for context this is a look inside timmeh's head
timbuctooth • August 7, 2020 8:17 PM BST china is nearing the culmination of their 100-year plan for world domination, with the chinese virus (paid for by fellow-globalist obama, overseen by globalist comrade fauci), being released into the innocent and unsuspecting world with the aim of bringing the West to its knees, particularly America, and the one man who recognises the imminent threat to all our freedoms, The Don. china and its globalist multi-national lackeys are funding worldwide social disorder groups like antifa and blm Inc. to foment discontent, fear and chaos to add to the financial uncertainties After being told by china/globalists/lefties/quislings/eu/who/big tech/msm/bribe-takers `LOCKDOWN! LOCKDOWN! Or else, we`re all going to DIE!!!`, we, the people, are being softened up by the day, with ever more encroachment upon our freedoms, ever more intrusive clampdowns against civilised society The bbc, one of china`s main allies, being globalists in extremis see their nirvana approaching, and even current levels of `full scare mode` will be ramped up to 11. And the best of this nightmare? Their victims, good and right thinking people, while being told `Shut up, Slave!`, are paying for it all! I can't really see him stopping using racist tropes. |

Dave,
If there was an outbreak of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus in USA (for some reason) and Trump did a press conference and said.. 'We now have over 1000 cases of people dying of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus' would you say he was using a racist trope? |
|
By:
It’s the Trump virus in the USA. Things change, maybe the virus has mutated to something different from what it initially was. So I would say it’s fair after it wreaking havoc in the states for 4 months, and them having plenty of warning, for it to be called the Trump virus.

There is nothing particularly original or new in anything Tim says. Reactionaries like him watch a bunch of weird youtubers and read weird right wing blogs and think they are special for challenging or calling out liberal norms.
Then they all call themselves free thinkers for repeating everything |

I think I have worked Dave out.
If the media (or anyone else) uses terms like 'Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus', 'Ebola', 'China Virus', 'The economy', 'German measles' etc then it is absolutely fine. But if Trump uses terms like 'Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus', 'Ebola', 'China Virus', 'The economy', 'German measles' etc then it is a racist trope. |

`... She is deeply unpopular with the racists and Republicans who arent going to vote blue. She was seen as a fairly popular VP choice in polling of Dem voters. Is that why she ran away, too scared to face even ONE Primary vote? politicspunter 16 Aug 20 15:32 Fair comment. If Biden had chosen eg Elizabeth Warren, perhaps that would have made folks swither about supporting him. Another lie, that I`ve corrected you on previously. https://www.newsweek.com/kamala-harris-more-liberal-bernie-sanders-senate-record-analysis-shows-1524481 Kamala Harris More Liberal Than Bernie Sanders, Senate Record Analysis Shows Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden's pick for his vice presidential running mate, Democratic California Senator Kamala Harris, was ranked as being more liberal than Democratic Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, the congressperson often considered the furthest left within the Democratic caucus. The government watchdog website GovTrack.us ranked all 100 U.S. Senators with an "ideology score" from 1.0 (most conservative) to 0.0 (most liberal). The score is based on each senator's legislative behavior: namely, how similar the pattern of bills and resolutions they co-sponsor are to other congress members. "Members of Congress with similar political views will tend to cosponsor the same set of bills, or bills by the same set of authors, and inversely Members of Congress with different political views will tend to cosponsor different bills," the website explains. GovTrack.us gave Sanders an ideology score of 0.02 and Harris a score of 0.00. together, they ranked as the most liberal members of the Senate. The website said Harris joined bipartisan bills the least often compared to Senate Democrats. So, her voting record has her at 0.0000000000??? Meaning you literally CAN NOT BE MORE commie??? That she is, FACTUALLY, the most leftie of the lefties??? bernie`s 99th, pocahantas, (yes, the same pocahantas that pp assures us is left of kamala!) is only in 75th #75 0.26 Sen. Only people who don't know anything about politics would think that Kamala is more left than Bernie or that e.g. him and Gillibrand are almost ideological equals or that shitlibs like Feinstein are more liberal than Warren

I saw two lists of rankings, and accidentally wrote about the other one, sorry for the mistake, but here are the voting records. What`s more, there`s good news for the `kamala`s a moderate!` crew, as she`s not the most extreme any longer, she`s the second most commie. Still more so than bernie, as well! https://www.voteview.com/congress/senate/116 |

Someone said Harris and Biden were against fracking.
Is this true? |
|
By:

By:
Yes, Trump said that
|
|
By:
. Poll: Pennsylvanians oppose fracking at 52%
Fifty-two percent oppose fracking in a CBS News poll of registered voters in Pennsylvania, while 48% favor the oil-and-gas extraction method, a finding within the poll's margin of error. |

By:
Trump should be winning such polling by higher figures.
|
|
By:
it was obvious that was going to follow is that Biden/Harris ticket can clearly not win PA if they oppose fracking like we are fighting the 2012 election again or something.
Popular opinion is turning against it and trending only one way |
|
By:
Why when the sample of people polled appeared to have favoured a Harris style ban on fracking?
|
|
By:
Nonetheless, the 2020 Franklin and Marshall poll is consistent with more than a decade of polling trends in the state, as well as other recent opinion research. In 2011, 66 percent Pennsylvania voters supported “natural gas drilling” compared to just 23 percent who opposed it, support that eroded over time. By 2018, voters were nearly evenly divided on the question with clear majorities saying the environmental risks outweighed the economic benefits and that gas drilling had reduced quality of life.
The 2020 poll held even more bad news for the gas industry. In Pennsylvania: Nearly 1 in 3 Republicans support a ban on fracking. Independents are evenly split on banning fracking. Moderates support a fracking ban 51 to 35. Voters under 35 support a ban by nearly 3 to 1. Support for a ban is strongest among people with middle and lower incomes. Nonwhite voters support a ban by more than 5 to 1. |

How does the polling for supporting 'black lives matter' work?
I imagine 99% plus support the concept. I cannot imagine anyone supporting 'black lives do not matter'. |

I shouldn't have to explain this but saying Yes to Black Lives Do Not Matter and saying No to Black Lives Matter are not the same..
|
|
By:
I get that for sure.
What percentage in your polls oppose the concept that black lives matter? |
|
By:
I dont know what the strengths are meant to be of the Dems or what distinguishes them from the Republicans other than not being the bad guys so will use UK examples.
If the Tories held a 2 point lead on the economy, they would still be leading but this would be very bad for their electoral prospects. Likewise Labour if they were only clinging on with the NHS |

54% approve of Harris selection, including 1 in 4 Republicans: POLL More Americans approve than disapprove by a 25-point margin. |
|
By:
Yes...
Sixty-three percent of Americans support the Black Lives Matter movement and a record 69% -- the most by far in 32 years of polling -- say Black people and other minorities are denied equal treatment in the criminal justice system, two of several signs of deep changes in public attitudes on racial discrimination. These views don't necessarily translate into majority preferences on policy -- 55% oppose reducing police funding in favor of more social services, for instance, with 40% in favor. ^ So if BLM was a political party it would have no chance. Only 40% in that poll supported one of BLM's key policy goals. |
