That's all she knows how to do. Imagine a whole album of herCry
The worst singer in the final

Very positive comments for Power of Love and she gets: Like 442; Dislike 2. You don't see that ratio often.

For me it's like women with tattoos, it seems vulgarity is in fashion.

Sam Bailey is a powerful singer but has far more to her voice and connects. I don't think Christina does

SamB sings it straight; CM warbles or screeches off in all sorts of directions with unnecessary vocal gymnastics.

I thought Christina's vocal in TPOL was the best this series.

Couple of points:

Being pretty much all-in on Sally, I`ve been closely watching for signs of her being TCO. When there were no clear signs, I lazily assumed Christina was TCO. Yesterday, fll suggested not, and I realised he was right, there is no obvious TCO

I`d be amazed if less than 90% of the voters (as opposed to viewers),  know Sally`s song.

I`ve got a mouthful of implants, what do you want to know?

Can you whistle?

I play a few instruments and, when I was young, my band released 7 singles (total sales of about 217, nearly all to my Mum!), but I can`t whistle. Or sing.

You been on the wacky backy again tim?

Re Christina,I think she's similar in singing style to Leanne Mitchell, but far better.Against that she's far less likable than Leanne, and faces far stiffer competition than Leanne did in the final.

The bare facts are she leads the latest Tellymix poll quite easily, having never been in the lead before, and leads YouTube views of the latest songs.Whilst we all have differing opinions of how relevant these measures are,I do find it strange that some on here are happy to rule her out of the running. It may turn out that they prove to be correct, and she doesn't win (indeed it's more likely she loses rather than wins) but to write her chances off because of a singing style that isn't liked by the majority on here (me included) and a questionable personality is IMO dangerous, given other measures are telling us she's a viable contender.

As much as the Joni Mitchell song is perfect for Sally's style,I do have a doubt about whether the majority of the audience will know it,and therefore connect with it.

I'd be surprised if more than 2 or 3% of the audience will know it

Well, I disagreed with your first post, hemsby, and spluttered into my tea when I read fll`s follow-up. I don`t think I`ve ever disagreed with him as much. It`s an absolute standard, which 90%+ of the actual voters will know. You lot all know it, why wouldn`t the GBP?

Tim although I think Sally will do a great job with Both Sides Now I really think Christina's songs are vastly better known.

It's very late 60s in style whilst Christina's are very modern.

Dear Darlin' is modern and popular though.

joni mitchell has been hidden from the masses but was brilliant

it seems an almost perfect choice except perhaps to joni mitchell fans ,

and i doubt many watch the voice

i bet sally has sung it a million times ......

ps I'm not writing CM off at all, she's just the total opposite to everything I like musically (and personality) although that probably bodes well to her succeeding in this.

Tbf looking at it from a music industry POV I think they are 4 desperately poor finalists.  I appreciate Sally as an engaging singer, but the others are just bland.

On the other hand its easily the best quality final we have had on the voice and better than most XF finals.

My first time betting on The Voice and I agree with most of your thoughts about CM.
Can't decide if I'd be best to lay of my stake on Sally and have a free green on her or let it run!
Any way Good luck!

Money in market seems to be favouring Sally so I'm guessing she goes goes odds on at some point. My green is nearly £2k as I forgot about top coach bets which are the same thing as o/r now.
