Colin Kaepernick cannot take SF anywhere. Do they go back to Alex?

Yes San Fransisco are clearly the real deal! As many holes as any of the other main contenders. Wide open still in the NFC

market still not rational

the giants will go equal for the number 2 seed with a win tomorrow night

@d13phe you mean third on their own? They will still be behind SF

ah yes because of the tie

But yes I agree. There could be four teams all within half a game of the number 2 spot. Atlanta will take the number 1 spot now by a game or two.

lovely. the steelers will shorten heavily after winning in baltimore without big ben, who should be back next week. furthermore they have a soft schedule and only 1 away game left.

another interesting weekend

need the giants to come through tonight to rescue my SB book after 49ers loss last night

Steelers & Colts wins have probably killed off my Bills bet now Crazy LOL

I feckin hummed and hawed for weeks about adding the 49ers and finally bit the bullet and backed them at just under 11/2 on Friday cos I figured they would win the next 2 (@ Rams & vs Fins), lock up the No.2 seed and never get that big again

really tempted to go big on the steelers again.

not sure any of other teams would want to face them in the playoffs

mean D
a very good QB
decent receiver and 3 running backs chomping at the bit

I liked the Steelers run-in from here aswell. Thought they would be at best a 20/1 if they make the play-offs. To me San Fransisco still look too short. Two really tough road games against New England and Seattle who are fighting for their lives. Could easily lose both games.

its certainly getting interesting.

I just think the Packers have too many injuries to be contenders atm although that can change if they get Matthews, Woodson and their Offensive line healthy

I don't understand the Giants price.  I wonder what price they are if they beat the Skins tonight.  I would make them single digits as they will likely get a home game at least in the playoffs.

Denver have a fairly soft schedule from here and they look like they are serious contenders to me from the AFC.

A giants, Steelers Superwowl would be nice.

I think if the Steelers are close to 100%, they are as good as anyone in the NFL, especially because there are clearly no dominant teams in either conference. It is totally wide open, we have two one loss teams who are solid but not spectacular, is the best NE team you have seen? let's get real here with them, they have a cakewalk to the div title every year, especially this year. I think you can slow down their pass game if you're prepared to match up one on one with their WR's, I think the Steelers can go man to man on them for example. Don't sit back in zone  and let Brady tear you a new one. Denver look as good as anyone, but again, there's 6 soft games on their schedule, that division is totally awful. The Bengals are better than SD KC and Oak and they're the 3rd best team in the North.

Houston @ NE on SNF looks like a great game.

As we've seen, SFG looked awesome vs the Bears, and they they drop a real clunker in against the Rams, if they're a truly dominant team they go in there and beat them. The Bears? wow, SFG and Wilson exposed their defense and their o-line is real poor.

It's like the AFC, you can throw your hat over a bunch of teams.

Giants price has to be because of schedule and tonights game. If the giants lose its feasible that any one of the giants cowboys or redskins could win the division.

Packers may have injuries but if they end up #2 the NFC final could be at Lambeau which would help, massive win for Steelers last night, not sure they'd beat the Patriots but if they met the Colts and then Texans they'd have a shot, backed them a few wks ago with Lads when they were offering 16/1 1/4 odds 1,2,3,4 would go in again at 20/1 but think that particular market is gone and wouldnt be as confident going each way 1,2

When: 03 Dec 12 17:04
Mr Sykes.....Lambeau in January has been no help to the Packers in the last two NFC championship games they hosted....It's not as if they have a punishing running game which is best suited to outdoors in winter.

Rodgers is a better quarterback in domes.....he's said it himself.

Im sure they'd still rather play at home than away,if the Giants and 49ers end up meeting each other,GB will only have to play one of them and if they get their starters back they'd have a chance, you could be right though
By:

Another twist in the nfc...giants loss no surprise..the packers win flattered them.

Redskins in with a great shot of the division...may only need to win 2 more game to win this division with the giants schedule...skins win the division even if they tie now Shocked

Some very odd prices around. Green Bay at 11 look huge considering they now are on course for 2nd / 3rd seeding. Meanwhile, SF get found out and are still 7? Atlanta and Chicago look overpriced NFC wise also, whilst Baltimore and Pittsburgh have suffered from a huge overreaction. Pittsburgh are going to have to win at 3 from Bal, Den, Hou and NEP to get to the Superbowl, let alone win it. Meanwhile, Baltimore could still find themselves with the #2 seed and just 120 minutes from the Superbowl.

@TRM. Feel you have hit the nail on the head. Out of the two of San Fransisco at 7.0 and the pack at 11.0 its a no brainer. My only concern is that in the winter months pack have less of a running game but I like there final four games a whole lot more than San Fransisco. I have topped up again.

Cowboys @ Bengals and Ravens @ Redskins this week are two match ups what have massive implications for both the nfc and afc playoff picture.

In what appeared to be a 'bore fest' of a play off scramble, it now seems this is heading into week 17.

For me 10-6 is needed in both conferences, 9-7 might sneak it in the nfc.

Still the cowboys for me.

d13phe....there's nothing official on Matthews, thought he would have been back last week.....McCarthy seems quiet on him as well Confused.

Another blow for the Packers .....they finally get running back James Starks healthy and playing well the last couple of weeks and he gets injured and probably going on IR Cry.....He'll be their third running back to go on IR this season and are left with only Alex Green on the roster who has any playing time.

So much for the Packers finding a running game to take the pressure off the O line Sad

Is it me or does there seem to be more league wide injuries than usual this year?
