Try not let the intellectually disadvantaged upset your sublimity. My well meant advice is to make your sound points about the evil that is Trump and leave the damp trumpers to clean their own sadly soiled underwear. |

Come to think of it, if he has laid Biden for a lot, the £2.5K that he has lost so far could be a drop in the ocean.

`...dishonestly posted just a subset of his bets...`
So you didn`t see the word `backs` in my post? Here, have another look, I`ll highlight the relevant word; timbuctooth 09 Aug 20 20:58 `...but if you really want to know, £10,082 of backs in dem nom market |

Yes, in response to being asked to post your bets, not some of your bets. That you left a small clue that you were lying isn’t exactly an excuse. As I say, a dishonest subset, just after a lying answer to how much you had on the market. The hilarious thing is that you’ve carefully posted up chapter and verse showing how dishonest you are, in a gloating post about how you’re proving that you’re not a liar.

Tim the betting forum liar doesn't know when to stop lying. There is another of his posts on the Kenosha thread now where he said if he was caught lying in his posts he would leave the forum. He has been caught lying many times, but he is still here. He lied about that also

Pleased to see you accept I won, but I can`t let the `lies` bit go uncorrected, so you`ve dragged me back in!
If you read the posts, early on pp asks me how much I`ve `bet on The Don`? Then he uses the phrase `bet on` again, referring to backs, never a mention of lays. As an indie for 30-odd years, I`ve only ever known `who`ve you bet on?` to mean `who`ve you backed`, never `who`ve you laid`, that would just be incorrect terminology. Therefore, there`s zero lying involved in posting who I`ve `bet on`, particularly so as I confirmed it was my `backs` in the relevant post. Seeing as we were only discussing `backs`, (except where I specified some lays), I`ve no idea why pp forgot about the lay side of things, but it`s clearly not my fault and, given the full context, there`s not even any `circumstantial` to back up any thoughts that I might have lied. Or even tried to cleverly deceive. |

You’re referring to a totally different conversation about a different market in your first paragraph. Struggling to see how that’s at all relevant.
You were asked how much you had on the Dem Nom market and said you had 10k of backs. That’s clearly not a comprehensive or accurate answer to the question, is it? Okay, it’s possible that this was a misunderstanding and you did qualify that it was backs. Then you were asked to post your bets and you just posted the backs, which was even more misleading. If your argument is that you were just being stupid in not answering the questions you were actually asked then you know what, I buy that as possible. I was already reflecting that it wasn’t obvious what you were gaining out of deliberately lying. I don’t think it makes sense that you were setting up a complicated trap, that’s just too conspiracist. Which brings me to the fact that everything else you said is totally undermined by any confusion being your fault, especially as you never corrected your own errors. If you then throw baseless accusations around of people lying about you because you posted the wrong info, then that’s on you too, isn’t it? Much like the google sends the wrong videos to lefties incident. You can hardly then be surprised that people don’t exactly give you a charitable hearing and jump on any chance to point out that you lied. |

Well, we`re getting there, which is good, but no innocent man accepts even partial blame. All the talk was of `betting on`, ie. backing, as it`s been known since always. I complied, posting my backs, clearly labelled as `my backs`. Zero room for any misunderstanding, no deceit, but pp got it wrong. I understand you and he are generally `against` me, so I do appreciate your confirmation of 95%, but that 5% niggles at a pure soul!

Fox News aired the second part of President Donald Trump’s lengthy interview with Laura Ingraham on Tuesday and it was nearly as wild as the first one.
On Monday, Trump claimed “shadow” people were controlling former Vice President Joe Biden. He said the city of Portland, Oregon had been burning for decades (untrue). And he made unsubstantiated claims about airplanes “completely loaded with thugs” wearing dark uniforms and flying to disrupt the Republican National Convention. In the sequel chat, Trump continued his attacks on Biden, but with a twist. In the past, he has repeatedly ― and without evidence ― claimed that Biden was “mentally shot.” Now, however, Trump claims Biden has a souped-up brain from some kind of drug. And he wants drug tests before the debates as a result: Trump made similar allegations about former secretary of state Hillary Clinton in 2016 and demanded drug tests then, as well. No drug tests were performed. During the interview, Trump insisted he won the 2016 popular vote ― which he lost by nearly 3 million ballots ― because he should’ve received the votes of the libertarian candidate. He also made unsubstantiated allegations of voter fraud in California and New York: Although Trump once ordered a panel to investigate his frequent voter fraud claims, the group disbanded quietly without substantiating his allegations. At another point in the interview, Trump said Democratic governors controlled football and traffic signals. But he stopped mid-sentence to turn to the camera and address someone – exactly who, it was unclear ― and say he wants college football: As a bonus, Trump ― who The Washington Post estimated last month had played golf on at least 237 separate occasions as president ― said he didn’t have time for games: Trump frequently criticized former President Barack Obama for playing golf but has himself now played the game at more than double the rate of his predecessor. A HuffPost analysis earlier this year found that, as of February, Trump’s love of golf had cost taxpayers $133.8 million. |

From the bbc...
US election: Trump tells North Carolina voters to vote twice US President Donald Trump has told people in the state of North Carolina to vote twice in November's election, despite this being illegal. Mr Trump suggested voters vote once in person and a second time by post, in order to stress-test the system. The president has frequently made false claims that postal votes are vulnerable to significant electoral fraud. "Let them send it in and let them go vote," he told North Carolina broadcaster WECT-TV on Wednesday. "And if the system is as good as they say it is then obviously they won't be able to vote (in person)." After President Trump made the comments, North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein tweeted that he had "outrageously encouraged" people in the state to "break the law in order to help him sow chaos in our election". "Make sure you vote, but do not vote twice!" Mr Stein added. "I will do everything in my power to make sure the will of the people is upheld in November." Read more: Does US postal voting lead to ‘tremendous fraud’? Democrats have also accused President Trump and the Republican party of attempting to suppress the vote in order to help their side in the election. President Trump was in Wilmington, North Carolina, to formally designate the city an American World War Two Heritage City. What are Trump's claims - and is there any truth to them? This isn't the first time President Trump has made controversial comments about postal voting. Speaking at the Republican National Convention (RNC) last month, he claimed "there's tremendous fraud involved" with postal voting and that "we have to be very, very careful". But these claims have been strongly and repeatedly debunked by experts. Ellen Weintraub, commissioner of the Federal Election Commission, responded at the time that "there's simply no basis for the conspiracy theory that voting by mail causes fraud". In addition, numerous nationwide and state-level studies over the years have not revealed evidence of major, widespread fraud. In the 2016 US presidential election, nearly one quarter of votes were cast by post, and that number is expected to rise this time round due to public health concerns over coronavirus. Individual US states control their own voting rules for federal elections - and many are looking to increase postal voting to prevent large gatherings at polling stations on election day. A number of states are planning to hold "all-mail" ballot elections this November. The rate of voting fraud overall in the US is between 0.00004% and 0.0009%, according to a 2017 study by the Brennan Center for Justice. |

What sort of country has the USA become that the President is actively encouraging voters to try and illegally vote twice in their general election? How can a situation like this ever have been arrived at? I am 100% certain that our Prime Minister would never dream of suggesting trying to ruin our democracy in this manner. Trump has become a dictator and a very dangerous one at that.

All he is doing by encouraging illegal behaviour is to polarise the two sides even further. Trump cannot win unless he brings Biden voters over to his side and as many moderate independents as possible.
