Only just got to this thread - sorry!
Can I say to thomas2 "I've only to see you and my heart beats like a drum" Some other great ones mentioned, "Land of Make Believe" is mustard "I have a friend who comes to tea, who no-one else can see but me, he came to stay but had to go, to visit you, you never know!" "All Out of Love" is one of the great love songs. I'll throw a few in the mix Hazel O'Connor "Eighth Day" Pointer Sisters "Jump" Black Sabbath "Paranoid" Carter USM "Sheriff Fatman" By the way, someone was actually whistling "Son of my Father" at work today!! |

A pub I sometimes used to frequent, 'The Mucky Duck', always had a great jukebox full of Zepplin etc, many a happy afternoon spent in there, when you could hear what people were saying.

It had wooden floorboards, and tables made from old sewing machines.
All the local 'characters' used to get in , in the afternoons. Always came out laughing. Great days...... Asked someone recently if it was still the same, it is apparently, which was very good to hear. |
