If I say no, are you going to follow me around every thread and be super abusive towards me?

edy

I still wonder to know how pp knows that when he has had you blocked since forever btw.

I can't believe he just completely and utterly makes things up like that about fellow forumites for...giggles? I mean, we'd all see it if you followed him around every post, every thread being abusive, but I don't remember even a single incident of you doing that. It's very shameless of him.

no but i might report you for racism
By:

When: 25 Sep 21 02:04
I never ever post any racism. Not even casual. I save that for twitter. Betfair might remove your posting privileges if you do unwarranted mass reports for racism that isn't there.

Do you want to reconsider your latest answer?

That SaMeBe guy from the tennis subforum might tell you I have done some casual misoginy every now and again in an earlier life, but I am changed human. Trudeau taught me to respect all of peoplekind equally.

The AfD is quite extreme btw.

They have that one guy in their entire party front line, Meuthen. He is basically their token civil guy that they keep around to look less extreme than they really are.

C'mon, I am crazy (or Fatslogger might possibly call me occasionally eccentric), but I have not completely lost any and all sense to make me a Reichsbürger.

Do you even begin to grasp how crazy they are? They think the federal republic of Germany is some illegal construct (or sometimes a US owned company). That the German Kaiserreich never ceased to exist.

Trump rally in Georgia today. Trump, by trying to define the Republican Party in his own image, is splitting the votes of GOP Republican candidates and together with his continuing claims of industrial fraud in 2020, is actually depressing the Republican turnout. In California recently, after polls suggested it could be a close battle with the Newsom recall vote, Trump claimed that the result was probably rig ged, which led to GOP supporters simply not turning up.

Trump Suffers 20% Plunge In 2024 Election Polls

If that poll is reasonably accurate, Trump is completely busted.

"President Joe Biden also saw a 10% drop in his overall popularity and a 30% drop with likely Independent voters due to the troop pullout from Afghanistan. However, 55% blamed Trump for negotiating with the Taliban during his tenure as the president."

Trump's been ranting repeatedly about Afghanistan in recent weeks - perhaps he may start to realise he's only drawing attention to his own actions in relation to the Taliban.

the Dems will be hoping he hangs around because of the damage he does to the GOP's general election chances

Reading between the lines, looks like a golden opportunity for a non Trump GOP candidate ?

Chump might be a busted flush but worse for the GOP is that they are nominating Chump leaning idiots. They will soon become unelectable just like Labour in the non United Kingdom.

You were absolutely right with your assessment in some other thread about Giuseppe doing a lot of insincere debating too btw, Slogger. That's exactly what I meant in my 1:38 AM post when I talked about him looking to unnerve others.

I think I clocked it last time I was here but forgot. Perils of disappearing for a few months at a time: you forget things like which honcho is which and some of the subtler trolls.

Trump may have bottomed out at 5.2. Would be nice if he does, given some of the prices I’ve laid at.

The big betting event in 2022 is the USA midterm elections held on 8th November. I was just starting to look at them today when I clocked the date. My wife isn't allowed to go anywhere abroad for a year after her transplant (she is doing fine btw) so a couple of weeks ago we booked a Cunard cruise for Madeira, the Canary Islands and Lisbon leaving on...the 30th October 2022. I laughed out loud when I realised that I would miss the main betting event but hey, it never crossed my mind.

In 1993 I booked a fortnight
in canaries whilst the open was on

Couldnt find a TV with it on.

Disaster.

Lol, to make matters worse, even if I wanted to have a bet while in the Canaries (which I won't) I don't think Spain allows you to bet over the internet on Betfair. The last time I was there it was blocked.

Don't think you can bet from
Portugal either,

Had a week there when masters was
on, when tiger won after all
them years.

Loads of bars had it on with
all the golfers on holiday, but
cant remember placing bets.

Can always phone home of course, if
needs must.

I will just have to put on all bets before I go I guess which is a real nuisance from a betting viewpoint as all the main action usually takes place in the two or three days leading up to the event and particularly when the event goes live as all logic goes out the window with many punters.

Will never forget some of the truly insane Trumper bets that I accommodated in the Presidential election state markets, as the first results trickled in from Florida etc.

From experience you can often bet over 4G from (at least some) places that don’t “allow” Betfair but not over WiFi.

Can’t honestly recall how much state betting I did on election night. It was certainly some. I had lots more over the following few weeks for battleground states though, with results increasingly locked in but some disbelief about them, for some reason.
