It depends on how Canucks still want to play in this situation. They have another div game waiting on the next 2 days at home and they still can get some flow there to play a decent the rest of the period I think.

Amazing if they can't spoil mr.nobody's chance to have a shutout.

Easy to say now but as a regular follower of the Canucks they are always pretty dismal in Minnesota, for whatever reason.
Any thoughts on this morning's early games? Carolina@Boston NJD@NYI |

You are right, Benrik. Canucks lost now 4th cosecutive time in Min. I thought the last 3 were something to do with the goalies. However, Backstrom was not there at all and all the credit Khudobin(or mr.nobody as I wrote last night) he did some key saves in situations where it was still a chance Canucks might have chance the course of the game.
One more reason was a fact Wild was more desperate to win after 3 straight loss. Their key players (Havlat & Koivu) played great as they have to if they want to win more regularly. They also have a luck on their side as all winning teams must usually have. Their 1st goal should have not been count because of interference of the goalie but both referees were watching on puck that time. One interesting point was Van started very slow: in the beginning of 1st period Wild was leading shots 9-0 before Canucks started to create any chances. After 1st shots were 11-7 for Wild. Don't know was is re-preparation by coach which went wrong or what but the true is they were not as sharp as regularly. Even Sedins made mistakes: one of them even stopped the game in the bluelinein their own pp in 3rd as he was sure the puck went out of their attack zone. Strange because linesmen are usually yelling if so in the situation like this. I guess it was soon before Wild's short handed goal which Canucks don't usually allow so often as they are excellent pp team. Anyway, Wild was better team yesterday and deserved to win. Early games already started so I don't want to comment anything about them afterwards. 6 games totally will be played today. 4 of them divisional games which makes it more interesting but more difficult estimate as well. BOS v CAR is also H&H game as they will meet again tomorrow. |

Didn't see much of the Canucks yesterday tbh. I was flipping between them and the Patriots. Bad sports day for me yesterday with Pats, Seahawks and Canucks all losing.
Glad there was no totals market available in Bruins game as I think I would have been on unders. |

Agree with what you say guys , also think there's a certain mindset about some of these schedules and the 4th of a 5 game road trip after visiting the big cities for the 1st 3 is not mentally ideal for me , added to the fact it's not a great match-up for them anyway.
Sure to see a different Canucks in Colorado in all probability before they return home. |

Just get in before face-off
I'm having a larger than normal bet tonight on San Jose - and before midnight (for once) I'll find out if I've taken leave of my senses. Had the tie in Boston earlier ![]() |

looking good for the Sharks so far. On the over myself.

WD Benrik, and phew, they make you sweat for every penny

Well done guys
![]() Tough battle but you'd expect nothing less from a divisional game of such importance , they've looked more like the team they can be over the last 48 hts and JP's return has been the injection they were missing for me , Heatley looks a lot sharper and that Blues win no doubt gave them the confidence to win tonight. Now for the acid test to gauge their resurgence in Vancouver on Thursday ![]() |

Off to bed, but leaving a little up on Panthers to beat Atlanta who are really feeling the pinch.....
Stay lucky ![]() |

I'm on Trashers' side (only ml though) and also over for the same game.
![]() |
|
By:
Disappointed 1st period by Trashers still 0-0 though. Elsewhere excellent 1st by Habs - Flames had their chances but missed it as they did already against Leafs. No need for a chrystal ball before the game Cammalleri is going to be on his element against old team of his. I just like these kind of individuals.

You played any tennis tonight ND ?
Whilst we're on to tennis I only get involved in-play and have a list of 20 players that i've built a trading strategy around , worked well for me so I stick with it. So if you ask me what I fancy in the tennis pre-match it'll always be an if you put a gun to my head response as I won't be playing it myself. Good luck tonight ![]() |

Had a look at Kings/Stars... was leaning Stars but Kings seem to have their number in Dallas so may just watch.

