In the days of physical sales and people visiting shops such as mine, in addition to sattistical info, I had a great "feel" for what was happening, add the lack of that, to download central, my marginal knowledge is slender, good luck whatever you do A

Drift on Hillsborough. Just got on at 1.39
![]() |
By:
1.4 available now
By:
Dunno whether to get involved
I even managed to c0ck up the insanely good RATM market in the end and won about a fiver |
By:
Having piled in on Hillsborough at 10/11 and 8/11, it's only sensible to cover off the stake with James at 9/2.
By:
Victor have paid out on Hillsborough No1
By:
Money coming in for James Arthur apparently. Into 5/2 from 5/1 at Billies.
By:
Cut across the board. Now best priced 11/4, short as 2/1.
By:
told by a manager at hmv that its close
By:
I always said it was a good performance. I think only me and GB liked it
By:
I think the single is actually OK when you hear it on the radio, but I still hate the live performance of it in the final.
By:
I've not heard it yet. I thought the song was a good choice tho

Not feeling so chuffed with my 1.39 now

The panic seems to be due to TJC released on Monday. James had a day headstart
By:
a days head start may make all the difference if it is close. The JC, I hadn't realised isn't on a major label (although a major is distributing it).
What seems to have happened in the past is that when the midweeks get "published" at 1030 tomorrow, the market moves in the correct direction very quickly. A |
By:
The midweek chart is after two day's sales? So TJC will only include one full day's sales.
What has the market moved on today then, iyo? James still selling well? Sorry for all the questions! |
By:
yes
James sales still good, probably 250,000 this week, speculation I think, I have no good info one way or the other on TJC |
By:
Off the top of your head, do you remember the LM figures vs MV last year?
By:
I'll answer my own question - but useful to have as reference:
Wherever You Are sold 556,000 copies in the last week, more than the rest of the top 12 combined. Little Mix, at number two, sold 117,000 records across the week. |
By:
That was Military Wives of course (MW not MV!).

I didn't hear much comment from other clubs that played the song at half time
Not hearing much about it on the news because of the shootings in the USA |
By:
Oh dear sweet baby jeebus...£1 fish man? Thankfully don't think they're actually buying it.

By:
I managed to lay back at 1.37 overnight. It was never my intention but I never expected James to sell so well. I'm green and happy with that. I've got a bad feeling about the JC. Not enough to bet James but I'm happy to be out of it until more information is available.
By:
It's certainly no Military Wives. The campaign for this single has been incredibly low-key for a Christmas Number One attempt.

£1 fish man is brilliant,

By:

1. 75735 (-59.7%) - JAMES ARTHUR 2. 72383 (NEW) - JUSTICE COLLECTIVE I can't..... |
By:

By:

By:
