So far so good, caps look like doing the business.  Oilers only 1 behind and pressing.  The speculative oilers play could pay for you guysl

Watching some good skating in Montreal.

Been at work so have to aftertime my bet on SJ, far from home yet 1-0 after 2.

In the next game Anaheim are a strong fancy for me.  Not enough forward planning when I suggested Atlanta and Carolina could be opposed, they play each other so at least one of the teams will get a lift!!

Good luck folks Grin

Sharks  Love

Was looking forward to this game all week tbh as an acid test for Sharks , 3 main components to this win for me in that Stars really softened up Bruins in that ugly game 48 hrs ago , Sharks resurgence which means they've now earned pts in all of the last 8 games and last but not least the dreaded 1pm puck drop for the home team which seems a goal deficit before they start these days.
Sharks bandwagon rolls into Washington next on Tuesday for another stern test.

Busy night tonight , good luck later  Happy

Ducks doing OK, 2-0 with 12 minutes to go.

Leaving these up as I take my leave.....

Buffalo to win the first (absolutely huge price at 29/20)
Minnesota to win in 60, going to keep following until the bubble bursts.
Atlanta ML - lesser of 2 evils atm, hoping that Carolina are gone at the game Devil
Calgary - for the same reasons as Minnesota.

Good luck Grin

Thanks Hayden, can't beleive they are not showing the Caps v Pens game live on ESPN, what a fabulous starter course that would be before the superbowl.

Yes mate , mind you every game is live for me with subscription and that's a downfall for occasional punters I think as they just look for the live TV game so their selection process is severely limited.

Awesome night ahead tonight for me and as I was up late for the drama in Calgary last night i'm off for a couple of hours sleep before the 5.30pm puck drop and expect to be richly entertained until the Superbowl presentation much later on.

Now we have entered February I would say that if using scheduling as an integral part of their selection process it may be advisable to look at the conference standings now as a first option as opposed to the divisional positions , whilst the div games will always have that extra edge the importance will have been surpassed by the conference positions for certain teams at this stage of the season as some of the divisions are either done and dusted or at least don't have the crucial must win factor for BOTH teams.

Good luck tonight  Happy

You stayed up late for Flames/Kings Hayden?  I caught the start before work Cry.  And the shootout CryCry

Hopefully making up with things with unders in Washington (Cool), 2-0 after 2nd, and again partially aftertimed due to work commitments Devil

Probably banned talking hockey tonight ahead of the Superbowl, but going to risk small bets on both the later games being ties, and therefore shootouts in front of empty seats Laugh

No idea who will win the big one, just know that Green Bay have cost me enough this season!  Good Luck

Yes didn't go to bed until well after 6am last night , the old chestnut's deliered the goods again and it's now 8 from last 9 home ice unders for Caps with the oerall stats speaking for themselves , think this time last season the game I just watched may have finished up something around the 6-3 mark , good news is that the prices seem largely unaffected and 1.95 easily available yet again  Happy

Hello again guys

Glad to see New Jersey playing hockey how we all know they can. Can they make the playoffs? Seems unlikely but i'm hoping for a minor miracle!
Also great to see Pete Forsberg back for the Av's. What a player he was back in the day..

Gonna go for a lay of Detroit on ml tonight. Losing 4 out of their last 6 at home and not scoring in their last 2 i feel the injuries may be catching up with them. Although if Datsyuk and Holmstrom are back tonight which is being suggested i may reavaluate. New york have not been playing much better losing their last 4 but feel they are worth a chance tonight as they've done well on the road this season.

Lay detroit ml 1.94

Good luck guys..

Agree clark great to see Devils at least attempting to salvage something from the season , even with the best part of 30 games to go they're still 16 pts off 8th spot so they'll still need pts virtually every time they hit the ice.

Looking through rosters for tonight  Happy

When: 08 Feb 11 01:18
Hello Benrik and good luck.

Too busy at work to keep track of it all - looks like a madhouse in Toronto again, 5-4.

Part of the reason I'm going under in Phoenix is the state Colorado are in.  2-0 at the end of 1st would be perfect for me, then Coyotes just lap it up.  Thats the plan, and with overs/unders you can always get lucky if things don't pan out as you envisaged.

When: 08 Feb 11 01:28
Leafs are way to unpredictable for me Drew. Have been for the last few years now. They do seem to be playing quite a few overs though.
By:
drewboy
When: 08 Feb 11 01:44
Don't know if you've noticed on the thread Benrik, but one thing you can predict is that they play the first period half asleep.  If you go back a few pages have a look at the stats I dug out.  I know its too simplistic, but they are effectively odds on to lose the first period this season purely on results, whether home or away.  Has been my best source of income from sports betting in years.  I'm working on a new team but may run out of regular season before proving it properly unfortunately....

These look really tough matches to call tonight, struggling to find an edge in any of the games.....but having slept through today's racing will have a try

Toronto Devil (not so much confidence tonight (17/10), although rate Islanders a better chance without the broken faced Del Pietro Cool)
Very small treble Panthers/Bolts/Devils, pays a bit better than 9/2.

Enjoy lads, hopefully chat later Grin

Evening all some good matchup tonight.

2 bets for me.  Fancy Devils to continue their excellent run against a unconvincing Carolina.

Also Washington to beat San Jose (sorry Hayden).  Ws thinking unders again but line seems to have caught up with recent events and not interested at 8/11 as an early goal could make this an explosive one.  Also, thinking this could be full of penalties which is never great for the line.

Good luck tonight any players.

Our paths are fated never to cross mate , main reason is probably that my punting is largely afternoons and after midnight so the evenings are pretty much sport free for me and although logged on don't read too much.
Think the best thing though is to digest all the regular opinions on here , read between the lines then combine with your own views and see what you get , the best thing about this thread for me is there's no statements like...banker...free money...cert e.t.c and the majority of the guys posts are more about small trends that occur through the season rather than the banker of the night kind of strategy , consequently the guys look to make a profit over a glut of games rather than any one-off.

Not much help mate but reading and digesting the thread content on a regular basis tells you what the regulars are playing more or less without having to post in bold on the night.

Good luck tonight  Happy
