get him into the D/O easily enough.

Im struggling to see any combination that gets Karen beaten in a final, but I imagine it would need Alex in it.

At least your pill has finally landed on someone with a genuine chance. It only took two months!

What dances does George have left to choose from (ie the producers have to select from)?

Behave Cider. I realized her chance about a month ago when I told everyone I took insurance against Karen. Since then I've piled in to turn her a lucrative green
But don't let that get in the way of you crying about George getting beat,as I've told you he would from day 1.

We know what 'insurance' means ;) and you've only claimed to have piled on to Karen since the arse went out of Alex's price. I'm sure you were only recently talking about how great her cc was going to be lol.

But you didn't name the dances George has left in the locker ?

Well looks like I was wide of the mark regarding the Vicky treatment afterall.
Over to Alex to save my series.

Bobbasauras • November 15, 2025 11:42 PM GMT
I still have faith Alex can save my Xmas :/

Bobbasauras • November 18, 2025 8:00 PM GMT
I reckon Alex shakes up this weekend with the dance of the night :)

Happy

I've been taking an odds on favorite since day one, along with the second favorite who is a raging ringer. Making money is a walk in the park mate. But believe what you want ;)

The market order is now right, and no doubt thorp's poll will show a healthy lead for Kaz tonight, so the movement is understandable. But that somewhat masks how positive it was for George, too. And he only has one tricky dance left. Although they might not do a gratuitous AT as it's more of a brother and sister vibe. A supposed very awkward dance for them ended with a pimp 39 and noteworthy positive comments. Certainly a great night for Caz and full throated support, so great night for me, too! But she has tricky dances left as Fig has outlined.
