http://kworb.net/popuk/ Cider posted it upthread its a site that collates downloads. The topline figures are the hours since the latest update. Showing at present James 100.00 as the mean then Justice at 87.50 so for every 100 James sales Justice is selling 87.5.

It's always worth mentioning that only The Official Chart Co figures are in any way ratified, everything else, whilst may be of use, could be manipulated for a number of reasons...

Echo the other day had a person from HMV shop in liverpool ONE saying they had ordered 12000. More than anything else they had ever ordered in that shop.

My own view as a regular chart watcher who understands the Itunes chart is that, the Hillsborough song is now losing ground fast and looks likely to continue to do so. The key issue is whether or not the physical copies sold in store will make up for the shortfall on downloads. A lot of people think that Saturday will be a big sales day for the physical, but I see James as likely to benefit from this Saturday shopping to an extent too. The fly in the ointment is exposure. Everyone knows James has a single out, does everyone know the other record is out? Some viral marketing got "You'll Never Walk Alone" to Itunes #1 earlier and something like that sent to all football club fans could be a killer blow.
I'd be really interested to see a physicals vs downloads breakdown in tomorrow's midweeks which should be available. I think this could go down to the wire though, anything less than 20k or so could probably be overturned on Saturday - if the difference is more by then, I reckon it's game over. |

I came across a New Year special I did on X Factor winner to have Christmas Number One at 6/1. Would have seemed like a rubbish bet last week, not so sure now! Every little helps...
Certainly makes what we thought was a dull no-contest much more interesting. |

Today is D-Day for the Justice campaign, with the original inquest likely to be quashed. So I would expect a spike in sales today and tomorrow with the increased publicity.
