I think the odds suggest that the two teams will have made defensive adjustments for this game and focus less on offense. I'm on Toronto tonight.

Need a big momentum shift fairly sharpish on Long Island, the Flyers are getting dominated. 2 unanswered goals for the Flyers, 2 more goals in Carolina and no more goals in Colombus. That's not asking for too much, is it? |

No Drew, whoever wins the shootout has one goal added to their total, no matter how many they score in the SO.
That is the one thing I hate about the NBA/NFL. Overtime can completely wreck your handicap or under/over bet. |

Infact, I was just reading up on overtime on Wikipedia. In they playoffs they have 20 min OT periods as opposed to 5 mins in the regular season. Also, they have no SO, so they keep going with OT until a team scores.
There have been instances of SIX 20 minute periods of overtime being needed to decide some games. |

When I used to watch years ago on Screensport (early days of sky) I remember a game going to a sixth period. Blokes couldn't skate really in the end

Nice call drew , do play the tie in regulation myself sometimes when it looks a tight divisional or conference game with only needing a 25% strike rate to show a profit in the longer term

Some cracking match-ups tonight that I'll miss due to early start at work. Still a novice, but to the untrained eye these look OK Montreal to win outright at 2.74 (think the Canadiens will be able to dampen the C'nuks offence tonight) Also a money line double of San Jose and Colarado. The Ducks are bound to be feeling the effects of the other night, and will struggle against a better (imo) side tonight. Good Luck |
