That article is five years out of date and specifically deals with Asian families in three towns.

Somehow I find the idea that badminton playing daughters with postal votes crammed fifteen at a time into a flat are able to influence the balance of power at Westminster slightly unconvincing.
Next akabula and lfc will be on saying catholics in Coatbridge are living thirty to a bedsit, force feeding their offspring porridge and haggis then forcing them to vote SNP.

Meadow X1,

Less than two years ago:

Are you not concerned at all about the harvesting of postal votes by leftist globalist forces?

Still asking questions that you can't answer without revealing that you are wrong you mean?

As I keep saying do a bit of research on the subject before you start speaking about, otherwise all you do is show yourself up.

Evidenced by this thread where the overriding theme has turned into you being a non-voter.

No, because the Pickles report has yet to be brought into law.

When it does I don't think it goes far enough.

Sure. I'll give you a bet on anything if I think it's to my advantage.

As you don't understand how elections work, feel free to pitch.

I won't hold my breath as in the other thread the combined efforts of yourself, unitedbiscuits and Wurzel were unable to come up with a bet.

1) You are on a betting forum
2) You offer a bet
3) It's accepted and you run away.

Why do you even bother?

I know you don't do betting, but have a really long think about why someone would ask you to frame a bet before taking it.

Don't look up when thinking whatever you do.

You won't be able to quote any abuse because there wasn't any. Do try your hardest though, it's always a good show.

For the hard of thinking.

1) I made a statement that is no way ambiguous
2) Yourself and biscuits wanted to bet on it. Wurzel joined in later to hang himself.
3) I asked you to define it
4) You ran away because you didn't understand the basic laws of betting

Which bit of that comprehension and logic don't you understand?

Nothing has changed yet. Also if you read the report about the problems of postal voting and then the lack of solutions you will see the issue.

Those postal votes ( I estimate around 25% of total votes) will be predominately elderly former pottery workers and the like who have voted Labour all their life.

This has to be naive,I have witnessed a few counts in my strong Labour constituency, there were box after box of 100% votes for Labour candidates. The pattern was for the wardens of retirement homes (all Labour party members to get the jobs in the first place)to complete the ballot papers on behalf of the residents. Most of the residents had little say in the voting actions.
Others were often block votes on behalf of the local ethnic groups who took direction from their local mosques about who was favourable to their views.Less corrupt but not fully independent.
If those postal votes have not been monitored closely they could easily be the difference between defeat and victory.I will never be convinced that postal voting does not lead to block voting fraud.

Treetop,

Are you saying you were able to monitor each postal vote and say where it had come from?

I find it extraordinary that you also claim to know that retirement home wardens only got the job if they supported the Labour party.

Not a far suggestion.

If the retirement home is funded by the council, then it would be very hard to get a job there if you weren't with the local Labour party. That's the way local councils works down here.

So you are saying that all councils and retirement homes are run by the Labour party (down here which I assume you mean outside Scotland) ?

I'm talking local(Wales), the way jobs in the council work here is based on the local union/Labour party. That's the way council jobs work here.

I've watched electoral fraud take place and reported it to the electoral commission, nothing has come of it.

You can't seriously be suggesting that you must be a member of the Labour party to get a job with your local council?

I'm not suggesting you have to, but if you are you have a lot better chance than if you aren't.

Application forms ask if you are a member of any organisation/union.

Meadow,I believe you must be naive if you do not understand how it works, nothing is written down but council jobs often get " alloted to favourable applicants " as the chair of the interview panel directs matters. We complained to the electoral commission but the subsequent enquiry avoided any allocation of responsibility. When the deputy leader fell out with the leader afterwards this was mentioned but the council spent £250k on legal fees chasing the blogger who released the information which we suspected anyway. This "rumour" has stopped the great leader from being able to stand as an MP for a decade as the national media would use it to effect.

Labour will win with an increased majority after the way UKIP have messed this up combined with the hatchet job the media have done on Nuttall.

Its a big opportunity missed for UKIP but it doesnt alter the big picture. UKIP remain the likely home for the disaffected working classes who have no time for Corbyn and his boss McDonnell and their mass immigration views.
By:

Labour will win this but with so much dirt being flung it's hard to say by how far.  However, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if UKIPs share of the vote goes down.
By:

Id think thats highly likely. Of course one victory for Corbyn is bad news for Labour as it decreases the odds of them
replacing him with someone electable.

Wait til next Friday and you will have Abbot and Costello on the television telling you Corbyn is on course to be PM.

I would have thought it naive for someone to post on a website that he had personally examined postal votes and was able to say who they belonged to, who they voted for,  who filled them in and how the person filling them in had to belong to a particular political party.

Labour need to get real - if they want any chance in the next general election Corbyn has got to go ASAP and take Abbot and McDonnell with him.

The country needs an effective opposition to the government and Corbyn isn't coming close to providing that let alone having a prospect of winning

a GE. I hoped Labour might lose to UKIP in order to hasten Corbyn's end but it looks like the comical Nuttall has made a right balls up of the campaign.

Why was the stupid prat prancing around Stoke in his Glorious 12th clothing ?

If the voters were choosing on policy they would clearly pick UKIP as 70% voted to stop immigration and labour wants open borders.

Real shame UKIP been taken apart by the media and they lack any kind of leadership. If UKIP get any votes after what happened this campaign it will show how weak labour is.
