'Delayshay', I've just seen 'Andrew's' post. I think I've binned the poster before. Maybe he's using a slightly different moniker now. And, the assumption my post or hatred for bookies was based on losses prior was condescending, probably arrogant and insecurity all rolled into one. Maybe 'Andrew' has not heard of the saying "act ignorant and stupid, play the opposition at their own game to win".
Possibly one of the the most ill informed pile of rubbish I have had the misfortune to read for a long long time, you clearly know nothing of Andrew or his threads .... for phucks sake have a day off, who knows you may even feel better for it. ![]() |

Like some have indicated we're here mainly to exchange views - some more eloquently and knowledgeable - nevertheless, they are opinions all the same; horseracing is a game or pastime to most here. However, if someone repeated use their "horsey knowledge" to post their lay bets here then it's prudent to believe there must be an ulterior motive by the individual eg self-interests and/or a wannabe or a bookie (trader perhaps) masquerading as a recreational punter here. Whichever one can always bin or put the poster on "ignore" like I've done (again).
Anyone who is vociferous and non-conducive to the above could exercise their right with the "ignore" facility. But, disingenuity is the 2nd most abhorrent trait on this forum, personally. |

No chance of you joining the Naps competition then ??
![]() Andrews lay thread is a bit of fun, best that you have blocked him if that's what you think. |

I may be wrong but I tend to think there are more on here masquerading as "sharp minds" than there are masquerading as recreational punters

sharp minds shouldnt be betting 1,01 leaves alot in between i hope ![]() |

What is the difference between someone posting their tips and someone posting their lays?
If you don't like his lays and wish to ignore him, keep it to yourself. You do not need to come on and discuss it with your other account "delashay" and try and put the guy down. |

From the anti post forum aka ghost town where all the bullies and keyboard warriors are too scared to give an opinion in case they get it wrong!
![]() Delashay • May 20, 2025 9:30 AM BST Here’s my take on the Dante and the runners involved. For me it was a pig of a race and it could well house the winner of the Epsom classic, but I’ll wait and see what unfolds as the bunched finish doesn’t look good. My concern for Pride Of Arras was that he looked very fit, watch as he crosses the line, every rib is glistening and you see every sinew under his belly. He’s very lightly raced so can improve but how much more fitness wise I’m not sure. He’s a good yard stick for Beckets other runner Stanhope Gardens. After the long lay off will Pride Of Areas bounce? Is that why Aiden is so soft with the re introduction to his runners after the break? It’ll be fascinating to see how the two trainers approaches play out. Anyone reading Impossible and I can see we are two different people! The bullying here from some is despicable and I sincerely hope that you pluck up the courage to tell someone in real life when they upset you. Don’t carry the hate or resentment it’ll only eat you. |

Ante not anti.
Surely you know the difference between the two words. The Dante was a pig of a race and it could well house the winner of the Epsom classic. Covering all bases in that sentence. Joker |

I backed Pride Of Arras after the Dante. In recent days I thought it was looking an interesting and open race. Looking again today I think Pride Of Arras is still value at 5s, and have gone in again. Good luck all. Better luck next time shandy |

You were saying?!
[![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() brandyontherocks • June 4, 2025 6:58 AM BST I have backed Pride Of Arras for reasons I gave a couple of weeks ago. I especially like the fact he won first time out when the Becket yard was quiet. They seem to be coming to the boil now. Delacroix is the obvious danger, and has won his two trials impressively. Ruling Court looks a bit speedy to me, and I have doubts about him staying the 12f. The Lion In Winter can not be backed on his come back run. Of course comparisons will be made to Ballydoyles last two winners, and we know how much their horses improve from debut. But neither Auguste Rodin or City Of Troy had set backs as a 2 year old, and they both made their seasonal debut in the Guineas. Giving them an extra couple of weeks before the Derby. |

Going in again on a 5/1 shot in 19 runner field from a high draw with rain forecast was either greedy, foolhardy or the act of pug munter - Maybe both are relevant here in this case!
It’s easy to get swept away with the hype I suppose and the racing press online and on tv did that in abundance. If that wasn’t bad enough there was ONE HUGE STAT that counted against the under odds runner. I’d of gladly mentioned it beforehand but given the animosity shown previously that ACE sat and will sit quiet! ![]() |

Not sure how anyone watching that race could think She's Perfect did not interfere with the Aga's filly. Opinions I suppose!!! Then the conspiracy theories come out!! How we love the 21st century. brandyontherocks • June 12, 2025 5:19 PM BST What is the difference between someone posting their tips and someone posting their lays? If you don't like his lays and wish to ignore him, keep it to yourself. You do not need to come on and discuss it with your other account "delashay" and try and put the guy down. Pot kettle Black To make up a conspiracy theory of your own as a way to cause suspicion and aggro. Yes, “how we love the 21st Century.” But not hypocritical shatstirrers! |

Anyway I’m not here to argue or name call, I’ve said all that. I hoped maybe share some stats and insights that have been useful to me over the years. With a view to putting up some nice price winners. I don’t pick many but they are real odds when I do!
Favs aren’t for me, laying isn’t either and it appears that my way upsets some. Please don’t engage if I’m not your cuppa. All this makes me feel less like giving a heads up when I spot one now and it shouldn’t be that way. Now I’ll log back into Impossible JOKE! There’s lots to study form wise for Ascot to study and all our efforts are best spent there rather than negative exchanges. |

'Delashay', do not worry about it! I've never been mistaken for someone else here. Maybe it's just an individual with a propensity to annoy or to manage self-insecurity or boredom.
'Andrew and brandy' are on ignore. I do not want to see what they post esp Andrew's lay bets; I very rarely lay bets unless it's a sure thing eg superboost, to achieve a green; etc. I'm sure as individuals they are sociable and pleasant. But, just their posts on this forum. |

Here's a proposition for you Delashay......
In my opinion i reckon yourself , Irons and brandy are good posters with a lot of good opinions and all three of you generate interesting topics of conversation. Issue with others like myself outside the " trio " is the continued sniping which i'm sure i speak for everyone by saying it's a turn off ending with us missing out on some interesting discussion. Suppose the question to ask is if any of you are prepared to wipe the slate clean , cut out the personal insults and give us all the opportunity to read / digest the conversation instead of reaching for the back to topics button. I know what response i'm expecting but just hoping i'm wrong , good luck ![]() |

Hayden I said my piece after being continually bitten at, I offered people the chance to join the races discussion repeatedly. My second post yesterday was my attempt at saying let’s leave it there. However, I won’t be bullied and stand my ground on my opinions.
It’s twice that I’ve had to say that I’m not here to bully or harangue anyone, racing is a passion of mine and I decided to join in after watching from the outside, to try to bring something new and engage with people who have the same love for the sport as me. Appreciate you enjoy some of what we’ve all said and your effort. Impossible I think we might be like marmite and you’re welcome to do as you find, Andrew’s thread isn’t annoying to me and he has an interest in French racing the same as Smoky, it’s something that I also enjoy lots. |

Indeed 'Delashay'. I do what suits me best. Each to his/her own, it's my adage. It's only a horseracing forum afterall.
