crowd involvement makes a huge difference in tennis imv.
|
|
By:
Agree also motivation , when i said i never back pre-match the only rare time i do so is when someone does really well and goes deep into a tournament but you pick up stuff that tells you they only turn up on Mon/Tues for the following weeks tournament for financial gain , like for sponsors and maybe appearance money , when that's the case they can quite easily tank whatever their match odds.
|
|
By:
oh i agree with that Hayden...
win a nice tournament can regularly be followed by a flat performance or two in a lesser event... Rybakina can be a bit like that imv altho she did well in Indian Wells and Miami (both big tournaments tho). |
|

Trevisan flip flopped from 1.23 now , if you never trade that's tough to take if you lose after a great initial call.
That said Hib everyone has their own way of making it work and all about the long term. |
|
By:
oh absolutely Hayden...
taking an initial position if you think it has the look of a fairly even game and one is trading at 1.5ish at the start of the game is a good scenario... lay to back in play is the obvious thing to do... always a tricky call tbh but i think the trading game is the way forward... Trevisan collapsing now so 1.23 backers looking stuffed ![]() |
|
By:
switched to Vekic v Sasnovich now...
|
|
By:
As i said yesterday i never lay any higher than 1.25 in any circumstance , keeps the required long term strike rate pretty low and that bodes well when your opposing players with either concentration issues or an inability to play to a level over a long enough period of time.
Good initial call though mate ![]() |
|
By:
sounds like a decent strategy tbh Hayden...
Sasnovich 1.08 backers looking bleak now... ![]() |
|
By:
What a graph this , Muchova flip flopped from 1.02 now
![]() |
|
By:
she was 4.0 up when i switched over...
took another look and it was 4.4... madness. |
|
By:
Owe you one Hib for getting me interested in trading that game , doubt i'll better that trade all day.
|
|
By:
don't be daft Hayden...
all i said was i liked the look of the game and i thought it was more even than the betting suggested... you put your money where your mouth is... right next game... Cirstea v Ostapenko looks a good one to me. |
|
By:
oh god...
Mertens v Kalinskaya coming up too... far too many good looking games on today imv Hayden. |
|
By:
Ostapenko is on my trading list , often snatches victory from defeat but also defeat from victory.
|
|
By:
Giorgi v Alexandrova another good looking match imv...
and then Rybakina tonight... blockbuster of a day. |
|
By:
oh definitely volatile is Ostapenko Hayden...
one of my favourite players for entertainment value tbh. |
|
By:
Yes Giorgi on trading list as well.
Still have to be interested in all games list or not as it's not set in stone , list needs amending due to retirements and such like , also new possibilities to add on and will consider adding Muchova but need to see a bit more of her to see if she fits the criteria. |
|
By:
seen a fair bit of Muchova tbh...
definitely got a bit of a flimsy look at times imv. |
|
By:
Greening out of this one a tad earlier than normal Hib , Ostapenko 1.21 out to 1.80 will have to do.
My turn to cook the tea ![]() |
|
By:
that's good business you've done there Hayden...
this Giorgi game is looking good and Rybakina later... cheers. |
|
By:
Need a rest now to be fresh for midnight Hockey.
Good luck later ![]() |
|
By:
i'm just wasting time until Rybakina comes on Hayden tbh...
been a horrific day on the horses here... definitely time to jack it in now. |
|
By:
Horses were easy to avoid for me today tbh , no bad e/way singles or acca's qualified , couldn't see or didn't have time to spot any rank outsiders in low handicaps with ready made excuses for improvement , so days like today i just let the BOT do its thing.
|
|
By:
and it certainly did Hayden...
Betfair x-matching BOT at quadruple max... makes it impossible for me when in running liquidity is so shockingly bad... at least it made me realise it's time to move on which is probably a good thing tbh. |
|
By:
even tho i'm a big fan of Rybakina i couldn't have her around 1.38 against Kalinskaya Hayden...
got to be closer than that imv. |
|
By:
and Krecjikova around 1.5 v Ostapenko...
again i'd have it closer than that personally. |
|
By:
Muchova 1.76 v Giorgi 2.28...
good looking game this one. |
|
By:
Kasatkina 1.01 in a bit of trouble here.
|
|
By:
1 set all...
now trading at 1.47 Kasatkina. |
|
By:
Sorry late on parade
Wife dragged me to a Eurovision party last night then live Hockey so a late night again. |
|
By:
you've missed some good stuff this morning Hayden...
plenty more to come tho. |
|
By:
Kasatkina wins...
1.01 backers can come out from behind the sofa. |
|
By:
Ostapenkoooooooooooooooo flip-flop.
|
|
By:
Yes a really good one Hib , due to late arrival there's only a couple of list players to get involved with today , Ostapenko & Goffin matches
Love flip flops ![]() |
|
By:
fair play to Ostapenko Hayden...
she looked like she could easily have just checked the first set but dug in... ![]() ![]() |
|
By:
i think the Rybakina game could be a good trading angle Hayden...
think she's way too short personally... and conditions aren't exactly fast out there... if her serve ain't working it could be a real struggle for her imv. |
|
By:
win probability has Rybakina 53% v 47%...
interesting. |
|
By:
you need to get Rybakina on your list Hayden...
she's playing brainless tennis here. |
|
By:
Yes looks like Hib , have looked at her before but no included her for a reason i forget.
Been caught up in the Ireland vs Bangladesh match , great graph with Ireland busted after being matched at 1.05. Over £32 million matched on the game. |
|
By:
1.08 flip flopped in the Goffin game so that's a great day , done now until tomorrow.
Having a kip soon and setting the Hockey alarm for 3am. |
