blimey drewboy, that's got me sweating! (seriously though, thanks, I don't find time to look at the stats in depth, and rarely get to watch any games, just keep tabs on the scores every day and make a few mental notes, so this is really helpful).

perhaps we should both be going for the draw!

thought the rangers have had a fairly tough run of opponents of late, and too late anyway.

let's hope at least one of us gets it right.

Evening guys!

I think Leafs' odds is huge in the market. It seems a low scoring game but I have a strong belief on Leafs here to win a game. I know they have been a lack of scoring a couple of games lately but they get Versteeg back in business and he can be the cure for that disease. Rags have Dubinsky out which makes them lots of trouble in special units both. Gaborik has not scored the last 8 so this is not a perfect news for him either. I take LEAFS ML tonight!

Well, well Monster was the regular himself by allowing 3goals in 1st after Leafs replaced him on Giguere.

I fancy also PANTHERS ml & FLAMES ml as well tonight hoping to get even something right.. Laugh

Obvious let down for Jackets tonight. Shots so far 1-12 in the half way 1st period & Panthers leading already by 2-0 with a couple of even strenght goals. B2B for CBJ and the last 3 games went shootouts plus Mason in the net it can't be so strange though tbh.  Laugh

Another unsolid goalie Monster spoiled my bet in 2.26 allowing 3 goals. Leafs started ok with 2pp chances but you can't win with the goaltending like that. Anyway Giguere allowed one more in 1st and it's hard to convince them to come back anymore in this game. Btw, Gaborik 2+1 so far..

First game back off long road trip for the Flames tonight -- usually a let-down spot. Minny have won two division games in a row as well.

May lay the flames in regulation

It was not any let down for Jackets. They were just starting slow. Still 2-1 for Pants late 2nd so far though but CBJ really started to play as they did yesterday at TBL. Perhaps they dads have something to do with that.. [;)]

Yep stand out game that is hayden. Haven't been that surprised by their mini slump recently (by their standards) after such a good run. Hope New Jersey can continue their good form and Avs vs Preds looks a cert over 5.5 to me.

Another tie for Jackets in front of their dads 2-2 after regulation.

A better team won as Jackets sealed a victory after OT by 3-2. As I wrote, they were starting pretty slowly and were down a half way 1st 0-2 (shots 1-12). Pants had their chances(fe pp) to make add their lead but CBJ survived. After a late reduce(1-2) in 1st the game picture changed and the rest of the game was just like a mouse vs cat game. Well deserved victory for Jackets must really admit it.

Btw, I would trade Kipper to somewhere before trading deadline. It's time him to move on there's still few more seasons left him to play but somewhere else. Flames will never trade Iginla so Kipper is the only one whom they could have some valuable players back. Besides Karlsson has already shown he's capable of stepping 1st goalie and he's more younger.

It's time to Flames to take a momentum by killing that 4mins pk totally.

No matter they have only won 1 out of the last 7 in regulation. However, no losses the last 5gms in reg. CGY have now picked up the momentum and they need one goal now.

Should be all over now at 0-3 although long way to go , nice last 10 games for Wild if they hold out with a 7/10 record and they've played at least 3 cup contenders along the way.

Toronto Devil......goes without saying (39/19 Shocked)
Carolina to tie Devil

These bets are rather larger....

Boston to beat Buffalo
San Jose to beat Vancouver
Tampa Bay to beat Atlanta

above are all 60 minute bets....

Good Luck, a free man for 2 weeks after tomorrow so hopefully around to watch a bit at night Grin

kinda agree drewboy except with Tampa won`t win in Atlanta..don`t really rate Tampa...with a -10 goal difference and 3rd place its a bit strange..

Evening guys!

Trying to bounce back after down to earth bets last night with these ones:

Philly  -1,5
Bruins ML
Isles v Caps O5,5
Stars ML
Canucks v Sharks O5,5

Best of luck!

Philly starting to mess it up after leading 3-0. Sens reduced quickly: at first by a shortie (Michalek) then soon after that as Foligno was left all alone with Bobrovsky. Philly leading 3-2 anymore after 2nd.

Sabres also teasing Bruins (2-2 after 2nd). Isles keep on ruining their pp chances one after another..Caps just waiting mistakes leading only 2-1 after 2nd though..

That's true, Benrik. I can't think about it that's more likely than bounce back. It's always hard to play the 1st after roadie especially now for Canucks as their roadie did not gone more or likely as expected. I was too shy to try it (Sharks) but took O5,5 thinking Canucks play as usual (at home) score more goals but also allow them as well.

Philly 5-2 [;)]

Canucks looked awfully fatigued over the last few games of that road trip as well. Will be cheering for Vancouver as a fan so won't be too gutted if the bet loses.

I could see the over coming in as well. Luongo's always good for a few.

Yes ND , despite that though Flyers have a devastating scoring potential these days , seem as explosive as the Caps were last regulation season.

It's amazing how unbalanced team Bruins is nowadays as Rask in on the net. Remember how good he played last season but I guess Thomas' excellency this season has made him unsure. His skills have not gone anywhere but he's not mentally the same goalie anymore too bad. He would have challenged Miller anytime then.

Caps & Boudreau have changed their system somehow during their horrible losing streak last month. Former over team has become regular under team. They did not have to score but just wait tonight once again. However, they got lucky Isles is so lousy pp team.

Not touched on Devils but must be pleased on their coming lately. Even though Pens have their key player absences few more weeks ago Devils could not have won it. Lemaire's touch for that team really starting to show. Too bad they are still impossible mission to go if we thinking about the playoffs.
By:
Hayden
When: 21 Jan 11 02:44
Well we agreed all along the personnel is available and tbh even in their bad run I was always reluctant to lay a team with that talent no matter how bad form they were in.
By:
Hayden
When: 21 Jan 11 02:50
Totally agree Caps playing different style of hockey these days and were as last season they were " flat track bullying " teams all over the place this season they're grinding out results in matches they would have either won 6-1 or lost this time last season.
When the season started I rubbished their play-off chances due to their style of play and thought their mentality was far short of what's required , having seen the transformation in strategy now i'm not so sure.
Bruce knew he had to change something though tbh as that set up needs to see some success at the business end of the Stanley Cup soon.

BB must be smart coach (not genius though) under that pressure what definitely was there during that losing streak. There's not many coaches who can even deal that situation but also can admit the system of his is wrong and try to change it. I must respect on him the way he act. He had a job of his on stake. The staff of his must trust on him as well. So the players who really like him.

Anyway, they have not won anything yet. But the direction is right.
