Btw I think EO's history of jobs are very plausible. Just a coincidence they all involve wearing a uniform. The obvious the one which sticks out a bit is the Barrister one as that's not normally a job you find sandwiched in between being a nurse and then a police man and presently a fireman. But life and work is not all about prestige and money. They are also about a sense of doing things which make you happy.
But lots of people go into higher level education when they are a little more mature in life and chosing law is something more than plausible for a person with obvious intelligence who likes debating an issue. A barrister might sound a prestigous an exceptionally well paid job but I imagine its not just so easy to find work in that field. Plus I would not like to be paying him by the hour based on the amount of time he has taken to defend this case with 4thJuly. |

No problem 4th. Where do you want them uploaded to? Do you want me to send them to you via email?
|
|
By:
I've just been to the station 4thjuly to pick my photo ID up can you let me know how you want to do the issue of providing of proof?
|
|

Perhaps you can also give me a view on a further proposal I'd like to suggest. Despite appearances I'm not really a cnunt and I'd be uncomfortable just taking two grand off you when you haven't got a chance of a win. It really is that simple. My proposal would be that when I provide satisfactory proof to you that you hold the money in abeyance until Cheltenham. Prior to the meeting I'll pick one out and if we back that one we can split the winnings or take the loss together. That way we either both win or both lose and I won't feel so bad about taking such a large sum of money off you in a bet you can't win. By the way I don't know where you got this 6pm thing from. Are you planning to make yourself unavailable?
![]() Let me know what you think. |

I have no idea of how these things work but am trying to message you my E Mail address for sending me the photos. On receipt I will announce to the forum the fact and issue an apology. A most reasonable and honourable suggestion re Cheltenham btw as it is me who has cast the aspersions. If you are going I will make every effort to meet you there. |

July get him a ticket and wine and dine him. Share the profits at the end of the day. Let Larry pick the banker. Everyone is potentially a winner.

I've got your email 4th. I've got a croft and I'm going over to feed the animals. When I get back I'll get onto it straight away. I'll leave my christian name on things because you'll have that anyway from my own email address. I'll send you a test email now. Can you let me know if you get it and then I'll get on the case proper in a couple of hours.

Anyway, glad your both on good terms. Its been like watching a test match in cricket which finishes in a draw a day early with the two captains shaking hands!

Funny how EO always has a habit of coming out of these arguments on top....and looking a great fella when he is doing it.
He's not just good. He's the best. |

I've just downloaded my own 'Utter Barrister' certificate.
If Eeternal has one, I want one. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=certificate+of+completion+of+pupillage&espv=2&biw=1242&bih=577&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=qgeYVPXMBs3tatewgLAK&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=JHn1X_Tt5VTBnM%253A%3BtNTmzbqOKenAfM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.justcounsel.co%252Fwp-content%252Fuploads%252F2012%252F03%252FBill-Ryan-Barrister-Certificate-of-call-to-the-Bar-from-Grays-Inn-1.png%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.justcounsel.co%252Fbarrister-wigs-and-other-oddities-3-utter-barristers%252F%3B400%3B564 |

Paddy, Julykid is more than holding his own here but both chaps are worthy of honourable praise here. Many doubted Julykid would follow through but he is making all the right noises.

This threading is at least deserving of its title usual suspects because there is more mystery about 4thJuly as there was about Kaisersoze.
|
|
By:
That certainly appears to be a genuine copy 4thjuly. The only difference with my own is that the same witness Margaret Chadderton has signed it above rather than at the side of the document. I'm now sat with the scanner ready to upload my documents and supporting evidence. let me know if you are still happy to accept what I have as proof.

My post disappeared. That certainly appears to be a genuine copy 4thjuly. My certificate is almost the same even down to Margaret Chadderton witnessing it but she signs mine above rather than at the side of the document. If you're happy to accept it I'll upload and send this along with my accompanying information as agreed.

What's going on here 4th? If I was looking to scam you I'd have taken your money rather than proposing a sporting bet.
|
|
By:
I've just returned from a nice lunch with the missus, I haven't the faintest what is going on.
Missing posts? |
|
By:
No problem my end 4th. I posted at 13.24 but it disappeared so I sent another and then it did appear so I've said the same thing twice. My question remains are you happy to go ahead or are you unhappy to proceed? I was pointing out that if I was seeking to scam you I'd have taken your money rather than suggest the sporting bet. Whatever you decide is fine by me. I don't want you unhappy with the bet or for you to be left feeling you may have been done over.
|
|
By:
No worries. The Cheltenham scenario is fine by me. As I said if you want to go I can get seats. John Frankham waffles for half an hour, but that's the only downside. The marquee is next to the Best Mate stand.
What was the wacko's post that went? E mail me when you're ready. I'll let the forum know when you have. They are waiting with baited breath. |

If anybody has any advice it'll be greatly appreciated. I'v got Windows 8 on my computer and I can't find the documents folder or how to scan into the folder and I'm struggling to make head or tail of importing documents into the computer. I'll keep trying and checking back here if I can't do it.
|
|
By:
When you scan something your scanner software should tell you want the destination folder is
I use win7 ultimate 64 bit , so may be different , when you start explorer you have a tree list at the left and one has desktop\libraries\documents If you’ve lost a file open a command window by pressing windows key and R , then type cmd and press ok Type cd \ This should take you to the root of your c drive Type Dir filename.extension /s Eg Dir cert.jpg /s |
|
By:
It's complete nonsense this. I never appreciated how dysfunctional Windows 8 was until now. Everything is different. There are Apps everywhere something I've never used. That treet list you suggest is non existent. It's how I would have scanned using my old computer. This is shiit.
|
|
By:
I must admit I took one look at win8 and went nah f that. I was brought up on command lines so that tiles sh&t and everything been hidden doesn't appeal at all.
There must be some sort of explorer program surely? Try reading these http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows-8/files-folders-windows-explorer http://digitalunite.com/guides/computer-basics/windows-8/how-use-file-explorer-windows-8 |
|
By:
I downloaded something which replicates the original windows screen otherwise I'd have been there for a week trying to figure it out.
|
|
By:
Should be with you now 4th july. Let me know if there's a problem or you need anything else.
|
|
By:
Well they are all UPSIDE DOWN. You surely can't expect me to except this?
Only joking |

To all at the politics forum
The poster Eeternaloptimist has provided sufficient evidence to my satisfaction to prove he has been a nurse, a law graduate, policeman and is a fireman. I hope he will accept my sincere apologies for accusing him in the past of having either any or none of the above. I look forward to having a £2000 bet on a WINNER (please) at Cheltenham . Eeternal use this post for any of the Betfair forums if the same crops up again. |

4th - I find your views highly distasteful but I respect you for holding your hand up and saying you were wrong.

Distasteful?
paedophiles view of children is distasteful my friend, my views on life may be different from yours but I don't find yours distasteful. Obnoxious and intolerant, but not distasteful. AS you seem computer savvy I guess your'e young. When you have lived a little you might mellow. |
