****ing awful songs for just about everyone. Perhaps except the stinky hippies

By:

If maiaze is about I'm sure he'll remember this great version of 'Get here'

By:
aye, good for the old hippies.
A lay for elim if all of these are true |
By:
really surprised Frances gone for that song too , no upside in songs like that . Jaz and Ruth both pretty obvious , Joelle has sung MJB stuff before on you tube, someone said on twitter the other day that Adam more into the rock music so expect he might surprise a bit with his FF song, but all a bit of a let down really.

link for you FLL

Really shocking 'choices'. There's soem decent Mary J Blige songs, but that is chronic
By:
some
By:
Ridiculously safe for Ruth but at least the audience will know it
By:
Cheers wd.
By:
I'm sure Ruth will give it more welly.
I think it's a good choice for her for this type of audience |
By:
FRances isn't too bad either. At least the audience will know it. Just an odd choice
By:
A Little Respect - camp cheese, well-known sing-a-long stuff tho.
Go Your Own Way - if they do it well, could be an inspired choice. Who Knew - hit or miss type of choice. Could have chosen much better. All My Life - really bland rock song that goes nowhere. Could have done something much better and much more well known along similar lines. Get Here - shouldn't cause any problems. Assume a "classier" look for Ruth rather than The Flintstones meets the Hair Bear Bunch. |
By:
Good song for Ruth IMO but she was safe as houses this week anyway.
Adam may do a great job but is Foo Fighters good for a BBC 7om audience? Good for Leanne as Pink is so non descript in her singing that it is not hard to 'make it your own'. had to look up the Guetta song and if sung well Sophie should be ok but hardly a great song. Joelle doing exactly what we expected her too which can only be good for us hoping for her to go! |
By:
Little Respect will go down well on the south coast
By:
It would be good if that's the order too..
By:
I thought it would just be me and Lou who had never heard the Guetta song, seeing as it has 53M views.
Good to see we're not alone HF ![]() |
By:
I'm Going Down - generic nondescript dirge.
Titanium - should suit vocally, maybe a tad current/high energy for the oldsters watching/voting. At Last - done to death, like Get Here probably perfect for the core voters. Ain't Nobody - very hard song to get right. Think it may have been done embarrassingly badly on a talent show in the past? However, if she did make a good job of it . . . Higher Love - hit or miss choice. Could be surprisingly good. |

I'd also have those with the lowest votes shot

"Titanium - should suit vocally, maybe a tad current/high energy for the oldsters watching/voting."
that'll be FLL and HF then ![]() |

By:
LOL squares.
By:
That will be about 66% of the audience I suspect.
I have a hunch that the audience is older than the XF. No figures to back it up tho. Don't they often give a break down of age groups watching? I guess only if you pay a Barb membership. |
By:
I'm certain you are right. I might have a daft few quid on the hippies
By:
I'm warming to Fanny Woo's choice.
It could be inspired ![]() |
By:
This always happens, you Fanny
By:
I also suspect more ABC'ers, rather than the Jeremy Kyle crowd watching themselves on XF and BGT
By:
don't listen to Chris Hide's version from Pop Idol
![]() |
By:
And I'm sometimes right GB

By:
It's designed for the Jools Holland audience too. Awful middle class bellends who like a nice horn section
By:
The KT Tunstall version rather good.

Ain't nobody ain't a bad song. I'm struggling to see anything much good in her doing it though
