Insider,  Ukip have (or had) one policy unless you count the leaders enthusiasm for privatising the NHS. That policy is effectively fulfilled. Why vote for them now?

Getting out of the EU is part of it. But there is also the issue of the rest of the world where rates stand at 300k a year.

The Tories have not stopped that aspect. They need to be carefully watched over Brexit and over the non-EU situation.

Those in control of Labour at the moment are international socialists rather than national socialists who put their own people first.

If you fundamentally believe that everyone in the world should have the same opportunities and rights to be in the west/UK that is a very admirable position if you personally are willing to pay for it. The problem is it will have to lower the overall standards of living of people in the richer countries. Services will have to have fall to spread the wealth more thinly.

This is the choice we face. Does the west want to remain richer and have more of the worlds' resources than the rest of the world or are we will to share? When it comes to the vote people are showing they are increasing unwilling to share hence the rise of Trump, Brexit, Le Pen the Dutch guy etc.

Insider,

Getting out of the EU was the sole policy of UKIP. That has been achieved. As a party there is no need to vote for them.  Effectively they have campaigned to put themselves out of a job and move on to become radio hosts or similar.

We are still in the EU. If Labour, the Libdems and the SNP have their way we will remain in the Single market with open borders. Still alot of work to be done to make sure it happens. Also have to make sure we dont sign up for any other secret TTIP type deals that give powers to multinational companies and unelected bureaucrats.

odds on nuttall rise further after a slander campaign by mainstream media , whos bying it tho?
if ukip cant win this seat they cant win anything , im doubling down on backing nuttal to win , if stoke are 70% brexit then labour are surely done for as they are the anti brexit party.

i doubt the smear campaign against nuttall resonates with anyone outside the MSM and westminster bubble. shows how desperate labour have become though

would more concerned about UKIP's ability to get their vote out. the main parties still seem much better organised and of course postal votes makes it much harder for insurgent parties

Well the odds on Nutty continue to drift, fake news not helping but also the Hillsborough gaff was not just shooting himself in the foot, it blew both his friggin legs off. That said and as Brexit and Trump proved, nothing is ever a done deal in politics nowadays, with 3.25 starting to look very tasty.

30.25 would be a closer price to their chances.

Sure enough, Theresa May is in Stoke today. Now I wonder why that would be?  Has the UKIP vote collapsed so much that the Tories think they may pick up their votes and win the seat? Hmm, unlikely.  Could it be that the Tories think they may come a good second and finish off UKIP completely? Possibly, as she will want Labour to win the seat in order for Corbyn to remain leader.

Copeland is a real toughie to call. I have no idea which way it's going to go apart from it could be really close.  I do think the prices are wrong in that seat.
Come to think of it, the Tories are now 7/1 in places to win Stoke. That's a crazy price.

I am on Labour fairly heavy (though not nearly as much as Stoke) at prices ranging from 3.0 to 4.3 in Copeland.  I haven't decided whether to lay off yet.

Can't help thinking the Merseyside outrage factor is being overplayed by the market, seems to me that the good folk of Stoke will be rather more pragmatic about it and not turn away from Nutty in quite the numbers that seem to be confidently anticipated.

I have read a few reports on various sites from UKIP canvassers saying that they are being constantly questioned about Nuttall and Hillsborough.

Remember, for to have a chance of winning this seat UKIP will have to increase their share of the vote by over 50%.

Not suggesting for one minute it won't be a factor, as I said earlier he's not so much shot himself in the foot with it as blown both his legs off, but I still think he's in with a better chance than the current odds suggest. Two things will be key here, turnout and where the traditional Tory voters put their x. If they think they are in with a genuine shout then it's all over red rover for Nutty, but if they lend him their votes in decent numbers to get Labour out of one of it traditional rock solid seats, then a big surprise is not out of the question imo. It's going to be interesting thats for sure.

It does in the context that not long ago he was odds-on though, but has done nothing but drift since.

Labour price now 1.5. Story going about that with postal votes Labour have this in the bag and resources now being focused on Copeland.
