Which school allowed her to visit and brainwash students with her propaganda?
I hope the head teacher is facing a disciplinary hearing.

D-Day

Starmer has to face his cabinet this morning. Shabana will not mince her words.

It's now or never for Streeting.

With a full house at the Cabinet Meeting I think Sir Shameless is as good as gone. A postponement is only extending the inevitable given the dire local election results last week; his incompetence in the job is glaringly obvious. A postponement is just not an option.

I'm absolutely astounded he's staying put to soldier on. A challenge is inevitable. More embarrassment for Sir Shameless and the Labour Party.

The music is over Sir Shameless!

Getting ridiculous now. Hanging on for a challenge... He has zero authority, he is a lame duck.

No they don't. Those people either left or were removed a while back.

I'd argue that not wanting my country to be a dog on a leash to a dysfunctional United States makes me more pro-British than you, but I digress.

only me, a big fan of Truss and a big believer in her ideology, know the truth of why she was beaten by a lettuce, and only me, someone who hates Rayner and her ideology with my very core, knows more than - checks notes - HMRC - about why they've covered something up.

I was correcting you factually yesterday. Politically Truss didn't stand a chance as a big portion of her own side didn't want her, let alone naturally, the opposition. Plus, as I covered, didn't win a general election. Labour were quite happy with Sunak as interim caretaker as it was a continuation of the uni party.

I stated ages ago that they would let the red queen off. Yes, right again.

I don't know why you think these are conspiracies. I would have bet any amount with anyone that the red queen would be let off.

I have been exonerated by HMRC of the accusation that I deliberately sought to avoid tax.

When purchasing a home of my own with a mortgage, I did not own any other property and had no personal financial interest in the court-instructed trust set up to manage my son’s financial award. I was advised by experts that I should pay stamp duty at the standard rate.

I set out to pay the correct amount of tax. I took reasonable care and acted in good faith, based on the expert advice I received, and HMRC has accepted this.

I have always sought to act with integrity, and I believe politicians should be held to high standards - that is why I resigned from government and cooperated fully with HMRC.

I wanted to ensure that I paid every penny that I owed, and have done so. I am relieved that my family can now move on - and that I can get on with my job.

It looks like Rayner will be throwing her hat in the ring

Secondly, my own view is that as a government they haven't done bad on the big things. Uk has got back to #5 biggest economy recently. Immigration (both legal and illegal) is way down on what they inherited. NHS is fairing far far better under them. Problem for this lot is mostly Starmer's inability to spread that message so that there is a sense of gloom still. Obviously a long way to go but they've been in less than two years and took over a burning clown car, so I think they've done alright. The usual numpties who think youtube is their world will obviously disagree but they always would. Starmer's clearly done but behind him there seems to be a group who are quietly getting things done. Get a decent PM who has a bit of charisma and can deliver a message, then Labour could be reset.

The economy grew by 0.3% in March, the ONS data also shows.

It’s the first full month after the outbreak of the Iran war – on 28 February – that’s covered by the figures.

Economists had expected it to shrink by 0.1 or 0.2%.

Surely no one is claiming the economy is doing great.

It's almost like, an overnight spike in the cost of petrol and diesel at the pump would cause the size of the economy to nudge up.

(we'll forget about the inflation that will follow it, too inconvenient).
