people can slag off XF but as a money making/celebrity generating machine it has a pretty good record. leona Lewis the stand out but then 1D being talked about as the first $bn band. JLS. Olly. etc etc.

if I was to have a speculative punt I would rather go with Christopher Maloney, his shaky nervous act has been shown to be a bit of a sham, but with the right lies(I quit the cruse ship because I got to much negativity in my direction from my boss, or some other credible lie) he could put a run together, most spoilers have him in the live shows and his recording from boot camp is better than expected 25/1 looks better than james arther at 25/1

X Factor bootcamp preview: Jade Ellis cries, Jahmene Douglas messes up, Gary Barlow gets nasty & Rylan Clark impales Dermot O’Leary September 18th, 2012 by Lisa McGarry. The X Factor bootcamp was filmed all the way back in July of this year and finally (!) we will get to see the best and worst moments of the event this weekend. More than 100 singers who tried out for the judges all around the country were invited to Liverpool, where they were set a series of challenges and whittled down to just 24 who went on to judges houses. It seems that some of the series front runners ran into problems when they got up to Scouse land though and in the video preview below, stunning singer Jade Ellis is seen breaking down in tears after she comes of stage. Jahmene Douglas may not have cried, but he doesnt look too pleased with himself either. As he sang in Echo Arena for the panel, Gary Barlow put his hand up to stop the song and afterwards the crestfallen hopeful said: “I’ve just come off feeling like I’ve completely let them down.” Speaking of Gary, it seems he is filling Simon Cowell’s shoes nicely and he wasn’t backwards about coming forwards during his critique of the acts. He blasted one group saying: “Did anyone consider actually singing the melody of the song?” And when another hopeful begged to be given a second chance he insisted: “No we don’t want to hear that again.” It’s Dermot O’Leary we feel sorry for though. He was waiting off the wings to congratulate Rylan Clark after his performance seemingly went well. The model was wearing a dangerous looking black jacket, the shoulders of which were covered in metal spikes. Poor Dermy got those spikes in his face when he was gripped for a rather enthusiastic hug! It looked very painful indeed! The X Factor bootcamp shows will air this Saturday and Sunday night on ITV1. Are you excited? Tbf most of the leading contenders have come complete with back story.If you haven't got one,then playing the old "I'm very nervous" card is a regular trick.No doubt he's been told by the Prods to ham it up,but it's verging on the ridiculous.
So far we've had dead relatives,failed relationships,IVF difficulties,single parenthood,criminal connections,homelessness,last chance saloons,band members ejected......and we're not even close to the lives yet.I dread to think what awaits us. A FARM worker has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a miniature donkey called Doodle. Carlos Romero, 31, was allegedly caught romping with the 21-month-old animal in a barn that doubles up as his bedroom. The farm's tenant claims he saw him with his trousers down, shirt off and "up against the rear of the donkey". Romero was nicked on suspicion of sexual activity with an animal and animal cruelty. He denies having full sex with Doodle in Ocala, Florida — claiming he was waiting for her to "bloom into maturity". But he admitted liking "the way the fur feels” against his skin and that the donkey aroused him. Romero, who called others backwards for frowning on zoophilia, also told officers that his DNA may have “accidentally” ended up inside the animal. He was arrested on September 17 and is being held in the Marion County jail. |

