Smacks of ‘Iraqi Bob’, where that comedy fool would tell the world how well the Iraqi Army were doing against impending US might.
I don’t care what rationale NATO come out with, the fact all the nations haven’t created a no fly zone over sovereign Ukraine is a disgrace. |

Imo the Ukrainians are getting a lot more help than just weapons and ammo. Its already been reported mercenaries are getting involved, so that would be a very good cover for special forces from around the world to help out.

I believe Putin is balls deep on Galopin des Champs for the 3 mile race and it was Mullins suggestion that he was going to run him over the shorter trip that pushed him over the edge.

Both correct. My informant tells me that it was rumoured Mullins was on holiday in a Black Sea resort in the Ukraine. This is Putin's way of sending the "boys" in to find him!

Yes, once we are on the real brink he will be taken out from within, they're all happy to live under his regime whilst enjoying a comfy lifestyle, but once we are faced with oblivion they will take power away from him.

Just heard from my cousin out there. He'd been working in Ternopil, in the west, when the invasion started on Thursday (he designs and exports industrial control systems). His wife and 8yo son were at home in Sumy, on the other side of the country, right on the Russian border. And one of his twin daughters was at university in Kyiv (the other is at university in Dresden, clever girl).
So, he's been driving across country, back and forth, to find them and pick them up, and I'd been waiting for news since he went offline on Thursday. Turns out he's finally got them to Tsukovets, neat L'viv in the west, where my dad and his family originally came from. He only had the three encounters with the occupiers, and just had to flee Russian tanks the once, but he made it in the end. Of course, sooner or later it will kick in that they don't know when they will ever be able to return to their old lives and home. But for now, utter relief. |

Screaming, glad to hear that your family is OK
I must admit that I thought Russia would be in complete control of the whole country within days, I didn't reckon on the fantastic resolve of the Ukrainian people I think maybe Putin didn't either |

By:
Half the Ukrainian population grew up under Russian occupation. My cousin did. They know they have nothing to lose by fighting and risking everything. Such people are dangerous.

unspeakably horrible. rasputin has invaded because he doesnt think ukraine is a real country. he believes its part of russia. and in an essay last year he blamed the bolsheviks for making ukraine a state. whatever ukrainians think. it was little different from mein kampf, but we tried to appease him, and as ever, it doesnt work. the bully laughs and does what he wants. an evil bugger who has massively enriched himself while killing all those who object.
ive spent time in ukraine and the idea it was a threat to russia is a giant lie. what he fears is ukrainian freedom because its attempt to gain access to the e.u.(not nato) was what gave him the hump. its no coincidence that he took over crimea the same year ukraine made overtures to that well-known fascist group, the e.u. he said the end of the ussr was a 'catastrophe'. those in the baltic states and eatern europe will disagree. but thats the problem. he doesnt differentiate between the two. thers a reason estonis latvia and lithuania wanted to join nato. protection from him. and ukraine was the 3rd largest nuclear power but gave up their weapons after being assured of their territorial integrity by the russia the uk and u.s. how they must regret that. russia is an economic disaster, despite having the greatest resources in the world, by a mile. but he and his chums own the state and use it for their own ends. russia should be the richest country in the world, but its people are immiserated. depressing beyond belief |

Putin has sent his army into a hornet's nest. They aren't just fighting the Ukraine army they are
up against millions of armed residents ready to put their lives on the line. What's more, even if they take Kiev and impose a puppet government, the people of Ukraine will never accept that. Russian soldiers must already be wondering what the hell they are doing in Ukraine. Hopefully the protests in Russia will turn into millions of people and /or the Russian army will turn on this Psychopath, Putin. |
|
By:
Russian soldiers have learnt their lesson. They've reverted to Syrian tactics, keeping out of the fight and launching cluster bombs at civilian targets instead. That's what they appear to have used to hit the tower block in Russian-speaking Kharkiv this morning. Dozens dead.

I think regardless of what happen to Ukraine President Putin is on his last leg. I think he'd be deposed or something truly unpleasant will happen to him in Russia - his military generals do not see eye to eye with him on this invasion. Also, he's brought shame and disgust to Russia from the rest of the world.
I think it's only a matter of time President Putin be brought to a war tribunal to answer for this war crime, and the assassinations of anti-Putin dissidents overseas. |
