As usual,endless reams from Delbert.
I totally agree with saxon farm |

Fingers xd for as much rain as possible , same goes for Towcester .

They will most likely offer 4 places, though red and blue have only been giving 3 on the French Classics.
There could be a chance that AOB runs one of his others not listed above in the foursome that he’s mentioned. Jack - They WILL NOT bring Calandagan if there is any soft in the description. I could post the quote to confirm this but the trainers feels he doesn’t get the trip there at Epsom if it’s not fast. |

F*** off Delamoron and imbecile123 Between you dual handedly have ruined which should have been a sounding place of intelligent discussion. One is an autistic self obsessed prat, and the other is an insult to anyone with glimmer of horseracing knowledge.Up at 6am infesting every fred with utter inconsequential inane shíte. a concise and accurate critique. |

Here you go Jack
Coronation Cup (Gr. I – 2,400 m). “If the ground remains good, we’ll go to Epsom,” Francis Graffard |

George Scott has been waiting for soft and to step up Bay City Roller 20/1 since the start of the season.
Had Convergent miles behind in Germany over the trip. |

I have to concur with saxon farm.

Go have a love in and stay off the thread if you can’t discuss racing

You spend 6am > midnight everyday posting largely nonsense,do you ever leave the house?
|
|
By:
Discussing a race where you do not as yet know the runners or the going seems the way to go for Delbert but,as he doesn't actually bet, what else has he got to do
![]() |

By:
'Hugo', 'Delashay' does not post nonsense. He posts stuff others might not have cottoned on. He's detailed, experienced and does not promote lay betting. And, he does not get paranoia either if someone disagrees. I value his opinions and his posts.

Endorsement 100/1,looks , massively overpriced.
It’s got the best batting average of aidens without getting any 6s or 100s. He tends to run his best ones in the criterium at Saint Cloud,it was 2nd in a derby trial.keeps on against quicker ones at shorter distances. It’s got good solid form in good races,up with the pace, but out paced at the end. Breeding ok for cut in ground and distance.should run ok. |
|
By:
When considering O'Brien runners and soft ground I think it's worth bearing in mind that many of his 2yo's look like 3yo's so not at all surprising if they have the strength to cope better with testing ground in their first season. Some of those soft ground wins might be a touch misleading.

Endorsement been 2nd,3rd to 3 of the first 5 in betting,so 100 looks big
|
|
By:
Endorsement is the one O'Brien horse to drift since the rain was reported. It looks a good ground pedigree to me, and he bombed on soft ground at Saint Cloud. Not a certain stayer either.
|
|
By:
Wootton bassetts best 2 runs were on soft, very soft.galileos win on anything.
Whirl ,same sire, wootton, same grand sire galileo,2nd in the oaks behind Minnie hauk. Saint Cloud Pushed along to lead,it clearly was a pacemaker that day. |
|
By:
There is lightning and rain in Sutton / Cheam. A short heavy shower materialised prior. It's still raining.
|
|
By:
Looks a soft ground derby
|
|
By:
If cranleigh (surrey) is anything to go by the ground will bw rapidly heading towards heavy by tonight
|
|
By:
After that Oaks, Whirl was dropped back to 10 furlongs to win a couple of Grade 1's before finishing last when back up in trip. I think she was better at shorter, and her class got her that Oaks second.
As for the Saint Cloud run, he was second favourite. He made the pace, rather than was a pacemaker. He certainly didn't go wild on the front end, but floundered when asked to pick up in the straight. If it is soft, I wouldn't be too surprised if Endorsement is a non runner. |
|
By:
From watching its runs, they seem to push it to lead ,so it’s outpaced in effect, but it tends to keep on,
It’s dosent fade. But ,yeah, hence its100/1 price, but compared to the 3 its give a race to all under 10/1,it’s a big price. |
|
By:
There must be a chance now that Moore will pick Pierre over Ben if it looks like being very soft.
|
|
By:
Are people looking at Pierre not just because of his soft ground form/G1 win but also the run of A Boy Named Susie at the weekend?
He’s been beaten 2L by Pierre and 2 3/4L by River as you’ll know. That G1 at ST Cloud looks really weak to me and take out Donicha’s colt and he run at the weekend where he might have been flattered and it was a gaff race. |
|
By:
For those looking at endorsement ew as i was , he is running at the curragh thursday night with moore jocked up so unlikely to be running.
|

Thanks,

By:
Christmas Day looks overpriced to me, Moore was criticised for his ride at York in the Dante where he went to the wrong part of the track.
I’d read somewhere that someone said that he looks a Leger horse, AOB has used the Dante for these in the past. 6 starts : 3 wins 2 reds unplaced on debut. Won on heavy. OR: 109 TS: 106 RPR: 121 25/1 Compare Pierre OR: 109 TS: 103 RPR: 122 6/1 Like last year with Tennessee and Lazy Griff (sure stayers before the Derby) he could be one to be running on for a place. Now anyone got a score so I can get on?! ![]() |

1m4f Moore up. Strange he’s on a pacemaker,ha ha.

Still disgruntled I see from earlier! Never mind giving anything to the thread you plebiscite.
|

By:
I thought the Dante wasn’t great, but,it looks a decent race now.
Item beat blue courvorsior,2 back, that won Saturday, allthough hcp. Christmas Day looks a stayer,st ledger, gold cup later. Action ,ran well behind bow echo and hawk mountain. I thought kings trail looked good, but not shown it. Item beat all these in the Dante. It looks a wide open race. |
|
By:
But item and action came up the best part of the track CUTH. Ryan was criticised for going so wide at York.
Christmas Day’s form in front of Causeway looks good he’s also beaten Endorsement. Like Lambourn he’s been travelled this year unlike Pierre. Also like Lambourn he’s started in the Ballysax before a trip to England for his next run. Lots had him earmarked as a Leger hacker before the Derby too. |
|
By:
Christmas Day was a horse I was thinking of when I made my earlier comment. He won a nothing race on heavy. Causeway was making his debut, but the others who finished close behind have done nothing to boost the form. I don't think Camelot/Sea The Stars shouts soft ground either. Of course punters/bookmakers have ignored that, and you are now faced with a shorter price, basically because he won that race on heavy.

I’ve never professed to be a pedigree watcher let alone expert so I’ll take your word on it. I will say that it’s dangerous to look at one race and judge a horse by those that it beat in that race.
That was bourne out recently at Sandown in the Brigader DD when Pen and I were discussing. penzance • May 28, 2026 2:32 PM BST The 2ND in the Mkt,Gethin, the race he won @ Kempton (Magnolia Stks),every horse to run after that has been well beat mostly. Both the 2ND & 3RD ran in the same race @ Sandown on their next start, were 4TH & 5TH,hammered. Delashay • May 28, 2026 3:20 PM BST Pen they weren’t exactly short next time, one was 7/2 came the second, next 9/1 the others any price you like. Think he’s better judged on the runs that mentioned. Also take Adel from that race and it puts it in a different light. He was beat 7L by Hawk Mountain the race before then 10 1/2L by Christmas Day in that nothing race. You may well be right that he won’t handle the ground in a better race, but he has shown he can win on it. |

I have a link if anyone is interested in hearing what Aiden said?
It might make you consider things differently with regards who was rated good enough for a Group 1 as a 2 year old. |
|
By:
I wouldn't be thinking of using a horse now rated 76 to upgrade that form.
