In the NFC - Dallas are the value @ 66/1 with PP. They have the talent to beat anybody on any given day if they make the play-offs, which I think they will, and look a good bet to lay back later on.
In the AFC - Steelers look a value bet @ 40/1 with WH. Banged up with injuries right now and also look a great bet to lay back later on. If they get TP, offensive linemen, rb`s Redman and Mendehall healthy, they could be serious contenders. |

patriots suddenly gone favorite. what am i missing?
By:
big injuries to Baltimore and Houston on the defenses
By:
thank you, i just checked how severe those injury problems are for the ravens and the texans. makes sense, that they drift. still i dont make the 3-3 patriots favourite to win the super bowl.
By:
not sure anyone knows who should be favourites
it has been one of those seasons |
By:
not so comfortable with my division bet on the ravens now..was going so smoothly...webb injury is a nightmare....texans should be able to run all day on the ravens...a win here would be a bonus
By:
I still think you be ok there Harry, the Steelers are still carrying injuries and seem to pick them up quite regularly now too, plus they are so up and down , they would have to go on some run to take the division. Unless you are worried by Cleveland
![]() |
By:
Yes have to agree with you for once lol...Steelers will probably thrown in a few bad results along the way but they will be getting harrison and woodley back...that is massive for them...unlike the jets the ravens dont have a cromartie to cover revis absence. No not worried about cleveland although they are not as bad as their record imo...lot worse teams around.
By:
Yeah was only jesting re cleveland and yep the future does look brighter for them
By:
I knew you were just messing...jags have to get the bottom spot...awful team.
Cleveland had a big lead in NY...eagles and ravens games were close also...tough division |

blimey FRANKEL.....what a horse...that is going to fetch some money....I think someone should start one of these facebook campaigns and get the votes rolling in

Yep Jags are awful , at least my team ( the fins ) are starting to move away from the awful tag!!
By:
Yes they are getting better...reggie bush form has dropped since he picked up that slight injury...fins lost vonte also who was their best corner...wake having a massive season again.
By:
cant say I have much to cheer about as an eagles fan...doom and gloom..shame as we have a very good defence.
By:
Yeah Wake is class.... I would be fuming if I was an eagles fan , the talent they have had the last few years and nothing to show for it

By:
nearly anybody could win it. right now id go with the packers. theyve come through a lot already this year, slowly working their way back to where they want to be. massive gaping holes in the defense, so defo not a confident pick. falcons always seem to balls it up in the play offs. giants always a danger.
afc hard to see past texans and patriots. |
By:
im not sure why the Texans are such big favs tbh
they showed that they are still short against the elite teams (Packers) Hammering the ravens without their best defensive players and a QB who can't win away doesn't really prove anything. 49ers, Packers, Pats and the Giants - I say it comes from one of these 4 imo |
By:
Pats arent very good tho.
By:
your probably right but they have a QB and a coach who knows how to get into the playoffs and win Lix.
they also have a very easy Division. |
By:
Can someone please explain why the 6-0 Falcons are 11.5? I realise they haven't been great, but 11.5 for a side with a 1.5 game lead in their CONFERENCE? Meanwhile, the NE Pats are looking woeful and are 8.2? For a side who can't defend a rookie QB or a noodle armed one? Equally daft is the fact that Green Bay are 8.6 when they are third in their division! Two good games does not erase the fact they looked very poor earlier this season.
By:
Because the Falcon's opponents have a combined record of 13-24 with none of them having a winning record. Their last 3 wins weren't very convincing, all being by 7pts or less and 2 of them were at home, where the Falcons are traditionally very strong. Their record is very flattering IMO.
Their remaining schedule isn't very favourable either with some tough matches on that slate @ Eagles (Andy Reid has never lost after the Bye week I think) vs Cowboys @ Saints vs Cardinals @ Buccaneers vs Saints @ Panthers vs Giants @ Lions vs Buccaneers They should still have enough in hand to get the No.1 seed in the NFC but equally, they could lose on the road to both the Eagles and the Buccaneers and lose both games to a fired-up Saints and next thing you know they are 8-4 with a Road game against the Panthers and a visit from the Giants (who love road games against conference rivals) to look forward to |

Vonte was the best corner a season ago. Didn't show up this year hence the trade. Had always been prone to believe his own hype too much but the Fins made the correct decision (long term) in taking the Colts 2nd rd pick.
Wake is a monster and makes you wonder why more teams to scan the CFL. |
By:
Wake is staying put
( hopefully ) |
By:
Charles woodson out for 6 week a blow for the pack
By:
the patriots arent "looking woeful" theyre just not playing all that good. yes they have problems, but no team in the league is without problems. they should have won every game theyve lost. could just as easily say atlanta looked woeful against oakland. cos they looked abysmal.
By:
Woodson news is bad for the Packers but they have a couple of easy weeks then a bye so he might be back for the key back end of the season.
referring to a previous post, the Falcons are a big price because you would fancy any of the other NFL teams like 49ers, Packers and the giants to turn them over at home Im surprised the 49ers are so big at this point. Im not sure Smith is fit at the moment. |
By:
If i had to get involved right now from the top 9 in the betting, id back the broncos.
But id much rather swerve the top 9 all together and take a chance on someone getting 'hot' towards the back end of the season at the higher prices. I think the steelers are tremendous value,as i think they will win the division. (i know there banged up) Other than that, i think one of the eagles or cowboys will make the playoffs. Also think the vikes are still underrated despite a bad few weeks in the passing game. |
By:
already on them broncos at nice price.
By:
Broncos have a pretty soft schedule as well
think they will need to be home in the playoffs to get to the SB |
By:
I dont think it makes much difference where you play...if you are playing well enough you will win a game of football
By:
(sudoku) brees 8/11 now
By:
worth mentioning that the patriots and texans are probably shorter than they normally would be in their positions, because the afc looks so weak. hard to see more than about 3 or 4 afc teams even finishing with a winning record.
ok that doesnt mean play off games v steelers, ravens, chargers or broncos will be a cake walk. but its pretty much a foregone conclusion they will both win their divisions, and probably easier than the nfc play off scenarios. you could quite easily argue that the nfc has the best 4 teams in the league with the packers, 9ers, falcons and giants. add in eagles, cowboys, bears, saints, vikings, crads, seahawks its pretty competitive. more than half the teams in the afc are utter pish. |

By:
Yes it was a poor 2nd half..slowed right down...Next up denver....the rushing and receiving yards market is impossible to call....I would go with AP at 9/2...Also play it safe with megatron.

i got my biggest green now on the steelers and the chargers.
chargers, because they are my team - but my confidence in them is as low as never before ![]() steelers look promising imo. as much as i dislike big ben, his record is impressive. in his 9 seasons he reached the SB 3 times, winning 2 of them. the steelers have got explosive weapons in their offense with mike wallace and antonio brown. they got useful RBs (with minor injuries atm) and their defense does surprisingly well without polamalu, who will give them an extra gear when back. the steelers are solid, experienced and very underrated atm. im confident, they will peak, when it matters. im happy to back them @28 and higher. |
