d13 you prob didnt watch the packers game but what you were saying about the zebras costing teams...if you get a chance check out some of the calls on seattles 2nd last drive then the final play somehow called a TD seattle they need to get rid of these officials
By:
check out the push in the back on the TD..unreal scenes

Just watched the highlights on gamepass.
cost me serious dough Harry If I didn't have the Texans onside in the SB market I would be fcked Its an absolute disgrace and needs sorting. Packers and New England both need a run now although both should still win their divisions. |

Texans are too low for me at the moment at 6.6 (gen 5/1 on High Street). I know they are 3-0 but wins against the Dolphins, Jaguars, & Broncos are nothing to write home about really (as Harry pointed out earlier in the thread in fairness). They could be something but it's a bit early to tell and 5/1 is a joke of a price with some of their upcoming games. We won't learn much about them the next 2 weekends as they host the Titans and travel to the Jets (prob without Revis) but their next 2 will show us what the Texans are really about with home games against the Packers and the Ravens. They also have to travel to the Bears, Lions, & Patriots after their bye in Week 8 (not consecutively though). If they go 3-2 from those 5 games then they will be right in the mix for the No.1 seed in the AFC, along with the Ravens & Patriots IMO.

Saints home and away at indy...reckon they will be back on track

Packers seem a little short for me.....getting horrible O line play and that's three games in and the offence is still nowhere near what they expect.....people might reply with what about the second half where they went to the run and looked better.
Well that gets away from the essence of what the Packers offence is all about...ie ....spread the field and create mismatches with the plethora of wideouts......if you have to continually keep two and three tight ends in then that creates a whole different offence....the Packers MUST get better play from the O line for the offence to flourish. |
By:
they have played 3 of the best defences in the NFL Grayhawk.
They will win that division with ease imo and in the playoffs they will no doubt be a threat. Also you could have a scenario where the NFL cant really afford not to have them in the playoffs after last nights debacle |
By:
Hope you're correct d13phe
....forgot to say on the flip side......after last years debacle the secondary has started very promisingly indeed considering all the rookies getting playing time so early in the season, they can only improve......i can't ever remember so many rookies getting so much game time on one side of the ball. |
By:
i think Green Bay when the refs dont botch it up are in a great position
their D looks pretty mean this year and when (not if) the offense gets going, watch out |
By:
As stated above, the Packers are worth backing now, even if it's just to lay off during their Bye week. They have a few easy-ish games over the next 6 weeks before a very tough run in
vs Saints - win @ Colts - win @ Texans - lose? @ Rams - win vs Jaguars - win vs Cardinals - win Bye @ Lions @ Giants vs Vikings vs Lions @ Bears vs Titans @ Vikings That's a tough run-in with 5 divisional games and a trip to the Giants |
By:
I have been impressed with the packers d the last 2 weeks. nice price right now..I will give up if they dont win the next 2 games
By:
5 out of the next 6 they should win...they could go unbeaten
By:
I have a £4k green on the Packers for the SB now. They will be in the playoffs and from there that is where it really matters. I think they are more suited to doing it the hard way.
I still have Texans/49ers and the Pats all onside worries for me are the Ravens and the Falcons. I really didnt expect the Falcons to walk over the Chargers with such ease. I am not sure how legit they are atm. the Ravens obviously have that great D and should have won a SB recently tbh (maybe even last year) but I don't trust their offense when it matters. |
By:
I quite like the offence in the big games..flacco basically got it done last season if not for lee evans catch being ruled out...Mr suggs to come back also..how they are missing him
By:
Don't rate Flacco at all
By:
Still dont think the patriots are that good, everything I've seen this season backs this up,
They are a massive lay in the AFC East Anyway we'll see on sunday 6pm v the Bills |
By:
You cant rule out the Pats imo
they only got beaten by 2 FGs in those games |
By:
had to get the falcons onside
their schedule looks pretty easy tbh |
By:
Big win for the Pats and Packers with their divisional rivals struggling
The Texans and the 49ers look standout teams at this point and the Falcons are probably not far from what they were last year. top 4 for me now: 49ers Texans Packers Pats |
By:
Denver looks really good imo...having manning back up what looks a very well balanced team.
By:
I like Denver to get to the playoffs but they would have to be home to pose a threat imo
Oakland are a very bad team though. |
By:
My ante post bet on the jags isn't looking good.

