Advantage Jamie for sure.
I suspect it's been discussed before but I was astonished at the reaction on gogglebox to Lee's cover of Careless Whisper.
If representative it shows just how conservative most viewers are when it comes to music.

Yes, looks good for Jamie atm.

Although I suspect the average viewer doesn't like "classics" being butchered but may be a tad more open to a decent but average, maybe slightly naff track being changed into something pretty good.

And with something more obscure a decent performance on a TV show can bring it into the mainstream.

I think Sally could do well with the London Grammar track (it's very Judy Tzuke really).  With Lee I can imagine it being too dark and not really going anywhere.

I see last year it was an even split with two of the "saved by their coach" acts progressing (Leah and Andrea) and two of those who won the vote progressing, Mike and Matt at the expense of Joseph and Ash (both fuglies).

I guess last week the jazzy/quirky girl vote (if there is such a thing) was split and won't be this week and vice versa for the black "old soul" vote.

8/1 or 7/1 Chris does seem too big.I don't think Smile is a good choice either, but Christina again didn't come over too well on the spin off show, and if she changes up Bang Bang it could backfire.I don't think Chris is especially appealing also though.

I can see them singing away to Smile on gogglebox. I think it's a good choice. I agree that neither are particularly appealing tho. I'm amazed Christina is so short in the OR

Not a great song for Christina and hardly a great fit with the Saturday audience. Thought she came across slightly better tonight but in my mind the seed has been been sewn, if DS and we are discussing it something will have twigged in the Saturday nights audience minds. might have a little nibble at Chris in the head to head this show does throw up the shocks.

Sally - The Whole of the Moon
Bizzi - something by George Benson which I didn't catch.  Possibly not one of his main hits.

Georgia so much better singing Money on My Mind like that rather than with all the backing dancers and imagery.

Mmm not sure about Sally's choice.  Loads of covers on youtube but they are all a bit meh for me. Still if any one can pull it off its Sally.
By:

When: 27 Mar 14 22:42
I think those song choices give Sophie a chance of beating Jermain.
