song choices for Sophie and Jermain as above.

Sophie sounds great.

Not sure about the short excerpt we heard of Jermain.

bit disappointed with most of them tbf

not sure i was keen on that slowed-down version of Whole of the Moon.

Liked what we heard of Sophie earlier best so far.

Rich O not sure about Sophie's appeal to voters either (altho she did win a vote last week).

Likes Sally and Jermain.

AA likes Christina.

After listening to Sally tonight, I think she can get away with the song, but not strengthen her popularity, but Sally's  biggest appeal to me as a bet, is the fact that no one is coming out the pack.

Loved what I heard of sally. Hints that christina delivers vocal fireworks. A wow moment? Worry re sally is that she could look one paced from now on in.

Gogglebox best show on the telly. Along with The Chase {I'm applying to go on it I think}. Disappointed they didn't give us the Sally zeitgeist though.

Henry, we were ALL watching Gogglebox, bets lined up, ready to `submit`, fastest singer first. Very disappointing, first week ever with no clues.

Anyone else enjoying `First Dates`? Utterly cringe-inducing at times, but great viewing.

much preferred the first series.

As with everything, after the first series they become too "aware".

Plus from TPTB POV it becomes all about pushing to so-called "characters" rather than the more ordinary people.

Thought the paler of the B'ton guys was absolutely hilarious on G'box last night.

And noticed even dear old Mr Siddiqi covers himself with a cushion these days.

Yeah First Dates fan here. My favourite was that dirrrrrty 45 year old female cop cougar who made it quite plain she wanted to shag the young stud....and did.

As squares said, First dates lot seem too aware now and playing it up

Surprisingly the Gogglebox lot still seem pretty much relaxed about the whole thing

Up to 3 songs. So suggests someone might not get to do a 3rd song.

Jermain - Wrecking Ball (awful choice), plus a duet (not sure if they said what it is) a previous song ( I think they said what it was)

The Voice UK 2014

The first song choices for this weekend’s Voice UK final have been revealed.

This weekend the remaining four contestants will be going head to head in a bid to be crowned winner of The Voice UK 2014.

Each artist will first perform a solo track as well as a duet with their mentor before the vote freezes. The act with the fewest votes will then leave in fourth place before the final three go on to perform one last time, reprising a favourite song from the series.

This evening saw the first song choices revealed as Will.i.am and his finalist Jermain Jackman teased what they had planned for the final.

Jermain will be singing Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus for his first solo song and for his favourite song, he said: “This song really meant a lot to me, it was the first time I sang publicly, as I used to be a shower singer.

I'm pretty look warm towards Jermain's choice, not really the voters that he should be targeting.

I doubt we will hear his 3rd song. An awful choice of song for him which didn't sound great on the ITT show

It's a busy week for the four finalists, their superstar coaches and The Voice team as we gear up for the LIVE FINALS on Saturday. As well as rehearsing, Christina, Sally, Jermain and Jamie will be appearing on various other TV shows throughout week...

On Wednesday they will be singing live on The One Show...

On Thursday they will be up early to appear on BBC Breakfast on BBC1...

On Friday the acts will be up early again (!) and chatting with Nick Grimshaw AND their coaches on Grimmy's breakfast show on Radio 1...

We hope they manage to fit in some early nights!

PLUS Ricky will be with Chris Evans on his breakfast show on BBC Radio 2, chatting about his experience of being a coach on The Voice and also performing with his band, The Kaiser Chiefs.

Here's an interesting one:

TVPolls final poll

Who do you want to Win The Voice 2013?

ANDREA BEGLEY (Team Danny)     18% ████████████████
LEAH MCFALL (Team will.i.am)     44% ███████████████████████████████████████████
MIKE WARD (Team Tom)             30% ██████████████████████████████
MATT HENRY (Team Jessie)     8%  ████████

Andrea was also the "LEAST Favourite Act" (oddly, as she beat Matt above).

Still the best poll we had. It shows how cr@p polls are in this short format
fwiw I don't even buy into the idea that Christina is TCO. Why give her that cr@p song last week if she was.
I suspect they wanted Sophie in the final and would have pushed her if she'd made it through.

I have Christina a poor fourth but struggle to believe it. It will all be about the night itself and then motivation to vote. Christina is her own worst enemy. Im seeing signs of sally's bubble bursting but she has a big loyal core vote. Interesting one to call.

It wouldn't amaze me if she was 1st out. Though Jermain looks destined for that position with the song they've given him
