I’m saying the regulator needs to do more of the job they were created to do in the first place, I’m not naming people like you are doing. We all know who’s doing what, and the majority of those here regularly have done or continue to do those things....while you incriminate yourself declaring you sold them and you call me silly?

Thebootman is only doing what I’m saying should happen in attempting to get the picture providers to speed up, I’m saying the regulator needs to help him.
At present he’s in the invidious position of having to ask what they are doing to reduce the gap for IR betting. ATR act like the Vladimir Putin of the racing world and think they don’t even need to answer any questions let alone have any responsibility to improve the position. RTV are slightly better but still guilty of dragging their heels and fobbing people off.

When I say regulation is required I’m saying the tending of streaming contracts should be under the remit of the betting regulator, after all its horse racing that was created solely for the intentions of gambling, and the pictures of races are for the use of gamblers in the process of gambling....so why the f uck are they regulated by ofcom who simply count the number of rude words before the watershed?
If the private sector is to be allowed to tender for streaming contract rights then the gambling regulator needs to create the required standard for the company to meet. If they fail they get sanctioned or lose the contract. If the cumbersome traditional broadcasters feel they can’t do the job then stand aside and allow the rights be won by a technology company who don’t need to pay presenters or form study gravy trainers sat around in studios.

The regulators don’t even need to be around, just the threat that they will turn up unannounced to test the product is enough incentive.
