WeLL stewards should nt allow jockey s to get away with rides like that if there was 100k in prize money would not ride like that
By:
Swap jockeys on first two and same result stu surely , what am i missing ?
Winner a debutant so you want know if it's a shock result for a couple of months yet at least. |
By:
If you were being charitable you would call it a very poor ride
By:
wd stu...
1.16 at halfway...new rolex? |
By:
Nice work Seamie :)
By:
Winner 6-figure purchase
Most expensive in the field |
By:
Hayd - watch the full race again and say that was anything other than truly awful....
By:
ok mate fair enough i'll take your word for it , can't be bothered watching it again though tbh as struggle to watch flat racing even once.
By:
looked a shocking ride to me would like evens in a rematch
By:
A jaw breaker at the start followed by two furlongs of heavy restraint

Heffernan knockers you can say you were right when the horse wins a Group 3. Be waiting a while imo.
By:
No one could accuse anyone of thinking that was a good ride on the fav but if he d have beaten winner hard to know but you d be hard pressed to be impressed with the ride on the fav surely :)
By:
missed the kick..wasnt really travelling..pulled hard..but was still 1.16 3f out if it was obvious wasnt winning?..take fav out winners abso pi$$ed in..60 and stable wernt aware again.

Holding up and pulling back a horse rated so far clear of the others, why on earth would you not just stride on and win on the bridle (at least as the aim)...?
By:
The horse certainly will not need a visit to the dentist after that

enniwon lay it sub 1.2 IR?
By:
exactly irons
By:
I have seen plenty of "not offs" fall in Rico so that's a no from me
By:
irons 100% if that wernt off it wouldnt have been 2/13 and went 1.16 IR.
By:
I've not said it was a bn't ride just to be clear, just truly awful...
By:
horse will never beat the winner however it's ridden
By:
just one of those when everything went rong..no-one lay it IR?
By:
Happy enough not to have stood for it
By:
No rico, but I didn't back it to win either, as I already knew who was riding it.
By:
u had to believe the winner was a decent horse Rico or hope it was. nearly 4 lengths to the 3rd.
By:
No bet but agree with Stu and Irons re surely was not the aim to gave it that kind of ride ..not sure who backs horses at 1/10 on for little prize money ..would be hard pressed to do do in a group 1 for 500k tbh
By:
Heffernan just bet him to finish top 4 next race 5/1
By:
why was that even running there ? runs well at Royal Ascot. Next target a joke egg and spoon race on a Monday afternoon at Ayr ??
and their own jock flies over to give it a shocker at 7's on .... |
By:
wd hulk..knew ewe would have copped the lot.
wd again sir. |
By:
u wouldn't place a maiden to win a race hulk ?
By:
System didnt work for us this time abba haha gave it a whirl too..ran ok ..thought Calem went a bit early there too...gamble foiled..
By:
no suitable races in Ireland ??
By:
Bit odd Hulk alright ..think Howard right..
By:
An objective view is required for some balance so where is Mics when you need him
![]() |
By:
why fly Heffernan over to ride it ? could've asked any jockey riding there today to ride it.
or would that have meant getting them involved ? |
By:
"no suitable races in Ireland ??" Ayr less road miles for plenty of runners
By:
why not lay sub 1.2 on an obv shocking ride?
im curious? |
By:
He cannot be betting today Hayden
