I mean, good home record, big home game before the break, have been playing well lately and good OT record.

That's the game of the night WAD for sure , since Pavelski's return Sharks have won 4 on the bounce and also have a good recent record against Kings , 2nd period hockey seems a bonanza for Sharks at the moment , their P2 stats are good anyway but 2 games ago in Vancouver they hit 25 shots which set a new franchise record of most shots in a period , then unbelievably they equalled their own record 48 hrs later on home ice v Wild.
When you consider the divisional standings this match is already huge and if the game is level into the 3rd period then neither team would be keen on losing a regulation min 1pt against their competitors.
As you've stated it's the last game until Tuesday and for Kings it's the last home ice for a while as they go on the road for 10 games on the bounce.
All results possible here tbh and whilst i've a hunch the resurgent Sharks will get at least 1pt I wouldn't dream of putting anyone off any outcome.

Still looking through rosters for the other games , good luck all  Happy

Without the crosby factor what price do you fellas think the penguins would be for the stanley cup?
By:
Hayden
When: 27 Jan 11 01:05
They're currently a best priced 6.0 Harry to lift the trophy and if Sid was suddenly ruled out for the season i'd still be uncomfortable laying anyone above 7.0 , main reason is they're a talented unit anyway and full of key players that have been there and done it over the last few seasons , also have a brilliant coach in Bylsma who knows exactly how to get it done strategy wise.
Whilst i'm a huge fan of Crosby there would be bigger setbacks for other teams losing MVP rated players who would really struggle to bridge the gap , namely Stamkos ( Tampa ) Ovechkin ( Caps ) Datsyuk ( Wings ) and you could probably name several others that should have a bigger % increase on the teams drifting price.

Sid still sets the standard for all that's good about the sport in my view but looking at it from another angle the current 6.0 about Pens is sure to contract considerably along the way whether they win the trophy or not.

Can't get a read on the Canucks tonight. Leaning towards a regulation win and possibly the over but Vancouver hasn't played Nashville yet this year and tbh I cant even remember seeing the Preds play at all.

Love watching Flyers lately Hary with their awesome scoring potental , frightening thing about Flyers is they're rated 10 places higher than at this time last year , comforting thought for their fans considering they're last seasons runners-up.

Guys

I've bored you to death with all this Caps strategy stuff , stats and all the other chat , so promise this is the last mention....

After their game in Atlanta tonight that's 24 Unders from the last 30 games played and even more recent it's 13 Unders from the last 15 games  [;)]

well are you using this info to win hayden? you must have spreadsheets coming out of yer behind hayden lol.

Ive been watching the flyers and they do look impressive, once the knockout begins il have a little wager on them...prices dont seem to move much outright or am i talking rubbish?whenever i look they never seem to move lol.

Benrik , looks a good battle on tonight for your boys , Pred's seem to have a good road strategy these days and won 7 from last 10.
By:
Hayden
When: 27 Jan 11 01:35
No they don't move much at this stage of the season Harry and no real need , more reason to move for a long term injury to an MVP than any one result ,that's why bookmakers are happy to go to bed and leave the Outright and Conference betting open , that'll all change around March though.

Predators at the end of a long road trip may be looking past this one. Going to have a small play on the over.

Well that went according to plan , we chatted earlier about Sharks 2nd period strength and to watch for both teams protecting their 1pt if it's level sometime in the 3rd period.
Sharks won the 2nd period 2-1 and as it was 2-2 with 14 mins to go both teams seemed happy to protect their minimum 1pt and take their chance in OT , in these tight divisional games when points are crucial never underestimate the chance of the tie in regulation , OT started as we speak but job done so i'm recording it for the morning.

No games until Tuesday night now due to the all-stars break with that game at 9pm UK time on Sunday ( look out for specials in that one as there's always some value about )

Have a good weekend and back on Tuesday  Happy

evening all,

glad to see return to normal business tonight, although a little worried that the all-star break might result in a few odd results (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!).

Couple of good calls drew Happy

Sharks storm back after going 0-3 v Coyotes , JP scores a couple and the and the growing strength as the game develops is becoming a real trend for Sharks , all they need now is for Heatley to find his A game with the grudge match in Anaheim tonight as good a place as any.
Pens mentality in tight games showed through again in New York and the Devils road to recovery continues.

Did say I wouldn't mention it again but can't help myself , Washington unders  Love

Wings didn't play yesterday. Lidstrom got his break.
Sens are tanking and lost a hard fought game yesterday. Playing the wings in regular time will net you twice your bet.
That's a good payout considering where these two teams currently stand.

Wings in regulation.

Montreal showed some guts last night alright, and may be able to raise themselves again.

Vancouver possibly needed the all-star break more than most.  back in the groove last night and hopefully too good again tonight in a probable low-scorer.

Hayden, you would not believe me if I begun to tell you how lucky I got last night, and not only with the hockey!  And I'm not about to put a hex on it by telling! Grin  The two above are on the ML

Good calls last night guys and will be a hard act to follow tonight  Happy

From my own perspective the Sharks bandwagon continues and also got my wish with the Heatley opener , must have a chance of causing a shock in Boston on Saturday as well with the dreaded home ice lunchtime puck drop not favouring Bruins.

Thankfully 5 of the 6 games tonight start at midnight so an earlier sleep option than normal , some good match-ups later with a close looking divisional in New York , Stars @ Bruins could be classed as a statement game these days and Nashville must have a chance of causing an upset in Philly with their excellent game plan on the road.

As always though the rosters need checking much later on , good luck  Happy

Much, much tougher tonight.  3 small punts here.....

Upwardly mobile Calgary to keep on rolling in Atlanta who have hit the skids
Devils to continue their upward curve at The Garden
Toronto.......Devil

Good night and good luck

Cheers Hayden - I finally realised how to work the new forum, so you may have a message if I was successful.

2 teams that really seem to have lost the plot are Atlanta, and more especially, Carolina.  Cam Ward's body language was shocking last night - and Carolina may be worth opposing until showing signs of recovery.  Still laughing that there are 20 teams ahead of Minnesota to win the thing.  Pretty sure they won't but odds of 100/1 are beginning to look insulting.

Catch you later

Can't watch any of it tonight so only small bets.

Don't fancy St Louis at all tonight - laying in 60.
New Jersey face an impossible task....unless they keep winning which they may well do again tonight (carried enough luck last night though!)
Tonnes of goals at Joe Louis

Good luck folks Grin
