evening all,

have found picking tight looking games for the draw working well for me this week, so tonight will have singles, doubles and treble on the la, atl and sj matches.

Been watching the islanders game, deservedly ahead, you can see why they have been free scoring, they shoot the puck, get in the keepers face and support is excellent, however can leave them exposed.

Anyway great to watch and if you tune in for highlights watch for the islanders breakaway when the blues keeper runs out to meet attacker at the blue line.  Laugh

Love to know what Sabre's bench had to say during timeout when they were 4 vs 3.  FFS they were absolutely flying then go to bits against 3 skaters.  Crazy game

This lunchtime puck drop theory always prevents me getting involved in these early games tbh , think mentally the home team is up against it and it's never factored into the price , that said it doesn't mean the home team can't win just that they may not be the best of value.

If you ask the Islander players they would probably say what theory  Laugh

Only bet I'll definitely have later is Edmonton to win in Denver....

Toying with overs in Boston - may be an exciting game and the price about unders has been squeezed down to nothingness.

Good luck, gonna watch the Argie bargies as can see no bet in next match up Grin

Gonna be a few fired up teams playing later now after that Flyers defeat and the 4 teams breathing down Flyers necks are all playing each other....Pens @ Boston and Habs @ Tampa Happy

BOSTON to beat the Penguins in RT

The Penguin team hitting the ice these days is not the same team that started the 2010-2011 season.  Injuries to key players have meant coaches and management have had to juggle lines in an attempt to create depth.

Boston and Pittsburgh have met three times this season, the visitors winning each time.  Boston have been under performing at home when compared to their road record but I feel that despite their equal records, Boston is more primed for the last month of the season.

Over the past eight days, Pittsburgh have had four road games all go to overtime.  Throw in the travel and you have a team working extra hours.  Meanwhile, Boston returned home on Thursday morning with six road victories to beat Tampa that night and had Friday off.

As of two hours before game time, there is still no word on which goalie will be starting for Boston.  But both Rask and Thomas are playing excellent hockey (both facing 30+ shot games / though it should be noted that Boston's shots against average is lower when Thomas is playing), so I'm going forward on the bet without final team line-ups (no new injuries from Boston as of 2PM this afternoon).

No better time to improve their home record.  I'm taking Boston in RT (sixty minutes) at 5/6.

Good luck on your plays tonight.

1-1 after 2 in LA.  Canucks leading shots 27-12 (although that is skewed  by pps).  All to play for but think Van look just to have tto much.  Fingers crossed

Over the past eight days, Pittsburgh have had four road games all go to overtime.

Apologies.....three of the four have gone to OT.  Good luck tonight.

Yes been watching it mate , still 12 mins to go but could easily finish 1-1 this , both teams will want to guarantee at least a point.

Good luck  Happy

Thought the kings were pretty impotent, both full strength and on powerplay.  Vancouver now +34 in 3rd period !!

Yes Kings need to re-visit the strategy and work out how to get the best out of Penner

Is it a lay of the sharks for yoy hayden in reg or are you going to chance something bigger?  I might be interested in tampa and boston.  As you said much motivation following the philly result.

Mind made up BOS / TPA double. Good luck
By:

When: 05 Mar 11 23:01
Just a lay of Sharks in regulation at odds on for me tonight , at those odds no need for any heroics tbh but it's the toughest of the 4 game road run tonight and even a defeat in regs and a point in L.A on Monday will give them 4 pts from 4 games against the rest of the division on the road , sure they would have settled for that.
The following 7 game home run all against their main rivals will make or break the play-off run for Sars but what a golden opportunity for them with Richards back from injury.

Really struggling to stay up tonight after two consecutive 6am finishes , totally knackered tonight.

The weird thing though Swardean is all 4 teams chasing Flyers are playing each other so any extra motivation could come from any of the 4

Yeah, didnt work out for in that bet.  Hope you have stayed up and are enjoying this  (sharks/stars) hayden.  Great 3rd period from stars.  Hope they can hold on, 6 mins left and forum bets in the balanceHappy
By:

When: 06 Mar 11 05:10
Yes great result for Stars deservedly winning in San Jose 3-2 , that's 3/3 for the streak and it's on to L.A on Monday where in all probability it's another opposition regulation lay , the prices have been good so far as Dallas have been the outsider for all 3 games so no heroics required for a potential 11 game streak Happy

drew , great call for the Oilers   Grin

Things really seem to be heating up between these two teams and ideally we'll see a lot of PPs tonight.
By:
Hayden
When: 07 Mar 11 23:11
Too tough call a call for me Benrik tbh , gaining at least 1pt here is crucial for both teams as a regulation defeat would be a bad result indeed , on that basis it's a game that could stay a tie IF it's level with a fair bit to go.

Good luck guys  Happy

Thats a good way to think about it. Quite a fast pace so far but no real chances for either side.
By:
Hayden
When: 07 Mar 11 23:22
You can visibly see the strategy change as the game gets in and around the 3rd period between teams close in the standings at this stage of the season , both start playing " hunt the mistake " instead of trying to make anything happen.
Said enough about Caps & unders over the last couple of months tbh so we'll see what happens.

tbh i couldnt believe the price of unders tonight i had 1.85..dont get that considering the prices of around 1.7s for some less obvious unders for the last 2-3 nights... and this was the caps we are talking about here!
