Twitter the best way? What about the bootman, where is he these days? By no means his job but he did seem to at least have contact with the right people to tell them how bad it is, try get something sorted Think that is what that horse betters forum or what ever it was called was meant for along with other complaints email to head honcho maybe? Not that i'm important. Would just imagine many other rec players that get enjoyment from reading races cant or dont get any from that video. Infact I would imagine there is very little rec money left in play, why would you bet on something you cant see properly? |

I wouldn't like to hazard a guess at who specifically, but clearly BF are aware and are, if we are supposed to believe what they say, leaning on the powers that be as much as they can to get it resolved.... It either goes above their heads or they're in on it. I find the latter hard to believe.

But whilst it doesn't work for I/R players it still works if you aren't bothered about I/R and are happy just to watch the race on a lower setting.
There must be a large amount of people who Betfair have seen an uptick in doing this which is why "in their eyes" there is little incentive to sort it out when only us I/R minority are affected by it, that's what I suspect anyway. |

IR has historically amounted to about 20% of total liquidity....I doubt the lionshare of that are keep bets or blind systems betting.

How do you know there's little incentive, Duffy? It might just be completely out of their hands. They are paying for this!!, if something you were paying for didn't work would you carry on paying for it whilst it was broke and just say oh well? no, no one would. Why aren't they not saying, "we'll stop paying until it's fixed", perhaps because they have a majority of customers who are happy just watching the race not bothered about I/R and happy, perhaps customers lost to RTV subscription but RTV are getting paid by betfair to compensate. |

It's not just BF that are getting the same crappy product, though, Duffy. It probably is perfectly fine for regular bookmakers, so you maybe have 1 customer out of 10 (?) who isn't happy with the quality of the service. All things being equal, how much sleep are you going to lose about that?

what are you talking about man...? the pics are jumpy no matter what setting you use... you are making out they are perfect on the normal setting i presume...? not when i have viewed a race on that setting they ain't... your theory is complete and utter tosh. |
