it will be interesting to see if he has a serial killer makeover (like Grimshaw) or a cute and cuddly one.

Difficult to see how a makeover could make him less appealing. I predict an orange onesie and a teddy bear

James is about the only one apart from Ella with a distinctive (but non irritating) voice

Union J now quoted by some books around 25s still.

Look a much better price than GMD3 at about half that.

Maybe, but one of those is gonna get the early chop. Clearly they are better singers, but every chance that the slightly younger kids might appeal more in the vote

At least Union J will have a bit of a story about them - gives them a better chance of surviving the first few weeks, although might need a decent slot to be sure.

GMD3 could be a decent first elim price.

I don't think adding to Triple J is gonna help them tbh. And GMD3 surely safe early on with dross like Melanie, Jade and Mk1 around

Mk1 clearly refers to their %age

George Shelley seemed a likeable young lad tho.  If a big fuss is made of TJ/UJ and him returning this weekend it could help them appeal more than GMD3.

We saw lots of GMD3 v TJ footage and for me TJ wiped the floor with GMD3 every time regardless of what the tone-deaf judges said.

Should have called themselves Minus One after the accountant type got booted out.

Have it on good authority via the Newmarket jungle drums that Triple J (now Union J) make the final 12 so worth a speculative punt at 25/1 or bigger...

By the way, Lily Allen meets George Formby is the best description I've heard this series so far!! Laugh

Missed that one - definitely sounded like a GBism! Grin  I said to my missus she was just a Kate Nash wannabe... The proverbial one trick pony.

Ha, ha, nice one...  There have been some very good back to lays already this year. Will the BF market be up straight after next weekend's shows?

Far too many, all to take a view on here when market opens.  I swore I would not back any until the lives this year, but got sucked in as usual.  At least all those backed are in the final 24 - so far, so good.

It's a very poor year - and I would share your sense of foreboding if it were not for a very confident early position on Ella.  Thankfully I ignored some of the mischief making on here and topped up again over the weekend.  Missed the 10s with Lads though - that obviously didn't last long...

Foreboding has gone mate. None needed with some 7/1 on Ella fortunately. I'd have been well hacked off if I'd got nothing on and have been fortunate. I'd have taken the BF prices, whatever miniscule figure they are

Classic quote from a forum just now. People just still don't get it Laugh.  Refers to Nicole picking Rylan.
'I don't see why she's put him through like if she hates him' Crazy

Crazy prices on Ella already - now a general 9/4 or 5/2.  I seem to remember Little Mix being that price ten days before the final, not ten weeks!

He is a desperately poor novelty act like, we've had infinitely better. Maybe they've taken the view that novelty acts become hard to shift so they want one everyone hates

Crazy prices look generous to me  Wink

Bookies all too scared nowadays. James halved in price just from 30 seconds on Saturday and just one or two of us trying to get on

It's getting ridiculous. It only take a small hedging bet to shift the market.