Ty, Hayden. I will need all the luck I can get. That game goes on&on & looks like more&more russian roulette to me tbh.
As a passionate tennis follower I should have tried something but had been busy last couple of days sorry. I know your strategy works but wishing you the luck as well though. ![]() |

Habs win 5-4 in OT

Yes, it was nice one and obvious as they were starting to play again. Hoping Trashers get lucky in shootouts though..

By:
Phew, I got lucky this time. Did you see those guys smiling and relief after the shootout as they finally stopped their 4-game losing streak. I felt the same kind of relief after they were bounching back first with those big goals(2) without Pavelec on net and then in the shootout. Like I said it was a lucky call this time.

I guess I'm a client one decent(?) bookie company don't like to deal with. They somehow cancelled my Habs ml bet afterwards dont know the reason yet but believe me going to find it out. Do you guys have same kind of experiences with bookies? I'm sure you have. Pls send me a private msg if you don't want to answer in this forum. I appreciate it.

So so difficult tonight.
May be a mug but feel that Boston will beat Carolina again. Phili to beat Caps - a game to watch. Colorado are the one team that look a value price tonight imo. Early start so no viewing unfortunately - good luck ![]() |
|
By:
agree drewboy, can't find a single game I fancy picking the result of.
but angle for me is that carolina will want to make amends and come out fighting so will take them to win 1st period. also, been regularly backing against washington 1st period, so will go for that again. wouldn't do not to have a bet after all. good luck. gl tonight. |

Philly ML
Canes ML Canucks ML Lightning ML Also had Pens ML and Preds ML in mind but making a decision both in dying seconds. Oils ML attracts as well but the 1st after west roadie is the best possible idea for backing them. GL for every individual & every soul out there! ![]() |
|
By:
Only took the first 4 games as a single plus Philly ML/Lightning ML double.
|
|
By:
Have a bet on Avs ml but slept through the first period...
|
|
By:
A bit of disappointed by me as dropped of Pens (won 4-1) & Preds (leading after 2nd period 4-2) out of my bet slips.
However also was lucky enough to win with Lightning ML. Jackets played really well and I think they could have earn some more than they did. Shootout competition is always like slipping a coin to me so I must be satisfied to have some there. Philly almost blew my double as they were first the game totally in their hands when leading by 2-0 but all of a sudden Caps scored twice in 40secs in 3rd so they needed OT to find out who deserved to win there. I think the right team won that game though. Canes was damn better than a day earlier in H&H game against Bruins but lost once again. I guess shots 45-28 tell something who's responsible for the loss (should I say once again?). Thomas is really in awesome this season. One period left in Denver. Canucks have been leading 3 times but it's 3-3 after 2nd and that game is whole wide open one. CU in the evening again, guys! [;)] |

4-3 Avs final.
Now on to the tennis.. |

Hi guys
Well done tonight as looks a few winners posted , been swamped with a tennis match tonight , 2 players from my trading list played each other and one hit 1.01 and was beaten ![]() Saw some NHL amidst the tennis match but couldn't leave the market until now tbh ![]() |

evening all,
an angle on tonight's games - in three previous matches this year, rangers have led leafs at end of 1st period. NY not scoring highly at the moment, but in two of those three games two goals was enough. NY to win 1st period @ 11/8. Has anyone else thought of this I wonder? ![]() gl all |
|
By:
LOL cheeky - you won't believe this but I've just spent the last hour researching The Rangers first period stats. They have only led in 2 of the last 15 first periods
![]() ![]() .I am now really torn as to what to do!! Every time I watch them, The Rangers seem more and more like a team that grind down the opposition. On the other hand Toronto usually play the first period in sleeping bags! The more I look at it, the more the value looks with Toronto, given their recent improved 1st period performance. Sorry cf, but the 11/8 looks dismal value tonight (all things are relative, the price is probably right ) and I think I'll take the Leafs at 13/5. Doubtless I'll live to regret it.Calgary have seen 4 of their last 5 go the distance so hoping it can stretch that to 5/6 against Minnesota, who have been flattered by their last 2 scorelines.... The game in Florida is hurting my head to think about good luck lads |