X FACTOR bosses are planning a radical shake-up of the live shows in a bid to win viewers – and stave off the challenge from Strictly Come Dancing.
Last year’s sudden-death elimination, in which the four judges were forced to axe one of their acts without a public vote, has been ditched. It was billed as the “biggest twist in X Factor’s history” but has been binned after proving unpopular. Instead, the judges will take only three contestants each into the live shows, which kick off on October 6. Bosses of the show — created by Simon Cowell — are also hoping to spice up the live performances with American singer Ne-Yo and former winner Leona Lewis the first confirmed acts. Creative director Brian Friedman flies to the UK next week to plan the shows — and has big ideas. An insider said: “Producers know they are under pressure to make the live shows even better than last year. “Brian is taking personal control of things and is determined to pull everything out of the bag. The sudden death elimination stunt won’t happen this year after viewers complained it was too harsh. “Having fewer finalists from the start also means viewers will get to know those who are left much better and hopefully build bonds with them. Other twists haven’t been ruled out, though.” Last year, Amelia Lily, 2 Shoes, Jonjo Kerr and James Michael were all kicked off by the judges at the end of the first live show. But Amelia, whose debut single You Bring Me Joy charted at No2 on Sunday, was voted back on the show to replace disgraced Frankie Cocozza. Bosses are putting the effort into this year’s live episodes after the show’s ratings averaged just 7.9million on September 9 — its lowest for five years. It has since perked up, scoring 8.6million on Saturday and 9.7million on Sunday. But it was still beaten in the peak ratings by Strictly’s first show. The X Factor 2012 final 12 have been chosen, and they’ve been busy preparing for the live shows this week in London.
The X Factor judges spent last last month deciding which of the acts in each of their categories would be going through to the final sages of the show. Show bosses are keen to make sure that they won’t be revealed before the show airs, secretly transporting them to London this week to kick off preparations. There will no doubt be the usual makeovers, and of course plenty of filming. Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack revealed yesterday on Twitter: “Off to interview secret people at a secret place. Shhhhh.” Meanwhile, perhaps in a swipe against Frankie Cocozza, Gary BarlowGary BarlowGary Barlow said he had a “lovely bunch” of acts in his category this year. He tweeted: “Been routining with my X factor lovelies all afternoon. What a lovely bunch I have this year ! #tooexciting [sic]” The Take That star is rumoured to have the Overs category, who have been notoriously unsuccessful in the show’s nine year history. However this year Gary has acts such as Christopher Maloney, Melanie Masson and Carolynne Poole to choose from… but will any of them make it through to the live shows? We’ll find out when the X Factor judges’ houses air on September 29 and 30 on ITV1 and the X Factor final 24 are revealed! The bootcamp double bill airs this Saturday and Sunday. The mother of one revealed this week she was a lesbian, and admitted coming out has been tough for her. The 25-year-old said: “As I’ve suffered from depression in the past, my mum worries. Depression is really hard to deal with but I’m lucky that I’ve got a really good support network. “I think I’ve had it since I was nine, but I’ve been able to get back on top of things.” Speaking about coming out to her family and friends, Jade explained: “I’ve always known that I like girls and I knew I was not going to be with [my daughter]‘s father.” The bike shop worker, who wowed the judges on Saturday night’s show, said: “Living in South East London, where I’m from, can be hard, and I have experience negative comments and people shouting Lesbian in front of my daughter.” Opening up, Jade added: “I was bullied a huge amount at school. People would sharpen their pencils and stab me with them.” The young singer won over Tulisa during her audition with her fighting spirit. Robbie Hance was apparently a bit of a trouble maker at X Factor bootcamp, it has been reported.
The homeless singer was featured on Saturday’s episode of the ITV show and was seen impressing the panel with his impassioned rendition of Damien Rice’s ‘Coconut Skins’. The judges raved about his talent but seemed more focussed on the fact that he was homeless at the time and living on the streets of London. After his performance Louis Walsh said: ‘Robbie I think you are a very talented guy but I don’t think you have had a break in life and I think you absolutely deserve that.’ The judges all voted yes and sent Robbie through to bootcamp but apparently things didn’t go too smoothly when he got there. During one part of the process, he was grouped with fellow hopefuls Jake Quickenden and Adam Burridge and the trio were told to prepare a song to sing for the panel. However in scenes to be aired on this Saturday’s show, while Adam and Jake practiced and rehearsed, Robbie decided he’d rather have a kip and he slept on a sofa backstage. Jake wasn’t amused and has since told The Daily Star: “We started noticing weird things and we started thinking he might be a bit of a loose cannon.” Adam didn’t enjoy working with him either and blasted the singer calling him a ‘knobhead’ and adding: “He was a bit paranoid and he was a bit rude to a few people.” The lack of rehearsal time showed in the trio’s performance and Gary Barlow slated their song, resulting in Robbie storming off the stage and out of bootcamp. It has been claimed that staff have not seen him since. Meanwhile, as we prepare for the bootcamp and judges houses episodes of the show to air over the next two weekends, Unreality TV have put together out predictions for his year’s X Factor final 24.
