Current Jets odds
AFC EAST==7.2 Conference==14.0 Superbowl==46.0 Ive backed my Jets for the last 15yrs in these markets often with little hope but none moreso than this year, still like your lottery numbers you just cant NOT back them suckers,so for that reason and being more in hope than expectation Im in. |
By:
Buffalo currently at 75s are worth keeping an eye on as their last 7 games are a joke. They could go 10-6 imho
By:
The Bills are defo on the way back but 10-6 with 2 games against the Pats in their schedule seems rather optimistic but GL,10-6 will most likely get a wildcard, but the Bills will improve again imho.
By:
their D looks ridiculous this year
i will be backing them in individual games |
By:
Bills definitely got a shot at a WC (Can't see past the Pats for the div). Jets look absolutely horrible at the moment, the offense is embarassingly bad.
By:
ravens beat 49ers in harbaugh bowl
By:
Pats have one of the easiest schedules I have ever seen:
http://www.patriots.com/games-and-stats/schedule.html Cannot see any problems with them winning the division |
By:
I have put some fresh money into the Superbowl outright market, will take it all down again when the next round of pre season games start or something happens to change the whole market.
cheers |
By:
Ive just looked at my book from dabbling into the market earlier on this year. Ive got a lovely profit to be made if the Jags win the superbowl!
By:
Talking of the Jags...wherever MJD pitches up, he's bound improve them and if its NE (who have made some interesting cap moves recently) or DET (not sure about their cap situation tbh) then they would be scary.
By:
not sure any teams will give up draft picks for MJD
too much of a gamble he will sign with the Jags, it is just a bit of cat and mouse over the size of the contract |
By:
Yeah, completely agree i dont think he will be traded.
By:
I also like San Diego but their offense seems to be dropping like flies! Same can be said of the cowboys.
By:
i'm with the OP.
fingers X'd for the seahawks but i think we may be a season early. |
By:
I have to say that the current market looks right
the Patriots have one of the easiest schedules this year I have ever seen and the Packers have a decent schedule as well dutching 7.4 between them might not be a bad bet. Both would be under evens in a SB if they played someone else and if they played each other you would be laughing. |
By:
Eagles have it in the bag this year, already spending the winnings.
By:
Patriots back to another superbowl I reckon..although we all know we will get another packers, giants momentum team....afc looks way easier to pick a superbowl team than the NFC.
By:
Howdy ladies, how are we all?
Oh, and the Saints. They'll be on a missions this year as the Pats were in 2007 after "camera-in-the-wrong-place-gate". |
By:
Pats are 6-1 in the worst div in football, they are a completely free bet, zero chance they don't go MUCH shorter than that, or that they don';t make the post season. Back now lay later and have a lovely free bet is my advice.
By:
i have backed the Pats and the Packers both at 6/1 with a decent chunk
also done a small saver on the Texans Pats/Packers SB would be nice ![]() |
By:
Packers have it tough in that division with Chi and Det. I think they're poor value at 6/1 esp with NYG, and also Philly being stacked not to mention SF. Texans should win their div easy.
I think NE V HOU could easily be the AFC champ game, two easiest divs 'should' make for two top records, but of course anything can happen. Anyway good luck man! ![]() |

By:
49ers for me this year
By:
i think 49ers will struggle this year personally
their D is fantastic but I don't trust Smith to have another good year and Gore is always banged up I like the fact they picked up LaMichael James but not sure if he will get much of a game this year |
By:
Am I the only one to think that the Patriots may not be all that this year? Yeah Ok, their schedule is not too tough but their O line is dreadful, no running back of any note and their defence was terrible last year. Brady not getting any younger either at 35. Think he will be doing some ducking any diving. I like the Bills for the division , Fitzpatrick was great last year till he got injured.
By:
49ers would win it if they'd taken Tebow

I hate the Pats with a passion, but passion is no use in betting. I think the Pats have done a good job this off-season, and I think they'll be better in key areas like the line and defense. The defense actually picked it up quite a bit in the 2nd half.
Hightower should stiffen them against the run esp. inside. Brady isn't showing any real signs of decline, if The Bills are gonna take this division then they might need their d-line to take Brady out for the season. Pats are a stonking 6-1 shot IMO, a real good one, how the bookies make GB co-favs is beyond me, real tough division, I think they're a 10-1 shot if not more than that. |
By:
Have backed the Texans, only bet for me all the eggs in the Houston basket

Very obvious and very dull selections, Packers and Pats.
A couple that could go well at prices are Giants and Ravens, the annual tenner each way on a rag this year is the Titans - Kenny Britt back (after a week 1 suspension) to help Hass/Locker whoever gets the job. Titans 130 to back in here.... |
By:
A few stand out prices for mine. Of those with a realistic chance, New York Jets and San Diego stand out value wise. The latter is 40/1 with 90% of their roster which started at 14 the last two years. Norv and AJ are on the hot-seat. Yes, Manning is the best QB of all time but Denver's schedule and Manning's settling in makes the Chargers huge value. Unsure why New York have drifted from 30 to 65 on pointless pre-season. They still have a top 5 D in the NFL. Of the longer odds, St Louis and Indy stand out. The NFC West is the NFC West, starting a third round rookie and as a Cards fan, our O line is abysmal and will get Skelton injured before long. The Rams will have a hard nosed mentality and Sam Bradford is more than capable of replicating his 2010 form. Meanwhile, Indy have the hapless Jags and the Titans who will be looking to set in Locker. If Luck can live upto his billing, they could shock if the Texans disappoint. I'd argue Indy are in a much better position than Washington but are double the price.

I can't have the Jets at any price, they have disaster written all over them. QB controversy, poor o-line, no run game (Shonn Green is worse than Lamont Jordan was when he was a Raider), and no targets for their QB's.
The locker room is ready to crumble and Ryan's style is played out, you can BS your way thru a couple of seasons, but his big-mouth garbage has lost its effectiveness now. SD? - Can't see it, they're a big price for a reason, they've been sliding for years now, Rivers has lost arm strength it seems, and were they to make the playoffs they'd do what they always do - crumble against a big dog, SD has never seen a a big game it didn't want to choke on. |

pre season may be B.S but the jets are the first ever team not to score a touchdown in their first 3 pre season games.
By:
I think the 1977 Falcons failed to score a TD in their first 3 pre-season games

Anyone know why all the outsiders have massively drifted since Wed? Arizona were 150 - now 200+. StLouis - 200 to 400. Miami were 150 ten days ago? Seem huge swings without a meaningful pass being thrown.