Packers are 10/1 now on the back of the Bears/vikings win.
By:
well the packers are now 20/1 after that debacle.
I think they can probably afford one loss and they dont have the easiest run in and have the texans next week. If they can win that game they are still in it imo. It has been an utterly bizarre season for them so far. How the ref played that pass int call on Shields against the Colts was ridiculous. Pats are on a bit of a roll now. Texans/49ers still for me. The 49ers look amazingly good at the moment but the Bills are horrendous. will be interesting to see how they go against the Giants! some big games next week going under the radar maybe the Steelers? |
By:
Broncos are worth a bet now at the 33/1 available. Their tough matches were all at the front end of their schedule (4 of the 5 so far were against Steelers, Falcons, Texans, Patriots). 3 of those teams are single figures for the Superbowl and they have played them all close enough, all the while with Manning finding his feet. If they beat the Chargers next weekend in San Diego then they will lead the AFC West going into their Bye week and then they have 2 weeks to prepare for the Saints, which is probably their 2nd toughest match-up from their remaining games (after the Ravens)
Their remaining schedule is a bit easier @ Chargers Bye Week vs Saints @ Bengals @ Panthers vs Chargers @ Chiefs vs Buccaneers @ Raiders @ Ravens vs Browns vs Chiefs No reason why they can't go 8-3 or even 9-2 from those games. The only game you could say they are outmatched from those 11 games is the road game against the Ravens and even then they would still have a fighting chance IMO. |
By:
Texans are going to miss Cushing, apparently done for the season
that makes the 49ers a massive favourite for the Superbowl imo |
By:
Agree with the broncos...they have had one tough schedule....niners were massive favs anyway..texans price still laughable...4/1 ffs...patriots should be favs in the afc.
By:
i have equalled the Texans and loaded up on the 49ers.
they will be in the Superbowl this year. I cant see it not happening. Im not sure I like the Broncos. I like Manning but the receivers and RBs are not good enough. they cannot win away from home. Im struggling with the Falcons. Are they legit? |
By:
the falcons are never legit lol...who cant you see being in the superbowl? niners? was only few weeks ago you were all against them saying they couldnt be as good this year lol...reckon the pats price is too tempting still
By:
Not having the falcons...Backed the giants again the other night...much better price imo...
By:
bears shorter than the giants
![]() |
By:
bears had a good win in dalls behind the defence..the offence did nothing.. AGAIN...packers destroyed them.....then the other wins were colts and rams at home and jags away..now they are a team to fear...not for me.
By:
soft schedule and more soft games coming up
By:
No, I have completely reversed on the 49ers. they are the best team in NFL imo.
I still think Green Bay will somehow get to the playoffs but cant believe they lost to the Colts. that was a huge slip up. So Pats vs 49ers Superbowl Harry? that would suit me anyway. |
By:
Yes it would suit me...or the giants...Dont have any other fancy in the afc tbh apart from denver as a dark horse....also agree packers can turn it around by beating their divisional rivals...benson injury wont help things but maybe that will kick fire rodgers and his receivers...the colts loss was a shocker...looked so comfortable for them.
By:
It could have been the niners in the superbowl last season...I could only see them getting better this season so had to go with them again
By:
Bear in mind that the giants have a hard schedule, especially the last 4 games (saints could have wild card shot) hence thats why they are the price they are
@ san francisco washington @ dallas pittsburgh @ cincinnati bye week green bay @ washington new orleans @ atlanta @ baltimore philadelphia |

CHICAGO BEARS

By:
Somebody doesn't fancy the Packers. Pushed out to 40 earlier today.
By:
Cannot be having the Falcons at 8/1 despite the 6-0 record
I think now is the time to bet on the 49ers and the Pats after their weekends. the Giants also are a big danger team but i just don't fancy them to repeat this year. Broncos in to 20/1 but the Chargers are not great so not reading in to that game last night too much Update for my book: houston - nil 49ers - +£1.2k Pats - +£900 Packers - +£2.6k Giants - +£200 Field - -650 Pretty happy with that at the moment. |
