toronto are fkin hammering philly here and have just scored2-2..bobrovsky has kept philly in it!

Same in Washington Dr, the Blues taking it to the caps and unlucky to be behind. The 1/2 caps not looking great at the moment.
|
|
By:
Caps are the biggest over rated side in the league imo..horrible team with no offence
|
|
By:
Amazing really with the "dream team" of ovy, backstrum and semin,
|
|
By:
If Caps don't make it deep into the play-offs this season after their change of strategy to sacrifice the offense then Bruce is absolute toast for certain
|
|
By:
Tampa having the best of it so far but that with the benefit of penalties, however I am expecting the typical Bruins 3rd period charge and still would swap my position.

*wouldn't

Thats 3 times the bruins have hit the pipe
![]() powerplay, now take advantage... but pp defence been great by both so far |
|
By:
still 8 mins to go but at that stage now when both teams will want to keep 1pt out of the game and take their chances in OT , remembering they are level points in the standings behind Flyers
|

By:
There's your goal guys , hope you hold on

Impossible angel from Lukic, great composure

Well done guys , some good calls there

Yes Dr seems to have cleaned up tonight and drewboy weighing in with the wild. Are you going to Chelt Hayden?
|
|
By:
Washington now been involved in 24 unders in their last 29 games
![]() No mate not this year , was invited to hospitality but tbh i'd rather stay up all night watching Hockey if I had to choose , luckily i'm a full time punter these days so I can please myself as long as the wife permits me ![]() |
|
By:
Nice one, fantastic you can make it pay. Discipline prevents it being a realistic option for me, and even if I was consistantly making money, the lack of guaranteed income and the constant pressure to win would be no good for me. Plus I have a great job and salary anyway.
We hit Chelt every year (Wed/Thurs) and have paid for the trip with Buena Vista for the last 2 years. In the pertemps again, off a feather weight, expect visor to be fitted and claimer on board, trainer has top weith to keep horse on a ideal weight. Fingers crossed again. Struggling to keep up, so off to bed, hope you have a successful night and speak tomrrow. |
|
By:
Final stat before I go, in the last 22 completed nhl matches, there have been 20 unders (5.5) and just 2 overs!!!
|
|
By:
OK mate catch you tomorrow
![]() Fantastic looking late games tonight , Staples centre will be buzzing tonight if as expected Penner makes his debut , Sharks entertaining an in-form Wings is a statement game and always a great battle whilst the game in Vancouver is a puzzler , can't quite believe Nashville didn't trade a goal scorer from somewhere on last Mondays trade deadline tbh as they look woefully light offensively. Good luck if you're playing ![]() |
|
By:
Thanks again for that horse earlier Swardean , quality stuff
![]() |

well won a whopping $10 on the night. Habs game was key, can't believe the flyers blew two leads to the leafs.
Heat blew a 20+ lead to the magic, but i hedged it with a double that'll put me up $150 on the night if denver also wins. God i hate basketball, but it's easier bet than the NHL. ;p |
|
By:
Swardean - its a real shame about its mark - could have been a massive plot given the weight it had to give up as a 4yo.
As you say the race tonight may have been a better bet in hindsight. It does look as though another furlong would suit. That said the 2 were well clear so depending how good the winner was it could have been over the ideal distance. I'll watch tonight's race with interest, hoping that something wins by miles for you. Will be a painful watch if they finish in a heap. Thanks again mate ![]() |

By:
One bet for tonight guys?
|
|
By:
Just watching last nights highlights - 'Lucic - over a pile of humanity'
Classic!! |
|
By:
Why aint you guys watching some real hockey on SS2? Lets go DEVILS Lets go!!
![]() Its quite depressing watching this standard of hockey compared to the NHL, the speed and skill level are just miles apart, and with teams only playing with 3 lines the fitness levels arent there either. /0\ What your thoughts on the 2nd 'devils' in tonights match up? |
|
By:
I've had a stellar day - probably never to be repeated - on the nags and am too drunk now to sensibly bet on tonight's games, but.....
Surely unders in NJ/Pens game at evens looks pretty good value, even with the bar being set half a point lower? Also, Rangers are looking a truly stuffy outfit lately and Sens look to have a new lease of life - the Sens at odds against will do on ML Cardiff, if you ever watch hockey live its a whole lot faster than you think and pretty exciting - I'll take you up in conversation when I sober up - a Durham Wasps fan from more than 20 years back, Christ I feel old saying that ![]() |
|
By:
Yes I agree mate its much more exciting live, i used to go to the devils games regular, only get to the odd home game these days, I meant the difference in speed from watching the nhl regular on the tv, just seems miles apart, and quite rightly so i suppose with the difference in both leagues. Is it as big as premier league to conference in football terms or slightly less?
|

