yep the Bills could just as easily go 0-5. 850 is not value imo
By:
Impossible to bear with you on this one db..no chance..rams jets and seahawks all to beat them
By:
thats madness db
As I said before the Bengals not a bad outside bet my SB book finally showing a decent profit |
By:
Only just d13
Had this wrapped up since week 5 ![]() |
By:
i didnt back Denver lol
just done some wheeling and dealing topped up on the steelers and the Packers. huge overreaction on the Packers who have a very easy schedule imo and could even finish with the number 2 seed |
By:
Their O line give rodgers no chance..what we did see was the giants D getting it together..how much do the pack miss clay? answer a lot...see you backed the giants again...should have really went in again on them but had them at an even bigger price than they were before the weekend...denver the only team giving you a headache now?
By:
Steelers making the playoffs would be a huge plus...after they lose this weekend they need to get ben ready to go on a 4 game winning streak
By:
yes im worried about Denver tbh, particularly if they get a home run.
Rodgers and co will still be a threat in the playoffs and could have key players like Matthews and Woodson back. Clay Matthews has been a huge player this season The giants are always worth having because they can beat anyone but I am not sure it is worth reading too much into that game. the giants were great and the Packers were awful. |
By:
in the steelers favour is that The Bengals and Colts have a tough run in and not much behind them
can see the steelers getting 5th seed. |
By:
saints beating the falcons on thursday which i think they will will open the race for 1 and 2 seeds in the NFC
By:
Agree on the analysis on the pack giants game...Rodgers had no time at all and I didnt think eli had a very good game...he had what rodgers didnt have...5 minutes to look and pick a pass...giants beat what looked like a very soft team sunday night.
Colts could lose to anyone and you wouldnt be surprised...bengals and steelers probably still worth a few quid at this stage..just a case of topping up on a few teams now if i choose...them niners looked damn good though.... NFC...fancy the saints to put a run together...frisco would have beat any team this weekend....saints to start another run thursday night...really like them to put one over atlanta again. |
By:
yes, the niners the ones to beat
laughable that they are the same price as the texans i just cant understand the texans price at all. no guarantee they get a 1st or 2nd seed |
By:
****g ridiculous d13...the afc looks just as competitive as the nfc...saints getting in would make it more competitive...the market will be punished badly with these texans
By:
Sometimes you just have to look past the regular season record...at least when the packers of last season went through the reg season they looked the real deal and then went in cold and were taken out...the texans dont even look convincing and the price is bordering stupidity
By:
if we assume they do get the 1st seed
they will have probably have to beat: 2 out of the Broncos/Pats/Steelers/Ravens at home and then one of the NFC powerhouses ![]() no chance they are a 6.4 shot. |
By:
Jason Babin was released by the eagles today I wonder if one of the teams in contention will take the rest of his contract, a pro bowler last year
By:
Packers prob need to win out and 49ers to lose 2 games to at least get #2 seed(Giants are too inconsistent),that would mean 49ers possibly losing to the Rams and Pats,Pats more likely.Packers will also be aware of the schedule and will suit themselves as the next few games go by.If Falcons lose on Thurs the whole NFC could open up....
By:
I don't see how the Texans don't get the No.1 seed now. They can afford to lose to the Patriots and still have the tie-breaker over the Ravens, who are no guarantee to win out themselves either. The Texan's outright price is too small I agree, but the road to the Superbowl goes through Houston in the AFC.
If the 49ers lose 2 more games then they will be the road games at the Seahawks and Patriots. Can't see them finishing worse than 11-4-1 at this stage which should be good enough to get the No.2 seed (and maybe even No.1) |
By:
i dont see the texans just losing 1 game out of the last 5 with 3 of them away from home.
I see them losing 2 maybe 3 given how well they have played recently. they have been lucky so far as none of their elite players have gone down injured like nearly all of the other big teams, that can easily change. |
By:
tie breaker should start with conference games won rather than h2h as 1 team gets the home advantage
By:
What do you mean Harry?
By:
If the texans and ravens were tied at 13-3 for example..texans get the no1 seed because they beat the ravens..it was a home game...not the best way to decide it..if the ravens had won the game then you wouldnt argue about who got it as it was a road win.
By:
what price the saints if they beat atlanta? tamps and seattle the other 2 main wildcard teams have denver away and chicago away..2 defeats likely.
By:
Bears and Giants big prices still.
Atlanta should be lower price for their record - I know they have been tight wind but still been winning!! |
By:
Bears price should be bigger imo
By:
Agree dlarssonf.....Bears @ 19.5 or Giants 14....no brainer really.
By:
^This was the same earlier in season...giants were double the price of the bears
By:
the market isnt logical atm
good defences alone dont win you SBs |
By:
49ers are as big a lay as anything there has been all season. Colin Kaepernick will be proved to be a poor QB by the end of the year. He was woeful against St Louis, and was then managed exceptionally against a Chicago D which was over cocky. Against NO, he was mediocre against a woeful D. He has a strong arm and good athleticsm but very poor in the mental side. Hard to find any value in the NFC odds. Atlanta should be shorter, but the market hates them. GB are a laughable price given their O line and banged up D. Chicago have an even worse O line. NYG look a decent price, but I think the #6 seed will be the best value.
As for the AFC, Denver are the class of the field. Peyton Manning with a Defence? They should be the ones at 6. |
By:
49ers a lay? they shut down arguably the best offence in the NFC in that 2nd half...49ers are the biggest lay? gl with that one..best team in the NFC..what price do you want them to be? Saints defence is not that bad..chicago were supposed to be the best defence and 49ers thrashed them
By:
This is a QB league, and SF have by far the worst starting QB of any team below 20. That's my opinion.
By:
I think it was horse who mentioned the QB situation in frisco....not a team whos QB bombs balls down field...just manages the game without taking too many risks...they have randy moss who can still stretch the field and they never use him.
Texans 2nd favs and they dont have a QB in the elite class..far from it. |
By:
Kapernick cannot manage a game. He will complete a 40 yard pass that looks pretty, followed by two incompletions and an awful interception. Look at how awful he was when he was unprepared against St Louis. It's only Harbaugh and Roman's management which is saving them at the moment.
By:
the giants and packers looking too big now.
Along with the 49ers they are the three that will make it to the SB, |
By:
The more i see the Falcons win, the less i like them.
By:
Didn't sound like the best performance from Atlanta. I went to bed at 2.15am and they were actually playing quite well. Just feel they tend to get in front and then go to sleep or get behind and then fight like mad to get back into the game. It is certainly true they don't thrash anyone but they are still getting the job done. The saints for me are a poor team. Yes they put up yards but that doesn't make them a good offence.
The issue I have with San Fransisco is can they get it done in a championship game, the QB issue puts me off backing them as for all his talent Kapernick has never played in a meaningful game. They are not immune from throwing in the odd stinking game themselves for instance Minnesota earlier in the season New York or more recently St louis who are about as bad away from home as you can be. The match with the patriots is more of a defining game for their season. All of the front teams in the NFC have some issue or other. It's what makes this particular NFL season so interesting. |
By:
49ers were a fumbled punt away from the SB last year with a lesser QB imo
i do think Kendall Hunter going down is a problem though |
By:
Falcons were awful...the D played fairly well though when they had to but brees was awful....yet again the falcons will be eliminated early.
Hunter and gore had a nice combination going...fairly big loss for this offensive system |
By:
Falcons will not win the SB, there are any number of teams I would fancy to beat them in January.

Go Bills!
