Evening guys

The most difficult to evaluate schedule of the season so far in my opinion , nothing springs out of scheduling criteria and I honestly couldn't rule out any result tonight.
Looked at the divisional games closely and decided they're that hard to call i'm playing the regulation Tie in the games @ Boston @ Nashville and @ Dallas , always that slightly better chance of a tie in the perceived tight divisional games with teams settling for their 1pt late on whilst wanting to deny major divisional opposition the chance of the 2pts , although it's reflected in the odds , I expect to get at least one correct which will guarantee 35% profit on the night but in all honesty won't be devasted if I don't get any as long as the games are exciting and there's an easier looking schedule tomorrow night anyway.

Best of luck guys  Happy

It was a tough programme last night mate and it's very rare I can't find a betting opportunity for myself out of 8 games , tonight looks a different proposition  Happy

Good evening all,

For tonight, I like Carolina at the Rangers. Last game to me showed how the rangers are still missing their key forwards and Carolina is still a little underrated at the moment. They have played well on the road and have a good shot tonight. Other leans I like would be Anaheim over NJ and Chicago over Edmonton in Regulation.

Good luck all.

Evening all

Some good tussles tonight , the other night I layed Pens in Tampa because of the scheduling and the proximity of this game at Flyers so I guess that should mean we see a different Pens performance tonight in theory.
The Devils game in Anaheim is a tricky one and the pick odds sum it up , the gut feeling here is that Devils look to keep it tighter as they can do on the road but the bigger reason I have a sneaky feeling for NJD is the fact Ducks play one of their biggest games of the season tomorrow night in San Jose , always a real grudge war that one.

At the moment it's either a lay of Flyers or Ducks in regulation , won't lay both so guess i'll have to flip a coin.

Good luck guys  Happy

I'm having a stab at this tonight as no Argie footy on cos an old president has died and I'm up until 7am.

My guess is Montreal at Islanders, outright at 2.88.  Canadiens beat them earlier in the weel and also pre-season (Laugh) and have won 3/4 away already.  They have started the season brightly enough.  Islanders have lost the last 2.  Not watched hockey for about 15 years when St Louis Blues were my team.  Don't even think they play now.

Anyway the Islanders were always carp back then so they might be again tonight.

Good luck folks - if I strike lucky it may rekindle my interest Grin

drewboy , St Louis Blues are a good side these days and on an upward curve with a young team , the current 40/1 for the Stanley Cup is an insult tbh and whilst it may be a year or two too soon for them I make them half that price at the most.

Good luck tonight  Happy

Did you ever play Hayden?

When I was a kid never missed a home Durham match in 2 years - wish I'd learned to skate.  Have a mate that was a GB international - went to watch Newcastle with him last year and he was mobbed!  Atmosphere crap compared to the pigeon sh!t filled holes at Durham and Whitley Bay though!

Canadiens win 3-1 Grin - they are flattered by the scoreline and I'll be surprised if I've seen any champions tonight.

Will play up a little on The Ducks - on the ML

May see you again Cool

and all that haven't won at first glance simply turn "i'm playing the regulation Tie in the games @ Boston @ Nashville and @ Dallas" into "I can't find a betting opportunity for myself out of 8 games"

honestly don't call nibbling 3 ties a betting opportunity mate in all honesty , staying up for 5 hours though sometimes you need a small interest even if you're disciplined enough not to have even one decent lay  [;)]

The first minute of the Pens-Flyers game was brilliant. Took about 15 mins to actually get through it because of all the fighting. Laugh

That was awesome last night delpiero7 , typical start to a divisional game and looking forward to more of the same in the Ducks @ Sharks game later , there's no love lost between those two and probably the most hated rivalry in the sport  Happy

Wow, just realized I hadn't checked in here in a couple weeks. Haven't had a bet in at least that time. Feels like the NHL is in the background a bit with MLB and NFL on and Vancouver only playing once in the last nine days.

Blackhawks to beat Rangers.

On the Flyers to beat the Canes after finding out Peters was starting the game in net. There is a site devoted just to finding out the starting goalies of every game [:o]

Peters is actually not bad unfortunately, who do you like in tonights game HAYDEN? I think the Texans are the value bet to be honest...

They probably are a safer bet on the h/cap , not sure the overs is as good a bet as everyone expects as 49.5 looks plenty to me considering there'll be strategy tweaks to compensate for the injuries and it is a divisional game after all.
There may be some value in laying Canucks in regulation at odds on later , Devils more than capable of getting something there and Vancouver go to Edmonton tomorrow for a divisional game.

Good start Flyers for you anyway  Happy

Canucks do have to play Edmonton tomorrow night but they will want to beat the Devils who are playing horribly right now. Parise is out for the Devils and the Canucks will want to keep their unbeaten regulation record at home in tact. They are coming off of a 6 day rest and I don't see past a win here.

Crikey had to sweat it out for that overs lay in the NFL but alas it looks as though Canucks are cruising the late game after 2 periods.

Looks a good call Canucks on your boys , well done winners  Happy