By:
evening all,
fully agree with drewboy (though beware, am also drunk) that unders in nj is the stand-out. finding it hard to see calgary losing too. gl tonight |

Evening guys
Sticking with the planned streak tonight and playing Dallas to get at least 1pt in Anaheim. Good luck all ![]() |

CHICAGO -1.5 over the Huricanes
Word in from Chicago is that after 24 straight starts, Cam Ward is getting time off to rest up till Carolina play Atlanta on Wednesday. The plan is to have him play the balance of the season to increase the chances of remaining in the eight play-off spots. That isn't to say that they have given up on the night but back-up goalie Justin Peters is getting his first start since the 9th of January and has only made four appearances for sixty minutes. Eight of the last ten wins by the Hawks have been by two or more goals and that positive stat stretches back further if you want. With players making solid contributions on all three lines, Justin Peters will have a challenging task to hold off the Hawks. RT is available at 4/5 if some feel the game will be tighter. But I think a solid value play for the -1.5 at 7/5. Best of luck with your Friday selections. |
|
By:
Too easy that Devils unders again guys especially against a fairly toothless Pens at the moment , don't think they'd have hit overs if they played all night , well done cheeky
![]() Too knackered to stay up for the late game and a long day tomorrow so bedtime for me ![]() |
|
By:
Can't believe i'm still up just couldn't sleep with Dallas on live , just finished 3-3 in regulation so that's 2/2 on the Dallas streak , pleased I chose the safest option by laying the opposition in regs tonight as that price was easily good enough in difficult games , will be doing the same for the games at Sharks and Kings in the next couple of days , then re-assess before the home stretch that follows.
Thank god I don't have to sweat out OT which has just started ![]() Good call Chicago bt the way SHAPES , very easy win ![]() |
|
By:
Well done Hayden and drewboy, good wins tonight. I almost played the stars (ML) but thankfully decided I needed some sleep last night. Like you say, if I know the game is happening live and I have a bet on, I cant sleep and have to keep checking my phone!!

Chicago
![]() Nice when a read comes together. As one who was a goalie till the age of 18, I felt for Justin Peters. A goal against on the first shot of the night, one later off of a defense man that was going wide but overall, he looked rusty as a keeper would with only four starts. Seven in a row for Chicago. A fantastic last quarter surge. |
|
By:
PS: Chicago defense kept Carolina to 20 shots. That will be a stat that could indicate unders on a couple of upcoming games.

Great stuff guys
![]() Just a quick comment on the choice of bets available that may best suit the selection you've made , the choices are obviously..... ...handicap...regulation...moneyline...or lay the opposition in regulation , all depending on several factors , I often use the term as with Dallas earlier of " playing Dallas to get at least a point " which obviously means lay the opposition in regs but that said the " double chance " bet available with many bookmakers these days is the identical thing with no commission and invariably gives a better value option than just diving in to lay with commission and the sometimes inevitable discrepancy between back and lay. The time to be a bit more cautious and play the double chance option is illustrated well in the current batch of Dallas road games in that the opposition are shorter odds , the tie is always a massive player in these divisional games or in particular games with a close conference standing at this stage of the season so i'd much rather have the tie on my side in certain games. My entire strategy is built around a really high strike rate blended in with the perceived best value and sometimes it pays not to be over greedy and remember the season is a very very long one. The above is everyone's idea of a strategy guys tbh and each to their own indeed , it's just beneficial sometimes to remember the best price available for a team to win is not necessarily the best way to go about backing them. Good luck later , lots of early starts today with the opening game only just over 4 hrs away ![]() |

Unders in Phili
Islanders to beat Blues on ML Catch you later lads |
|
By:
Early games look trappy. I thought Blues were unlucky not to get something from the caps game and that could be ok form (assuming you think the caps are all that!!). So will leave that game.
I know lets bet with the heart. Vancouver M/L win. This to keep the Win/Loss streak going. |
