"Boris did more for this country than any PM since Churchill."

what did he do for this country?

apart from highest tax rate since 1947,
40 imaginary hospitals,
£37billion on an app,
lockdowns,
getting all the I.T. in downing street installed by a Russian company,
£350 phuckin K on hall wallpaper,
getting a huge majority against the dumbest phuck the labour insane party could find as their leader.
etc. etc.

what good did he do for this country?
if he's the greatest pm as you say, then your list of his great contributions to the UK will be huge.

9 out of 10 dentists not accepting NHS patients,
14 hour wait for ambulances

well done Boris

Got Brexit done.

All the other stuff a consequence of him being railroaded into lockdowns.

he didn't even get brexit done, it was Theresa May who triggered article 50, we were exiting the EU on Jan 31st 2020 regardless of what ever numpty was PM.

Boris didn't get brexit done, the UK was leaving with or without him.

Someone has forgotten what actually happened the last year of May's regime with May trying to force through alignment with EU on goods and Parliament dividded and nothing happening. People like Starmer calling for a second referendum etc.

Boris came in and got a Brexit deal through Parliament and was ready to unleash the UK... then 'Covid' hit.

Theresa May got brexit done, boris just sat in the drivers seat as the UK crashed out.

Mrs May deal was to stay in the single market and protect the Union,Boris, the dup and erg went for their version which was a Singapore on Thames type deal, regulations down the toilet, suit the moneyed and hit the ordinary person.

The EU didn't want Mays deal which had the benefit of SM and paying nothing.

You got Boris's version and here you are, people less well off, highest taxes since 1947,services gone to pot,the Scots unhappy.

Your benchmark now re the two versions is Northern Ireland.

May's deal meant following EU rules with no say.

It was absurd.

Parliament knew this. The British public who voted for her to lose the Tory majority knew this.

Boris got Brexit done. He got an 80 seat majority for his deal.

Ultimately the British public decided to not follow the rules/laws of the unelected Brussels bureacrats.

You did get the single market though with May, hassle free exports,no payment to the EU,cheaper produce for people,no change or protocol in NI.

Ask why the UK wants to diverge from EU standards(which the UK made a lot of them, themselves)?

It was to do away primarily with financial rules, the dirty money would have a haven,it will also do away with food standard rules, employment rules. In fact 'they' can do what they like, you honestly think it will be 'cricket'?

It won't,nothing is left after covid and fuel and these rule book changes will be a blessing in the downward spiral, you cannot compete which is reflected in exports.

Boris didn't comprehend the Brexit deal at all. That is why SME are fcuked exporting to the EU.

We haven't got control of our borders either. Any fcuker can land on the beach in Dover and never be sent back.

If Boris is the greatest anything since Churchill it's the greatest w4nker

Brexit is done and dusted for many, many months now. Even the dreaded deadly Covid has come and gone courtesy of vaccinations. Thus why dig up old "arguments" again? If bored, engage in positive discussions about the impending heatwave; just let go and allow Brexit to decide its own fate or level guided by the learned professionals selected for the tasks.

Empty vessels make the most noise!!

It's just one of those things that tends to tag on as a result of a lack of urgency. It was in the in-tray awaiting attention. Many decades within the EU thus what's the significance of a few months given Covid pandemic and geopolitical climate in Ukraine aided and abetted by EU incompetence?

The EU is a non-entity, just a pension pot for the self-serving gravy-trainers.

A bit like the House of Lords then?

Incidentally there are 775 in the House of Lords (100 appointed by Johnson) and just 705 in the European Parliament.

What's it like to have your whole argument fall apart?

Stop moving the discussion goalpost. Brexit is about leaving the EU - the cesspit of cronyism and incompetence. We got out of the EU because the EU was taking the mickey; making self-serving policies to suit; putting cronyism before productivity, growth and direction.

What has Poland/Bulgaria done for the EU? What has Ukraine done to deserve non-admittance to EU but invasion by Putin Russia aided and abetted by EU? Why has the EU knowingly contributed hugely to the economic and military might of Putin Russia? Yet no one from the EU has been held to account for this catastrophe and miseries heaped upon the Ukrainians.

I honestly believe the EU need to finally compensate for their incompetence towards the Ukrainian people. Maybe the Brexit divorce bill ought to head towards Ukraine rather than fattening up Poland/Bulgaria even more or the pockets of EU bureaucrats and past-in politicians holding high offices thro cronyism (not ability).

You brought up gravy-trainers not me. I just pointed out we have far more gravy-trainers than the EU.

What's the best thing about being an EU member state? What benefit would be at the top of your list?

Boris Johnson "hounded" himself out of office.  Utterly inept - and he always was.  He couldn;t tell the truth to save his life. A con-man, and chancer of the first order.  It would not surprise me if the Tories have him back at some future point either so brainwashed are they.

Boris will be divorced inside 5 years.

Once he starts gallivanting around the world giving speeches about how he defeated the EU and how he saved Kyiv and gave Putin a bloody nose the fat tw4t won't be able to help himself.

I asked for one (obviously). Even if we were in the EU, we wouldn't have the EUR as our currency. Having to have the same monetary policy as twenty odd other countries is not a good thing.

See when you break it down, the EU is just a protection racket. Like the people who come into your shop armed with baseball bats and offer you insurance.

The EU is a cartel just like the Columbian clan. The only major differences being the EU are more open; accepted as legit; discreet with rewarding cronyism but just as sh1t eg Von de leyen and Macron - the two Putin stooges/cronies. I'd not be surprised if Macron ends up in Russia eventually; Von de leyen will probably disappear into obscurity with no recognisable positive policy/contribution post her reign.

I firmly believe when the present minnow members eg Poland, Bulgaria, Czech Rep, etc, are asked to "contribute" financially to the EU coffer in the future they'll initiate a divorce or renounce membership to the EU. These members are in the EU for financial gain, benefits and freedom of travel.

Everyone and their cat knows that the Tory Party will never allow Liz Truss to fight a General Election.

So how are they going to get a new leader?
