missed 2 races now good luck |

Again jumping it's my opinion of your train of thought, no one is asking you to change your mind or agree.
By:
None of us will ever know the truth - this is just how life is - no matter how unlikely you may believe something to be e.g. Brexit or Trump being elected president ..... you can never really KNOW
By:
You are saying my train of thought is insane Dealer. Keep the passive aggressive nonsense, I'm too cute for that
Like someone on the thread earlier, called people idiots if they don't believe its just an innocent mistake. Experience tells me that jockeys can be bought and when money is involved people can do anything Your assurance that he's a kid and made a mistake is irrelevant. No proof. Just hopeful fluff |
By:
agree completely monk .... all about opinions - no truth
By:
Never heard of passive aggressive nonsense but take your point
By:
good luck.
no offence |
By:
Just to be clear though I didn't say he was a kid and made a mistake, I said it was human error, I don't think age has anything to do with it,
By:
Why would you start riding again near the finish if you think you already won.Unless the Jock passing you shouts HOI Winning lines up here
![]() Or you have it in your mind to do that before the off ![]() Didnt back it myself so dont give a sh1t really ![]() |
By:
I would imagine quite simply he saw the winning post and realised his mistake
By:
In the same race, the fav (Montather) apparently runs too free and finishes last 8 lengths back. Not a lot of questioning on that s**t show. I would have been annoyed/angry at Crehan for that bad mistake but at least I know it was just a human error. Montather would leave me scratching my head though and very annoyed.

People know O'Neill isn't all that so the horse not settling is ho-hum
You can't know the kid's mistake is human error. |
By:
Anyway, I'm out
I'll take my cynical old head off to the dinner table. Be lucky all ![]() |
By:
By:
btw not saying there was an error from O'Neill, just making the comparison.

It was a big fook up, nothing more. Those who lost money are extremely unlucky. Those that think it was intended are absolutely fooking bonkers.
By:
Another one who doesn't know.
By:
The horse was pulling like stink wasn't he?
Unless the jockey was using a cattle prod, I think we can put it down to the jockey not having "lovely hands". Can never rule out the cattle prod though ![]() |

Adding this thread to favourites to resurrect, when the tell all book comes out.

Some things are blindingly obvious. There isn’t always a conspiracy when something goes wrong.
It’s 1.01 you backed it considering how much you are protesting. Most other people who backed it are saying to themselves ‘that is just my luck’ and they have moved on. Not you though, the jockey took a bung to rob you of your hard earned. |

It was a big fook up, nothing more. Those who lost money are extremely unlucky. Those that think it was intended are absolutely fooking bonkers. So it can’t be bent thank goodness for that. He rides in the 2 previous races with a 50 metre advertising hoarding telling him where the winning post is, yet half hour later he eases his mount 100 yards from the advertising hoarding which signals the winning line and says it’s the half furlong marker that confused him and we’ve got to swallow it. I mean people are pulling people up for wild accusations and how can we possibly think it was an easy to make to make, when the facts we are confronted with stink. We must be fecking bonkers to have to listen to it tbh…thank feck were not in court, we’d see who was bonkers then. |

Nope. Again thinking you know is not knowing. Made a profit.
I really can't be ar$ed with this any more. My point is anyone who asks questions shouldn't be abused for doing so What basis are you saying it is human error Do you know the kid? Do you know his circumstances? Probability says he is innocent, I agree. But questions must be asked |

To kenbo ^^

some people ask questions but only want to hear the answer they already have in their head

I can’t believe I lose money on here when I see some of the opinions of the posters. The shrewdies must not come on here!
By:
some people are so dumb they can't admit the basic premise of my argument is without doubt correct
do you judge people on appearances too? |
By:
why are you ugly?
By:
What part of my opinion do you disagree with Kenbo?
By:
What basis have elise/kenbo decided this was human error?
Do tell You seem so convinced Is it emotion? |
By:
Jumping stop the passive aggressive nonsense
By:
I'm not ugly elise.
You couldn't afford me anyway |
By:
lol, dealer, you don't know what it means. you said so earlier.
By:
We all play the odds on here, Jumping. The obvious odds tell me it was a fook up. For some reason you disagree.
By:
Could one of the jockeys in behind not tell him to keep riding
5k difference and save him what could of been a big ban some friends they are ![]() |
By:
maybe that's why you lose Kenbo
Revisit your approach to odds? ![]() just kidding. it's a fluffy world out there. enjoy it |
By:
stewards investigated, deemed he's mistook the winning line & stopped riding, you seem to think otherwise so actually the person who should be explaining what they are going to do about it is you surely?
By:
tell me in the real world what you have done or intend to do other than throw accusations on a forum?
By:
I'll respond later.
Missing too much racing |
By:
Everyone agrees it's either a riding error or a deliberate action. I'd suggest 99% of racegoers would plump for it being an error and as we'll never know if the 1% are correct there's not much point continuing the debate. My view is it's a 100% error ;there are far less obvious ways to ensure a horse loses a race it should have won.
